Orphams Morning

Orpham sprung out of bed, and was excited as he could possibly be.

'Today is the first day of school! I can't wait to see what all we will learn!'

Orpham, as usual was overly cheery. Although he often showed this side, his father knew when it counted Orpham became very serious very quickly.

He raced into the closet, putting on a yellow jacket with white lacing and white pants. His shoes were white dress shoes. On the back of his jacket, was the Guestino family crest of nobility, just like all of his clothes.

He ate some basic oatmeal that the academy provided, drank a full glass of orange juice, and ran out his room. On his door, like Ojero's was a schedule. His classes start with Strategy and Leadership

Walking down the halls, Orpham took his time to savor the moment. He was finally at the academy, the next step in life.

Not only that, but he had already met a cute girl named Karina who he would be meeting up with later today. They agreed on that yesterday after they were let into the building. Orpham was very excited, as this was the first time he talked to a girl his age.

It filled him with a feeling of anticipation, but he also felt nervous about it. He couldn't exactly practice talking to girls, so he was out of his element, but that wouldn't stop him!

Thinking about it made him anxious, so he started using his space magic. In his right hand appeared a black and dark blue ball that distorted some of the air around it.

It was a miniature black hole, and it helped calm Orpham down. Feeling the mana flow through his veins made him feel so… helpful! It was as if any problem anyone had he could fix with just a touch, helping perfect the world.

Unlike his brother, Orpham loved the idea of being a hero. This clash of view points were most likely stemming from the stories of their youth. Orpham loved the thought of the strong helping the weak, whereas Ojero became disgusted with them wasting their time on others instead of progressing on their own paths.

They however agreed on one thing; magic would be their path to their dreams. For Ojero that was gaining all the power he needed to do whatever he wanted whenever he wanted. For Orpham, that was helping the world grow into a golden age, with nobles leading and helping the citizens and peasantry live happy and fulfilling lives, while slowly raising them up.

However, Orpham had a spark of sadness in him whenever he thought about Ojero. He felt like Ojero and he were just too different. This never stopped him from trying to bridge their gap though. He would annoy Ojero very often in an attempt to get him to open up to him. He even tried to make him get angry a few times, but it never worked. It was as if Ojero didn't care enough about him to react in any way.

This originally hurt Orpham, but he soon realized it was just how Ojero was born. When he told his father, he said how some people are just born differently, and that Ojero was one of those people.

It saddened Orpham to think Ojero may have been born unlucky, but he was comforted by the fact he never seemed to be sad about his predicament.

Orpham, however, was going to focus on the now, what he can change today, he started to whistle as he walked towards his first class of the day.
