My Brother’s the Strongest

In an empty training field outside a modest two story, traditional-style Japanese house, stood a young man. He stood around six feet even, with a lithe yet muscular build. Dressed in a black hoodie with black cargo pants and black shinobi sandals that clashed against his silvery/blonde, almost white hair. The young man let out a sigh as his glowing sky blue eyes lazily peered out over his tinted circular glasses, scanning the forest around the estate for his target.

" Are you gonna come to me or am I gonna have to keep chasing you, Naru," he said to himself in a low bored tone, before in a bright red flash to his left, another young man appeared. He was a few years younger than the other boy, with his shorter stature.

He was a few years younger than the other boy, with a slightly shorter stature of around 5'9. The boy had spiky, bright red hair and light violet eyes. Dressed in an open orange/black jacket with a white shirt underneath, and black pants and shinobi sandals.

"Took you long enough, when'd you find the time to place seals around here?" The older boy asked only to get a grin and a wink as his answer. Before the red haired started to glow and rapidly swell in size, as the older boy saw a build up of dark blue energy inside him.

"You cheeky little-"

*BOOM*

A huge explosion of energy and fire, as a result, rocked the training field, kicking up dust and debris while shaking the nearby house. As the huge cloud of dust started to thin, tens of shuriken, enhanced by a massive gust of wind that cleared the rest of the cloud away, cut from the right side of the still remaining forest. The metal stars flashed forward with accurate precision, only to be stopped instantly by their target. In a crater created by the initial explosion, the white haired young man stood, hands still in his pockets, unharmed, as the shuriken hung harmlessly in the air surrounding him. With another bored sigh, he slouched abit as he looked up to peer at the clear sky over his glasses, paying no mind to the still, spinning floating stars of death in front of him.

The boy gave a lazy side eye behind him as he noticed another volley of Kunai this time, streaking towards him at high speeds. He didn't move an inch as, as quickly as they reached him, they stopped. Suspended in the midair. With a frustrated sigh, the boy turned to where the Kunai had come from and yelled out mockingly,

"These hit and run tactics. WEAK! Come out and face me like a man Naruuuu."

Immediately he noticed one of the Kunai hanging in front of him that was wrapped in a sealing tag, started to glow with a specific energy. Space-Time Chakra. In a warp masked by a flash of red hair, the other boy appeared by the Kunai, before snatching it up, kicking off the white haired boy's chest (ha. Not even close), launching himself away, and throwing the same Kunai back into the bunch that activated a sealing array. The older boy watched as Chakra on the single Kunai triggered the other seals on the Kunai surrounding him, causing an instant mini explosion that engulfed him completely.

The red haired boy pulled another Kunai from his weapons kit on his right hip, and readied himself.

And just in time as the older boy instantly materialized in front of him with a manic smile on his face as he threw a dangerous right hook that blasted the other boy off his feet and towards the house nearby.

"Enough evading and exploding!! LET'S GET ACTIVE!"

As the red haired boy flew across the field, he was run down by the older boy with immense speed. He appeared before the still airborne boy and landed a perfect field goal kick to his side. The redhead used the momentum from the kick and his own position, in the air, to right himself and land on his feet, still skidding along the ground. He stopped and instantly tossed the Kunai he held away to his left, as the older white haired boy appeared right in front of him.

He dodged a quick right jab to his face that he noticed came at Chunin level speed, instead of the previous Jounin level speeds his opponent was just using. He could handle that. The two traded blow after blow, showcasing their hard earned skill. The red head backtracked from a high speed right hook, while pushing himself to party the left that followed. He spun to deliver a side kick but it was grabbed by the silver haired opponent and he was tossed away.

Quickly righting himself in mid-air, he warped away to the Kunai he'd thrown earlier. Landing on a tree in the clearing, he was instantly blasted off his feet, while all the air in his lungs was driven out by a powerful palm strike to his chest. He landed hard on the ground, cradling his chest, and gasping trying to desperately take in air. Noticing his opponent's distress, the older boy was instantly by his side. With a slightly worried look, he laid a hand, glowing with ethereal green energy on the redhead's chest.

As the healing Chakra did its job and the boy's breathing became even, he said,

"Sorry bout that Naruto, guess I got a little carried away with your training."

"How am I ever supposed to get as strong as you and dad, if you keep kicking my ass Satoru," Naruto asked with a slight pout. His brother, Satoru merely grinned before "lightly" patting his little brother's head and said,

"You're too tough on yourself, you're already too strong for your age. The strongest actually. Just like me. And just like dad was. Stop comparing yourself to us, ok?" Naruto say the serious look on his brother's face but still didn't believe him.

"Okay but dad was already a Jounin by my age and so were you!!," he yelled out, as Satoru simply shook his head, before taking on a wistful expression as he said in a measured tone,

"True but that type of strength was needed at that time, it was either be strong or die. We had no choice. Our strength was needed for peace. You have a choice, Naru, to be strong and at peace. You don't have any wars to fight, no one to avenge okay. So stop being so hard on yourself." Naruto took his words to heart as he was silent for moment before saying,

"Okay Onii-Chan, I understand. I just wanna prove myself. That I'm like you two." Satoru merely shook his head with a slight smile before he replied,

"And you will eventually, you'll be the strongest. Stronger than me and dad combined. But for now just enjoy your youth and peace. And the Academy. Annnnd a certain pale-eyed beauty that's got the hots for you little bro!" He had to hold in a laugh, as his little brother's face immediately turned as red as his hair and he stammered out ,

"Stop ittt, Hinata's just a friend!" Satoru laughed this time as Naruto tried to make himself smaller. After finally composing himself he looked at the sun's position in the sky before turning to his brother and said,

"Uh huh whatever you say, speaking of which aren't you supposed to be meeting her at the Academy gates for your last week. Better get a move on it." His words brought his brother out of his stupor as Naruto instantly shoot to his feet with an alarmed expression as he said,

"Oh crap you're right, see you later big bro!" And bolted towards the exit to the training ground and through the front door of the house.

"See ya Kid. And I better not hear from Iruka you were late cuz, you whisked Hinata away to the Land of Spring for some romantic getaway!," Satoru teased Naruto as he sped from the training field. He let out a small chuckle and sigh, as his body relaxed and he let his guard down a bit.

Before suddenly he snapped his right arm out, as a blueish energy surrounded it and the area around him. With a tug a hidden figure he'd sensed the entire training session was pulled towards him at breakneck speeds, before stopping to rest in front of him. Satoru analyzed the person who was male, from what he could see and was dressed in an Anbu uniform. The only thing the differentiated this guy from a regular Anbu and made Satoru give him a bloodthirsty smirk, was the blank face mask that adorned his face. With the symbol for root etched on the forehead.

"And who do we have here, another of ol' one eye's lackeys. I thought we'd already had this song and dance. If he touches my Otouto, he and the rest of you muties. Are. Dead. Now run along like a good little pet and relay the message. Oh and take this with you." The blue energy that enveloped the Root member instantly dissipated, only to be replaced with a cruel red light that lit up the entire forest surrounding the house. The last thing the Root Member felt or remembered was his body flying backwards at speeds he couldn't possibly comprehend before everything went black. With a satisfied smirk and mock dusting of the hands, Satoru turned his back to the devastation he'd caused to the forest and made he way back to his house.

"I wonder what Kakashi's up to, let's go bother him. Hehehe"
