Moon's Embrace

EXCERPT: A letter to Moon Moriarty… "Just like the kingdom where I was given another life, you came and gave me another ray of hope. If you are reading this letter, then I must be long gone from this world, but I want you to know I am still with you. I left a flower in your hands. Please water it and help it grow and spring out in a beautiful way. I hope you will be reminded of me whenever you see her. I want you to train her not in the way we know of, but in the way we would have wanted to live. Help her live a royal life but do not involve her in royalty, for there lies the evil things we may never know of. I know you went to create a world we could live in peacefully and in love, and now, our daughter will be the one to enjoy most of it. Also, I would love if you can take a trip to where we first met. There, I will be waiting for you. In my next life, I will choose you all over again and by then, I hope we meet in different circumstances. I love you. Till we meet again." __Genevieve This is a heart-wrenching tale of sacrifice, resilience and bittersweet romance. This is my WSA 2024 Entry. Support this book with your votes, reviews and comments.

Horror of the night

Eve wiped her face free of tears and she started to head back. She didn't return to the grand hall, instead, she took another route that would take her home. She has had enough for the night and she didn't want to cross paths with Sullivan for the time being. It would be best if they don't see each other for a while. As she walked alone in the lonely path, a short painful scream echoed in her direction and she stopped walking. She turned to the direction of the scream but all she could see were darkness. She took one step forward, wanting to leave the place instantly as it sent cold shivers down her spine, but the thought that someone could be in danger made her turn her feet back.and she started heading towards the direction.
