Chapter 1: The Clockwork Heart and the Multiverse Misfits

The city of Gearford was alive with the hum of steam-powered machines, the whistle of airships soaring through the foggy sky, and the clinking of metal against metal. Yet inside the workshop of Clara Whistler, things had gotten far too chaotic for her liking.

Rick Sanchez, in typical fashion, had crash-landed into her dimension, swearing loudly about his portal malfunctioning. The Doom Slayer had barged in, demanding the heart. Gojo Satoru appeared, grinning like he owned the universe. Sans strolled in, sipping coffee, like he was just another guy at a cafe. And Hikari... well, he had just shown up, and now everything was about to escalate.

Clara had barely recovered from the shock when another door to her workshop exploded open, revealing P. Diddy, with his gold chains glistening in the dim light. The room seemed to shift with his presence, like a party about to get a whole lot louder.

"Alright, alright, alright!" P. Diddy said with a charismatic swagger, walking into the room. "I got the call to help save the multiverse—though, frankly, I'm here to make it fun while we're at it."

Clara, completely overwhelmed, could barely keep track of who was in the room anymore. "Wait... so now you're here?" she said, still unsure how to react to this absurdity.

Before P. Diddy could respond, Hikari, the guy who had somehow been able to keep things under control until now, raised his hands, grinning wildly. "Alright, folks. You've had your fun. But let's make it interesting." His voice rang with excitement as he summoned a burst of cursed energy.

A sudden, almost electric charge filled the room, and everything seemed to freeze for a moment. Hikari's Domain Expansion—Idle Death Gamble—unleashed with a flash of dazzling light and chaotic, neon energy.

The world around them shifted. The workshop transformed into a high-stakes casino, filled with flashing lights, slot machines spinning rapidly, roulette tables, and a booming soundtrack of intense music. The air was thick with the scent of excitement, like the rush of an adrenaline-fueled gamble.

"I call this my Idol Death Gamble," Hikari announced with a manic grin. "For four minutes and 11 seconds, I'm unstoppable." He raised his hands, the energy surrounding him intensifying. "Infinite cursed energy... immortality... and all the fun in the world. Let's make it a real game!"

In the blink of an eye, everyone in the room felt it: a rush of power, a sudden overwhelming energy that flooded their senses. The gears of reality itself seemed to grind, slowed and warped by the force of Hikari's domain. It felt like time was moving both too fast and too slow.

Rick, who had seen a lot of weird things in his travels, adjusted his portal gun and sighed. "Oh, great. Gambling. That's just what we need right now."

Sans looked up lazily. "Eh, can't say no to a game of chance, right? I've got plenty of time for this."

Gojo smirked. "Nice. Finally, something interesting." He stretched, clearly amused by the chaos but also intrigued. "But this is getting weird... what's the catch?"

Hikari laughed, his voice full of energy. "The catch? There's no catch! This is pure fun. But once the timer runs out, the stakes get a lot higher. So, you'd better be ready to play."

At that moment, the room's atmosphere shifted again, becoming more intense as massive slot machines appeared, their reels spinning impossibly fast. Everything in the room became part of the gamble.

The Doom Slayer, whose focus had never wavered, took a step forward, clearly not amused. "Enough of this. I didn't come here to play games."

"Yeah, yeah," Hikari said nonchalantly, spinning the wheel on a roulette table. "But trust me, buddy. You'll want to gamble. The alternative's way worse."

Without warning, Hikari pressed a button on his wristwatch. A loud, mechanical clunk echoed, and suddenly, a huge mechanical beast, powered by cursed energy, materialized in the center of the room. It was a monstrous clockwork creature, its gears grinding, steam hissing, and glowing with dark energy.

"Fight it, or gamble on it," Hikari said with a wink. "The rules are simple: survive, or play."

The Doom Slayer swung his chainsaw off his back, charging toward the beast, intent on smashing it into pieces. The battle was intense, but Hikari's domain gave him an overwhelming advantage—he could essentially do whatever he wanted within the time limit.

Meanwhile, Sans simply walked over to one of the slot machines, shrugged, and pulled the lever. "Might as well see if I can hit a jackpot," he said, almost too casually, as the reels spun.

Rick, not one to be left out of a bizarre adventure, began messing with the roulette wheel, trying to hack it with his portal gun. "You guys are all amateurs. This is science, not... whatever this is." But even Rick seemed to be entertained as he tweaked the odds.

Gojo, always the showman, stood back, watching the chaos unfold with a smirk. "It's a good thing I'm not one for losing," he mused, eyeing the action. "But we'll see who's got the best luck."

The clock on Hikari's watch began counting down, and the tension in the room grew. With every passing second, the energy was ramping up, pushing everyone further into the gamble. The clockwork beast grew in size, becoming a towering, monstrous force that seemed to multiply the stakes with every hit it took from the Doom Slayer.

As the clock ticked down, Hikari himself was virtually untouchable, his energy limitless, his power unimaginable. Four minutes and eleven seconds was all he needed to win, and the gamble was on.

Finally, as the clock neared zero, everything happened in a flash. The giant clockwork beast roared, crumbling into dust as the Doom Slayer's final blow sent it collapsing. At the same time, the slot machines and roulette tables began flashing wildly—everyone hit the jackpot.

"Looks like everyone's a winner today," Hikari said with a triumphant grin, his Domain Expansion collapsing back into the workshop as the power surged.

Sans yawned and leaned back. "Not bad. Could've been worse."

Rick clapped his hands in annoyance. "So now we all get to play hero? Great. Let's just hope there's no more mechanical monsters or random universe-ending rifts. I'm outta here."

Gojo smiled to himself, clearly pleased. "It was fun while it lasted. But the real game is just beginning, isn't it?"

The Doom Slayer, standing alone in the center of the workshop, let out a sigh of frustration. "I came here to destroy... but it seems the stakes have changed."

Clara, still recovering from the chaos, looked around at the crowd of unlikely heroes and villains in her workshop. "I think... I need a nap," she muttered, trying to make sense of it all.

And with that, the group began to disperse, their chaotic, multiversal collision having somehow resolved, leaving Clara with nothing more than a vague sense of exhaustion and awe. The air was still thick with the scent of steam and cursed energy, and for just a moment, everything seemed quiet.

But everyone knew this wouldn't be the last time their worlds collided.

The end—for now.

Naruto: The Outsider's Resolve

[A Naruto Fan Fiction] Make the best of what you have, they said... But what I am supposed to do when the best I have are red-eyed freaks, a child who's supposed to be the jailor of the most dangerous being in the world, a snake bastard with serious boundary issues, and a whole world of super soldiers with licences to murder. And you know the best part? None of them like me so much... Oh shut it, old man! Take that Will of Fire and shove it up your— Yeah, this second swing at life isn't panning out... --------------------------------------------------------------- What to expect: - Gradual strength progression. Meaningful growth. The MC is a normal guy dumped into the Narutoverse, starts out weak and has to work and struggle for everything he gains. - "Slow" paced. My writing style is a zoomed-in look camera that follows the protagonist. It might seem slow, but I ensure something is always happening to progress the plot forward. - Gritty and often bloody fights and actions scenes with a focus on taijutsu—you'll see individual combat, team fights, and large-scale battle. - A different take on the Narutoverse. The world is full of superhuman mercenaries with liscenes-to-kill—that along with the protagonist's struggles paint the world in a much darker light. - Additions and expansion to the "chakra" power system. I consider myself a conservative when it comes to adapting the power system—and aim to retain the original feel while highlighting the best parts. - The Outsider's Resolve version of Narutoverse uses the [Naruto Manga] as the base—with additions from anime, books, and even Boruto (though very less likely). --------------------------------------------------------------- DISCORD SERVER: https://discord.gg/w5dJ82SfMr --------------------------------------------------------------- PATREON LINK: https://www.patreon.com/fictiononlyreader --------------------------------------------------------------- DECLARATION: This story is also present on: FFN, Ao3, SpaceBattles, SufficientVelocity, and ScribbleHub RoyalRoad [to be verified] --------------------------------------------------------------- DISCLAIMER: I don't own any character other than my OCs. World Traveler Villain

Mc is killed but he’s saved by the Villain System. He has to go to different movie worlds and complete tasks to earn villain points. There’s more to the system and the story than just going to movie worlds. The story is somewhat simple, sometimes doesn’t make sense but it’s funny and entertaining. I think it’s definitely worth the read. Just don’t expect a serious literary masterpiece or something. Obviously. Movies: Captain America. Transformers. RE. Marvel. HP. Fast and Furious. Underworld. The Monkey King. Avengers 2. A chinese odyssey. Spiderman. X-men. And more. Harem: Main girls from these movies. No girls left behind. There are some originals too. Mc steal girls from the og characters obvs. Basically netori. No NTR at all. And, for those who care, all girls are ‘pure’ even if they had bfs, lovers husbands before. *** Tags: Anti-social Protagonist, Antihero Protagonist, Arrogant Characters, Evil Protagonist, Death, Beautiful Female Lead, Evil Protagonist, Killing, Fan-fiction, Fanfiction, Fantasy Magic, Fantasy World, Gate to Another World, Handsome Male Lead, Harem, Harem-seeking Protagonist, Harry Potter, Incest, Male Protagonist, Marvel, Modern Day, Modern World, Movies, Netori, Perverted Protagonist, Movie Worlds, Polygamy, R-18, Sadistic Characters, Sexual, Stockholm Syndrome, System, System Administrator, Villain, Weak to Strong, Multiverse, Omniverse, Multiverse Traveling, World Hopping. ***** You can support me by joining my Patreon and get upto 60 chapters in advance. patreon.com/Translator_God
