The Prime Minister's fifth daughter, Gu Fenghua, was the envy of all the ladies in the capital. She was a good for nothing and incapable of cultivating, yet she led a far better life than the princess who was a prodigy because her four powerful older brothers doted on her.

"Gu Fenghua?" A surprised and delighted voice suddenly rang by Gu Fenghua's ears. He closed his eyes before opening them again to confirm that Gu Fenghua was openly eating jellied tofu in front of him.

Gu Fenghua ignored the voice and continued enjoying the delicious, jellied tofu with her face beaming.

"Haha! Gu Fenghua, I can't believe you dared to come out without bringing any men. That's mighty brave of you!" said the man with his face almost contorting hysterically in joy.

Even though Gu Fenghua's powerful older brothers had disappeared, she shockingly dared to come out on her own. Heaven was certainly on his side. He could finally seek revenge on her. He was so obsessed with revenge that he had become somewhat maniacal.

The man could already envision the sight of him torturing Gu Fenghua. He wanted to take all his anger for the humiliation he suffered and take it out on Gu Fenghua many times over. Her older brothers adored her. If they learned that their beloved little sister was tortured by him, it would feel far more painful than death to them.

Gu Fenghua? All the patrons eating jellied tofu turned to look at the young lady as she ate her jellied tofu unhurriedly. Despite being well-dressed, the young woman looked weak. "Who are you?" Gu Fenghua remained calm. She finally gave him a glance when she heard what he said and realized that it was a man that she did not know at all.

The man trembled with his eyes bloodshot in fury! He had been thinking of revenge day and night, but the culprit did not even remember him!

"Kneel and kowtow to me now! if you agree to become my 16th concubine, I will let you off!" The man had planned on torturing Gu Fenghua but changed his mind the moment he caught sight of her beautiful face.

Gu Fenghua glanced at the man before turning to continue eating her jellied tofu. She blatantly looked at him like he was some idiot.

"You useless girl! In the past, I didn't dare to touch you with your brothers around. How can you act so arrogantly now that they are missing? How can you be in the mood to eat jellied tofu here?" The man instantly caught onto the expression on Gu Fenghua's face and was furious.

"Who said they are missing?" Gu Fenghua took a bite of her jellied tofu unhurriedly. The man was startled from hearing this, so he instinctively retreated by two steps. Had her brothers come home? In that case, his actions were as good as suicide.

"My brothers have just gone on a long trip and happen to be out for now." Gu Fenghua glanced at the terrified man and scoffed, "You wuss."

"How dare you mess with me!" The man was so agitated by Gu Fenghua that his eyes turned red as he roared and charged over to flip her table. Gu Fenghua only managed to save the jellied tofu in her hands while the two other bowls on the table fell and turned over on the ground.

Gu Fenghua looked at the jellied tofu and broken bowls on the ground before she slowly raised her head and looked at the culprit.

"I'm Jiang You! I'm going to return the humiliation your brother gave me many times over!" The man called Jiang You stared at Gu Fenghua dead straight with viciousness in his eyes.

"I see! You're Jiang You. I remember you now. My second older brother beat you so badly that even your mother failed to recognize you." Gu Fenghua finally realized who he was. Every word she spoke was the truth. After her second older brother beat Jiang You to a pulp, his face swelled so badly that even his guards and own mother could not recognize him when he went home.

"Die, you bitch!" The moment Gu Fenghua brought this up, Jiang You recalled the humiliation he suffered. Jiang You roared as he unsheathed his sword and charged over to aim it at Gu Fenghua's face. He was determined to kill Gu Fenghua there and then.

Everyone ran from the jellied tofu stall, including the proprietor. The common citizens took off whenever brawls broke out among the powerful. One after another, they ran off nimbly.

It did not matter if they pitied Gu Fenghua. How could they send themselves to their deaths? If they wanted to save her, they should at least be capable enough. Since common citizens like them were at the bottom of the food chain, they knew where they stood in the pecking order, so before long only Gu Fenghua and Jiang You remained in the alley.

Look at what he did to her jellied tofu! She had queued for over an hour for the jellied tofu, but this idiot ruined it.

"How can this be? This is impossible. Aren't you a good for nothing?" Jiang You trembled with fear and disbelief in his eyes. Was Gu Fenghua not a weak, useless girl? Was she not so weak that she would pant from walking a few steps and had to take the horse carriage all the time? She was weak, so her older brothers were overly protective of her.
