Rosalind watched Islinda's body drop to the ground with a dull thump and her lips curled up in a sneer. This is why humans were not to be trusted! She had given her a way out, an easy path, but the fool made her choice and this was the consequence. 

Had Islinda agreed to leave Aldric, she would have covered up her tracks so the dark Fae prince would never be able to find her. Good thing she had not high expectations for humans and Islinda did not fail to disappoint. She let her emotions blind her and failed miserably in the end. Now, she would have to carry out Queen Maeve's orders. She had no other choice, the foolish Islinda made sure of it. 

At once, Rosalind bent over Islinda's unconscious body and began to search for the medallion. She found it hidden inside her bodice. Smart human. If only she had been smart enough to make the right decision.
