The Discovery: Part 1
My name is Richard Mounty, I'm a 34-year-old male that lives in the city of Olivia, I'm usually very shy so I don't talk so much, but that's not the only reason
I was born with no parents, I think they abandoned me but that's not the case, I was adopted and raised by rich parents and they taught me how to read, talk, write, and other stuff like that
However they just adopted me for one thing and one thing only, win a $1.000.000 race, so they trained me a lot for that day, but when the day came, I tripped, and lost the race
My "parents" were so mad and disappointed in me that they dishonored me and put me on the streets, I only didn't die of starvation because of a work I gained in a bakery
That's all happened 12 years ago, nowadays don't work there anymore although I still visit it, just because of her:
Ako Vanessa: "Ah! Welcome Mounty!~"
Her name is Ako Vanessa, and she's beautiful, she is my childhood friend and my crush back in the day and still is to this day:
Me: "Hello Vanessa, can you bring me the usual please?"
I can only talk normally to her, when I talk to others, I either talk very quietly or just too fast or just avoid conversation at all:
Ako Vanessa: "Okay, coming right up!~"
She looks so innocent, I wonder if I even have a chance with her... I hope I have:
Ako Vanessa: "Here, strong coffee with a slice of cake just how you always order~"
She says with a sweet smile:
Me: "You know me well huh?"
Ako Vanessa: "*giggle* Well you always come here so it's easy to remember~"
Another sweet smile, I fell I could see this smile all day, I'm still trying to find the courage to ask her out but... I just too much of a coward for that:
Me: "Ummmm... so Vanessa, do you... Ummm"
Ako Vanessa: "Do you...?~"
Me: "Ummmm... d-do you... Ummm..."
C'MON JUST ASK HER OUT ME!
Me: "Do you have more cake?"
AHHHHHH C'MON!!!! *sigh* at this rate I will never have a chance
Ako Vanessa: "Ah! of course, just give me a minute~"
Me: "S-Sure hehe."
After that out to my house, and when I go there I entered:
Me: "I'm such a dumbass... WHY CANT I JUST ASK HER OUT?! it's so easy just say six words, will, you, go, out, with, me? easy but I still can't say that? AGHHHHHHH! *sigh* if I'm not fast enough, she will get a boyfriend, and forget me... speed, that was always my problem, I always was too slow."
The lights then suddenly go out:
Me: "Huh? what the- I paid my bills what the heck!?"
I go to my basement and to the power voltage to see if there's a problem:
Me: "Hmm... doesn't seem to be the problem here... huh?"
I notice a little cut on the wires:
Me: "Is that why the power goes down? oh c'mon."
When I'm about to fix it, it suddenly explodes and knocks me away knocking me out
I don't remember what happened before, but I remember seeing a thing, I can't describe what it was but, it was, weird and good
After that I woke up in a bed and Vanessa was there, am I in heaven? hmm no still alive:
Me: "Oh my god! Mounty! are you okay?! are you hurt!?"
Me: "Don't worry, don't worry I'm, fine, sort of."
Ako Vanessa: "Thank god for your aliiiiiiiiii"
Me: "Huh? Vanessa?"
Ako Vanessa: "iiiiiiive I was so scared that you..."
Me: "Huh? oh, don't worry, don't worry, I may be just a normal guy but I'm still hard on the fall."
What was that? did her voice, slowed down?:
Ako Vanessa: "Oh my god, you were so hurt when I founnnnnnnnnn-"
It's happening again! But why? What is happening? Wait she not the only one, everyone in the hospital is in slow motion, but why?:
Ako Vanessa: "-nnnnnnnnd you!"
Me: "Vanessa what happened to me?"
Ako Vanessa: "You were struck by the eletricity of your house."
Me: "Electricity..."
Ako Vanessa: "Yeah! you were knocked down unconscious in the wall, I was so scared when I see"
Me: "Heh, don't worry, I'm already feeling better."
Ako Vanessa: "*Sigh* I'm happy to know that."
Her phone starts ringing:
Ako Vanessa: "Oh, gimme a minute please."
Me: "Sure"
She gets out of the room, and I was there asking myself, just what happened, I slowed time down? why want I slowed down as well? What's happening to me?
Nurse: "Mister Mounty?"
Me: "Huh? Ah yes me, I'm here!"
Nurse: "Mister Mounty, if your nurse, and I'm here to do your daily checking"
Me: "Ah, ok"
She starts by checking my articulations to see if something hurts, she messes with my arm:
Nurse: "Does this hurt?"
Me: "No"
Then she goes for my legs:
Nurse: "Does this hurt?"
Me: "...No"
She starts pressing my chest:
Nurse: "Does this hurt?"
Me: "No, nothing hurts"
She gets confused and says:
Nurse: "But you got hit with an electric explosion in the chest and that doesn't even make 2 days since."
Me: "Wait, I'm been here a day?"
Nurse: "Yes sir, but how can you not feel any pain from that?..."
I tried to move and I successfully do:
Nurse: "Ah! Wait sir you... cant... get up..."
Something changed in me, I was taller than before n even more muscular, but how?:
Nurse: "Wait, are you Mister Mounty?"
Me: "Yes, why?"
Nurse: "Just hours ago you had a giant explosion mark on your chest but... now it went..."
What the heck? I had one?
Nurse: "Well, since you are not hurt at all I guess I should free you..."
She starts to leave with a very confused face, and I leave as well, Vanessa was there but she said she needed to go somewhere, after that, I just wanted to go to my home, is going to take a while but that's fine.
Wait, WHAT!? IM IN MY HOUSE!? B-But how!? I was at the hospital 1 second ago, my house was 10 quarters far, how am I here?!
