The Princess

After leaving Siera's room, Gwi walked out of the palace without any clear direction and purpose. He doesn't know where to go, all he knows that he just wants to go anywhere as long as he would no longer watch and listens to the interaction between Siera and lover, Eros. His heart had been broken and crushed into pieces.

He knew that he never had the opportunity or the right to be with the princess he had been accompanied by as a lover. He knew that his relationship with Siera was nothing more than just as his masters and her subordinates. But listening directly to the discussion of marriage between the woman he has loved for years with other men still hurts his heart a lot.

Gwi continue to walking without looking around. His heart is too shattered. He was unaware that throughout his journey the trees, branches, roots and even the grass he passed through had paved the way for him. The plants moved as if to provide convenience to the werewolf.

They seemed to can feel the pain experienced by the burly man and wanted to comfort him with their movements. Gwi finally stopped right in front of a very clear lake and reflected the moonlight on it perfectly. Even the sounds of the night animals sang in grief to accompany him.

The werewolf raised his face, then looked at the moonlight with eyes filled with sadness. His heart felt very tight, his mind also floated back to the first time of his encounter with Siera in the deepest forest a long time ago.

Th teenagers Gwi and little Siera walk side by side through the forest road. Gwi's injuries had started to improve thanks to the quick action and treatment the little girl gave him. The two of them were currently walking towards Siera's abandoned horse in a place which is quite far away from their hiding cave.

Now that the sun was about to set, the princess had left the palace unbeknownable to anyone for an all-day. It was time for Siera to return to the palace so as not to worry her parents. She also needed to report the events she saw in the forest to the king.

When they reached the place where Siera left her horse, they could see the entourage of palace guards in there. Some of them had gone through the forest to find out the whereabouts of the princess and some of them stood to guard where Siera's horse was there.

It seems that the king has realized the dissapearance of his beloved daughter and sent his bodyguards to find her. The little princess sighed in annoyance, she had no intention of making a fuss like this. She only intended to leave for a night and return at dawn after finding out what was happening inside the forest. But her return was hampered because she still had to treat Gwi who had helped her.

"princess Siera's!!" one of the guards saw her arrival with a foreign teenage boy who were walking towards them.

His loud voice attracted all the attention of the other guards. They quickly gathered and walked towards the princess. Feeling unfamiliar with the teenager who accompanying Siera, the guards were on standby and immediately brandished their weapons while besieging Gwi. Their actions made the werewolf feel threatened and get ready to attack them.

" your majesty! Are you okay?!" asked one of the bodyguards showing his respect to Siera.

"Put down your weapons, this man came with me," said the princess firmly giving her orders to the guards.

The hordes of palace guards seemed hesitant when they saw Gwi but they could do nothing else but obey the orders of their master, Siera. They lowered the weapon they were carrying and made Gwi feel a little relaxed.

Siera walked towards her horse and gently stroked the animal to convey her guilt to the horse for leaving it for too long. After a reunion with the horse that became her best friend, Siera immediately climbed on to the horse and looked at Gwi who was stand below her.

"Gwi, will you stay with me?" asked the little girl to the werewolf.

Gwi didn't answer and only looked at the princess in silence. Seeing that there were so many bodyguards coming to look for her, Gwi realized that the little girl who had accompanied him was someone important and come from a noble family.

The teenager boy didn't understand why someone from high society like her seemed to want to bring a werewolf like him to where she lived. But remembering everything that happened between them and everything Siera did for him made the teenager always want to be with the girl. Gwi slowly nodded his head in agreement with the princess' words.

"Give him a horse, he is wounded." commanded Siera to the guards. At that moment one of the guards led a horse and gave the rope he was holding to Gwi. The teenager rode on the back of the strong and tall horse.

"Follow me and don't get lost," Siera told Gwi before the little girl rode her horse. Siera and Gwi along with the palace guards who escorted them immediately returned to the palace at their full speed.

They arrived at the palace just as the sun was setting. Gwi was unable to contain his admiration at the magnificent palace before him, his eyes continuing to go around staring intently at every inch of the building he had never seen. Siera invites Gwi to go directly to meet the king, her father. The little girl reported what she saw in the forest to her father in great detail. The king seemed to frown when listening to the story of the strange monster seen by his daughter.

"Siera... I thank you for taking the initiative to find out what worries me, but please don't act alone and put yourself at risk... I know you're a strong and smart girl, but I don't want to see you get hurted by all of this... " The king said while stroking his eldest daughter's hair softly.

Siera seemed to be down, this was not what she wanted to hear from the king. She didn't care if she had to get hurted because of the process she takes to prove her worth. Seeing Siera's facial expression, king Hwon let out a long sigh.

"However... You did a good job Siera... Thank you, father is proud of you," said the king who was able to understand his daughter's feeling.

Siera always wanted to prove her worth for being the successor to the throne of Hwon kingdom. Especially after the queen's pregnancy that makes Siera feel threatened by the presence of her brother excistance. Siera is a responsible, intelligent and skilled children, but there are things that make the king feel anxious about the figure of his daughter who always looks perfect. Siera had a considerable ambitions to lead the kingdom. The ambition he once saw in his younger brother, Binju. The king feared that his daughter would follow Binju's path and do everything possible to ensure the royal throne was within her grasp.

"But... Who is that young man?" asked the king, hinting his eyes to Gwi, who had been standing still behind the princess.

"He was a werewolf who helped me fight the monsters in the forest," Siera said lightly revealing Gwi's true identity to her father.

Gwi appeared alert and panicked when the princess mentioned his identity as a werewolf. The king also seemed surprised to hear abut this. The society has always considered that werewolves are cruel creatures who are cursed though all decades. The community's view of werewolves is very negative. The king massaged his temple when he realized that the royal princess of Hwon had brought a werewolf into the palace. If this news is known to the wider community, then it will cause a very big commotion in the kingdom.
