Meet another old friends

Ryuma remembered his childhood when he first met Rio, Mika, and Kiyo. Ryuma was only playing by himself. And then, he saw a kid walk towards him...

"Oi, you're the attributeless everybody talks about right?" The kid lends his hand to Ryuma.

"Let's be friends. I don't care if you're attributeless or anything." Hearing the words from the kid almost makes Ryuma accept him. But his pride and jealousy won't let him trust everything he says. Ryuma slaps his hand as the rejection sign towards him.

"You definitely look down on me, aren't you?!! Who do you think I am?!" 

"It hurts... What's with you?! I just wanna become friends with you!" The kid pushed Ryuma but he's still standing.

"I know you! You're like the kids from the other day! Just to accept and then PUSHED me into the mud!!!" Ryuma pushed down the kid hard. The kid stood up and tried to fight him off. That goes the same for Ryuma. The two kids had a catfight. Every minute past, their clothes have been stained by dust from the ground.

And then, the two boys coincidentally walked into the area they were in.

"Eh... someone is fighting. What should we do Mika...?" The boy looked to his side and found out his friend was gone. Just to see his friend named Mika trying to intercept the catfight between Ryuma and the other boy. 

"STOP! MY DAD SAID IT'S NOT GOOD FOR FRIENDS TO FIGHT EACH OTHER!"

"Huh? When did I want to become friends with this guy huh?" Ryuma gave the elbow hit on Mika. Mika who was wearing the glasses dropped it from Ryuma's elbow hit. But Mika did not stop there. He calls out to his friends to ask for help.

"Kiyo! Give me a hand!"

"O-Ok" Mika tried to grab Ryuma from behind meanwhile Kiyo grabbed the other kid. They had no way to tell the time. It's already dusk time. The four of them were lying on the floor from the catfight they just had. A few bruises can be found on some parts of their body. Ryuma who was tired started speaking.

"Hah...hah...hah... I can't move a muscle in my body..."

"Same here..." Said the kid.

"I mean... why did you guys fight anyway?" Said Mika.

"Why... you say...? Honestly, I don't even know what to trust anymore. The other day, a few kids tried to befriend me. And then, they pushed me into the mud.

"T-that's terrible! Why did they do such a horrible things to you?" Said Kiyo. Ryuma then gets up with the little energy he has left.

"Why, you say? Isn't it obvious? It's because I am the one who is born attributless! Say, ain't every one of you had at least one attribute? Well, you can't put me in the same boat as you. I'm leaving." Ryuma tried to walk away, leaving them behind. Ryuma can feel his arm being grabbed. Ryuma looked on his back as he saw the kid who tried to be his friend earlier was holding onto his arm.

"What do you want? Haven't I said I don't want to be your friend?" 

"You're right. We don't know and probably never felt of being in the same boat as you. But! We can give those guys what it is to be defeated by an attributeless!" Said the kid.

"What are you saying?" Said Ryuma.

"Revenge! I can help you get back at them!" The kid once again lends his hand to Ryuma. Ryuma is only staring at his hand. Thinking that he'll be the same as the other kid.

"No fair! I want to join the pack too!" Mika too, gets up and puts his hand above the kid.

"By the way, my parents said more attribute means more power right? My attribute is green which is for only healing so I practically had no power!" Said Mika with a cheerful voice. An another hand too has come and put itself above Mika's hand.

"I-If Mika wants to he-help you, then I too... Will do the same." Said Kiyo.

"Then, what do you say? Getting back at those guys..." Ryuma who felt that he would never have friends again, tried to give it one last try. To have a friend he can talk to. Friends he can play with too. He raised his hand and slowly put them above Kiyo's.

The four of them walked home together. A horizon emanating their path. Mika then opens his mouth.

"Ah! I actually forgot to ask for your name! My name is Mika by the way!"

"A-ah! My name is Ki-Kiyo..."

"My name is Ryuma. And lastly, what's yours?" The kid stopped.

"Rio. That's what my family calls me."

Back to the present, Ryuma was standing not realizing Lain was calling out to him. His eyes were only locked on Mika and Kiyo. Lain then tried to poke Ryuma to bring him back to reality.

"Eh, what?!" Ryuma who had just gotten back to reality confused about his surroundings.

"Your mind was floating in the air kid. Do you hear what I say?" Said Lain.

"No?" 

"I said, I'll take care of those guys first. Then you'll finish your own business here. Now then, I'll pray for a good day for you." Lain left the guild while dragging the whole twelve thugs from earlier with some kind of 'ropes'.

After they left, the man came up to Ryuma.

"My eyes didn't lie to me, right? Ryuma? Is that you?" 

"Mika..." It was the guy who interfered with his fight earlier.

Mikage Najimo. 16 years old. Has a healing attribute. He's been a close friend of Ryuma since childhood. He has the personality of a cheerful guy and is easy to get close to.

"Ryuma, it's been a while." Another man who had been with Mika also came to greet him.

"Kiyo! You too?!" 

Kiyora Akumutsu. 16 years old. Has a wind attribute. A close friend of Ryuma since childhood. He has a calm and mannered personality. He was quite popular when they were in middle school. But for the most people who meet him the first time, would mistake him for a thug or playboy.

"I can't believe I'll meet you both in here... But, what are you doing here?" Said Ryuma.

"Ah! Actually... we're gonna register to become an adventure!" Said Mika with a cheerful voice. 

"Ah, I had only finished registering. Just to wait for the license only..."

"It's fine then, you can wait for us if you want." Said Kiyo. 

They three then, come up to the counter. The receptionist was standing in front of the counter.

"Hello! We're coming to become an adventure- BIG!!!"

("That's too loud idiot!") Mika had his eyes on the receptionist's chest. And then, Mika had a feeling someone's been grabbing his head.

"Watch your mouth. That's my girlfriend you're talking to." Lain grabbed Mika's head with a scary aura surrounding him.

"Ow ow ow ow! Have mercy on me!" Mika was screaming in pain from Lain's gripping power.

"Lain, I think that's enough. You're gonna crush him at this point..." Said Miss Receptionist trying to plead with Lain to let go of Mika. 

A half-hour later, all three of them had finally got an Adventure's License.

"You three started from Rank G first. As you've completed more and more quests, you will be given an exam to raise your rank. Good luck!" Said by the Miss Receptionist. 

"Thank you so much for guiding us, pretty lady!" Said Mika. The three of them left the guild while Lain glared at Mika specifically. 

"So, Ryuma. What're you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be at Herreson Kingdom right now?" Said Mika.

"Well... Let's say I transfer school."

"Wait... doesn't that mean she's(Naname) alone in that school? HOW DARE YOU LEAVE HER ALONE YOU PSYCHO BASTARD!!!" Mika grabs Ryuma on the collar and shakes him vigorously.

"I didn't do it because I want to! Let's say I got expelled and another school decided to take me in..."

"Oh, what a coincidence we also got invited to the school too. What was it? Bakenami Academy?" Said Kiyo while taking out a piece of paper from inside his pocket.

"Oh? Do you both get invited as well? I just got in yesterday."

"Cool. We actually have been searching for that school all day but we haven't found it. So instead, we both wanna try becoming an adventure. And then we both bumped into you." Said Kiyo.

"In that case then follow me. They totally put the school where they'll never be found." Fifteen minutes later, Ryuma stopped walking.

"The school is... that way." Ryuma points to the forest with his thumb finger. 

"You're joking right?" Said Mika.

"Ehh~ You think I'm joking?" Ryuma walks inside the forest. Both Mika and Kiyo decided to follow him. Later, they finally arrived at the outside of the school door.

"Ryuma? Are you sure you're joining the right school right? You sure you're not joining some kind of cult or cannibals?!" Said Mika who was panicking.

"Congrats, welcome to one day ago Mika."

"Hey! Don't walk too fast!" Said Mika who was worried meanwhile Kiyo was calmly following them. As they go inside the school, Ryuma immediately goes to the Teacher's Office.

"I'm here Miss Sunny-" Ryuma opened the door and was shocked about what he was seeing right now. That goes the same for Mika and Kiyo. Rudy who is on the ceiling was tied up upside-down. And Miss Sunny who is holding a saw.

"Oh! Ryuma? Have you gotten the license yet? Oh, this... It is because Rudy just exploded the science lab. So right now he should've atoned for his sin. With a little bit of pain it is."

"NO!!! SAVE ME RYUMA!!! I DON'T MEAN IT I PROMISE!!! No... no don't bring that thing closer to me- AAAAAHHHHHH!!!!-" Ryuma closed the door.

"Uh... Let's say that these are the least normal things that happen inside this school."

"Indeed, It's not something you've ever really seen every day. Isn't that right, Mika?" Kiyo looked to his side and realized that Mika was gone.

"NO!!!! THEY'RE GONNA CUT, COOK, AND SELL MY MEAT TO SOME NOBLE CANNIBAL!!!" Mika kicked something as he ran and accidentally broke the windows. The windows are shut down by a steel protector and the sound of alarms can be heard across the school.

"WHY IS IT EVERYTHING IS SHUT DOWN WHEN I JUST BROKE ONE WINDOW?!!" That day, Mika runs across the whole school. And... he's probably caused more commotion than Ryuma.
