"What now?"

"What now?"

This is a question that is never asked after the MC's in those Wuxia novels had to ask. At that point, the novel would just end!

This is something that Dante hasn't considered!

What the hell is he supposed to do now that he's invincible and unparalleled?!

He's already seen and explored the world!

He's already reached the apex in both knowledge and strength!

He doesn't like people nor does he have any reason to socialize with ants!

He could dominate the Immortal Realm, but that's pretty much the last thing that Dante wants!

Dante kept his interactions with people to a minimum both in his previous life and in this life, why would he want to deal with now? Not just deal with them, but rule over them?

Honestly, Dante can't see any positives going down this route.

For example, most people create groups/cities/sects/kingdoms/etc, to make up for their weaknesses. It's also easier to control territory and gather resources with more people. Having more people congregated together can also increase one's fighting force.

But Dante doesn't have any of these problems!

If he doesn't have any territory, he can just make one. He has no weaknesses and his knowledge has surpassed the entire Immortal Realm and beyond, he is also so strong that even if everyone in the entire Immortal Realm came at him they wouldn't even be able to put a mark on his body!

Hell, even if some people transcended to become an Immortal, they'd be nothing but a fake in Dante's eyes.

Dante also guessed that even if they didn't get obliterated by the Heavens for defying its will, they wouldn't be able to become a True Immortal, whose body is no longer affected by the passage of time.

There are many factors as to why Dante is different from these people. His Chaos Qi, the fact that he was able to bring out 100% potential in all 3 cultivation systems and reached the peak in them, his perfected bloodline, and the fact that he used the Tribulation Lightning energy to evolve himself into something with zero imperfections.

"Hmmm, now that I think about it, those novels usually didn't only have one Realm. Some had the Mortal Realm and then one can ascend to the Immortal Realm. Some had a total of 9 Realms, otherwise known as 'The 9 Heavens'. Others had several other Realms above the Mortal Realm. But the protagonist would always stand above these Realms, similar to my situation!"

"But wait… This Realm is already called the Immortal Realm. Not only that, but it has 18 fucking Realms of power. Not just 18 Realms, but 18 Realms for 2 cultivation systems and 9 for another! To make matters worse, each Major Realm has 9 Minor Realms! A grand total of 405 Minor Realms! There are only a few novels I've read that have that many Realm, but that was only the case because the Authors were just capitalizing on its popularity to make more money by continuing the story!"

"There are already so many Cultivation Realm just in this Realm, what the hell would I even do if I created a Realm above the Immortal Realm? Honestly, though, I don't really see a point in doing that. I'd definitely have to make that world stronger, so strong that the world would barely get damaged when fights break out. It'd be like restarting their cultivation journey for those who ascend."

"Also, wouldn't doing this basically just be digging my own grave?! In almost all of those Wuxia novels, the protagonist kills whoever stood at the peak and took over their place as the strongest person in the Universe."

"There is no way in hell I'm going to let some snot-nosed brat try and take over my spot!! That person would surely kill me if they ever came to know of my past deeds!"

"Alright, I've decided! Fuck the idea of creating more Realms above the Immortal Realm! Also, fuck Main Characters! If I ever sense someone with a Main Character aura, I'm immediately erasing their existence! They won't even be able to reincarnate with me around! Mwuahahaha!!"

After cursing Main Characters a bit more, Dante started to get back on track. He really wanted to set another goal for himself.

"Should I play God and start creating mortal worlds like Earth? Nah sounds boring and will take way too much time if I don't outright create life and instead let nature take its course."

"I could disguise myself and fuck around in this Immortal Realm! Hmm… that'll be more like a hobby rather than a goal! I need something better!"

"Maybe I could go look for planets that contain life and see if I can discover something interesting. Though I suppose the only thing that could catch my eye at this point is an Inter-Galactic society with highly advanced technology. But that might be more trouble than it's worth. Plus I'll have to deal with people. Ugh! Maybe I'll do that when I'm bored."

"I could also try and further increase my strength, but there isn't really anything to increase. Even if the Universe were to implode on itself, I would still be fine. The only thing that can destroy my weapons and armor is me. I can even create life if I wanted to. My energy reserves are also near infinite if not infinite. Even if I could get stronger, that's not something that I would have to focus on doing anymore. Just by existing, I would get stronger over time."

"I guess I can't set this as a goal anymore either. Sigh…"

"Fuck! What haven't I done yet?!"

"Wait…"

Dante's face darkened as he suddenly thought of something.

"Damn it all!! This Immortal Daddy is still a fucking virgin! Wasn't there a saying back on Earth that a 30-year old virgin is a sage and a 40-year old virgin is a great sage? I'm several hundred thousand years old and I'm still a virgin, what the fuck does that make me?!"

"Wait, but isn't this fine? For what reason do I need to have sex? Is sex worth immortality and invincibility? Is it worth reaching perfection? Hell no!! No wonder I was able to reach where I am today. Sigh… women truly are the downfall of men. Not only that, but I don't have the mental capacity to deal with some girl's feelings. Though I wouldn't be opposed to having a cute little daughter. But how could I let some inferior life-form give birth to my own daughter?!"

There is also something that Dante never said to anyone though and it's that he's actually a hopeless romantic.

For one, he absolutely despises harems. He knows himself damn well and he would never be able to treat and love his harem members equally.

What bullshit is that? Equality? Since when was there ever such a good thing? Everyone and everything has different qualities and naturally any sentient being has preferences. Dante as well.

Also, if Dante can't be bothered to deal with one woman's feelings, how could he even think about dealing with several?

Two, if a relationship's foundation is based on one's strength, social status, looks, or background then Dante doesn't want anything to do with that person.

If he's going to be with a woman then it has to be a woman whose mere presence brings him joy.

A woman where even if they sat in silence for eternity, he'd be satisfied.

A woman who will stand behind him unconditionally and naturally he'd do the same for her.

A woman who he can put 100% trust in and vice versa.

Dante isn't looking for the type of false love that's based on a condition. Something like he needs to have a certain amount of strength or he needs to provide for her in order for her to love him.

If he can't find someone that he can become one with, in body and soul, then he sees no point in entering any romantic relationship.

It's probably easier to become an immortal than for something like this to happen. Especially now that Dante has actually become immortal and invincible.

Not to mention that Dante's temperament isn't exactly mild. No, it could be said his temperament is really bad. He's extremely proud, arrogant, overbearing, domineering, cold. Heartless, unforgiving, and the list goes on and on.

He's killed entire families just because someone from that family said something that irked him. Anybody who disrespects him will definitely die.

And things haven't necessarily gotten better after he became an immortal. It's hard to say if they've gotten worse though since Dante truly believes he's a god and well… he kind of is at this point.

The way he views the world and the people in it has also changed. There is almost no way he'd get offended by mortals.

Would you get offended if a line of ants were standing in your path? Or would you get mad if a fly was buzzing around you? Would you get angry just because a few pebbles are on your road?

No, you'd just step on or over the ants without thinking much. You wouldn't bother the fly much, but if it didn't stop buzzing you'd probably get annoyed and swat at it a few times in hopes that it goes away. If it doesn't go away, then you just kill it. As for the pebbles, you'd either kick those out of boredom/amusement, ignore them, or perhaps you wouldn't even notice.

The same concept applies here. At most Dante would get a bit annoyed, but he'd just kill whatever annoyed him and move on with his day. He might find playing with mortals a bit amusing, but it wouldn't take long for him to lose interest.

But this is beside the point! The point here is that what woman would appreciate Dante's behavior? Sure, it might make them feel nice if he was defending them, but what if Dante just goes on a murder spree every time they went out just because someone got in his way or something annoyed him? He'd get dumped instantly!

Now that Dante has started to think about relationships, he also became a little depressed. It would be nice to have someone to spend eternity with, but only if she meets his conditions!

Thinking up to this point, Dante's eyes which lost a bit of their luster, suddenly lit up!

"If I can't find someone to spend eternity with… Then I'll just make one! Hehe!"
