As evening approached, Little Loach discovered a fist-sized pearl that emitted a faint glow near a small mountain-like rock at the bottom of the river!

Little Loach was extremely excited, but Owen Bertram was very alert, holding back Little Loach and not letting it rush forward immediately.

In the dim riverbed, this radiance quickly attracted a large school of fish.

These Fierce Fish had curved knife-like fins, each about three feet long, with tiny mouths but thick armor-like scales. It made one doubt that the fish scale armor worn by Wood Dynasty soldiers could rival their defense.

There were at least a thousand of these fish, excitedly swimming around the glowing pearl, occupying a large area of water.

Suddenly, a peculiar wave erupted from beneath the pearl. The river water shook violently, and the huge school of fish was instantly stunned. Hidden far away, Little Loach was dazed by the power, causing Owen Bertram to suffer a severe headache as well.
