They Made Pillows Out Of Themselves

Camellia went back to the party and to her seat… If it was her destiny to be with the cursed Monarch then she would.

The wedding finally took place and although it took some time, she finally got married to the Monarch.

Some time after the wedding, The Monarch stood up and then walked towards Camellia's father 'King Justin'

Monarch, "Your highness... since the wedding is over, I think it's time we both leave for the kingdom of Kalis."

Hearing that, The king nodded and then said, "Yes you are right." Saying that, he looked at his wife the Queen and she immediately knew what he meant.

She then instructed some of her maids on what to do and then walked towards camellia.

Placing her hands on Camellia's shoulder, she said, "Camellia...since it was your decision to marry the Monarch, I won't blame you.. All I just want to say is that you should keep your powers well hidden from the Monarch and the emperor."

Queen Suzi, "I know a friend there who is a witch....once you arrive at Kalis, find a way to go to a jewelry trade store....called 'Mentic'.... there you will tell them that you are there to meet 'Lora'. they will ask for a secret code and you will tell them 'the heart of stone' do you understand?"

Hearing her mother's words, Camellia nodded and hugged her mom tight, "Okay Mother!"

After the whole farewell from her family and friends, Camellia then made her way to the carriage where she and her new husband were going to ride together.

As she reached the stair of the carriage...she then saw long, beautiful hands which reached out to her. It was Logan.

Staring at his hands for some time, camellia finally took hold of it and he carried her up to the carriage.

She took her seat and he then entered after her. After they were both seated, the carriage started to move and Camellia waved her family goodbye from the windows.

Throughout the trip Camellia was quiet and kept on thinking about all that had happened today.

She didn't just realize that she had magic, she was also now married to the Monarch.

She took a quick glance at him and quickly removed her face. She had to say that he was really handsome.

With his jet-black, silky hair cascading down his shoulders, he exuded an air of dark allure. His eyes, reminiscent of a rich cup of coffee, bore into the soul of anyone who dared to meet his gaze.

His fair skin, flawlessly pale like freshly fallen snow, only accentuated his rugged handsomeness. Like a being conjured straight from folklore, he possessed an otherworldly charm. Dressed in a historical ensemble befitting a king, he effortlessly merged regality and urban sophistication.

The outfit, though steeped in tradition, had been modernized for convenience, allowing him to sit comfortably within the confines of a luxurious carriage.

The garments he adorned spoke volumes about his extravagant taste. A tailored royal blue frock coat, adorned with intricate gold embroidery, hugged his broad shoulders, perfectly accentuating his muscular frame. Beneath it, a pristine ivory-colored shirt, embellished with delicate lace, accentuated his chiseled jawline.

There was an undeniable magnetism surrounding him as he reclined in the luxurious carriage. Dark, enigmatic, and elegant, he emanated an air of tantalizing mystery. His presence commanded the attention of men and women alike, bewitching them with his devilish allure.

(Logan POV)

I could see she took a few glances at me but I had just stood still and let her look at him as much as she wanted.

She then turned her face to the other side and I could tell that she was lost in her thoughts.

She seemed occupied with her thoughts that she even dozed off and mistakenly placed her head on my shoulder.

As her small head landed on my shoulder, I just sat still. I turned my head to look at her and then my heart started racing.

Her face was so close to me that I didn't know what to do....but I still couldn't remove her head seeing how tired she looked.

Some time later I also fell asleep and rested my head on her...and that was how we made a resting pillow out of one another.

Few hours later, Logan woke up to the sound of rain...and then the carriage suddenly stopped.

A guard then came towards his window and the Said, "Your highness....it looks like the rain is gonna be heavy, I don't think it would be safe for us to keep going."

Hearing that, Logan looked outside and then at Camellia, "Ok then....take us to any nearby inn to stay for the night...we can continue our journey tomorrow."

Hearing that, the guard bowed and said, "Yes your highness." saying that, he left and went back to his post.

They then took them to a nearby inn and as they arrived, Logan came down from the carriage.

Carried Camellia in his arms and then entered the inn.

They had already reserved a room for him and camellia so he carried her to their room.

Camellia was fast asleep that she didn't Even know when she was lifted by him.

As he entered the room, he then placed her gently on the soft mattress.

He then called out to some maids and they quickly came in, "Your highness." They said as they bowed their heads.

Logan, "change her clothes into something comfortable and assist her in anything she needs."

Hearing that, they nodded, "Yes your highness." With that, Logan turned to take a last look at Camellia and then left the room.

The maids did as they were told and got Camellia dressed.

Few hours later, Camellia opened her eyes and she then felt the soft texture of the mattress.

She looked around her and saw that she was in a room....and the first thought that came to her mind was, 'Could I be in the Kalis palace.'

Well of course she rubbed that thought off since the room looked normal and ordinary.

She knew well enough that the kingdom of Kalis was very rich and wealthy so the bedrooms could have been more extravagant than this.

The room was adorned with exquisite wooden furnishings, each piece crafted with precision and artistry. A sturdy four-poster bed, carved intricately with delicate motifs, stood majestically in the center.

Its wooden frame, having gracefully withstood the test of time, showcased a rich patina that spoke volumes about its longevity and enduring charm.

A matching wooden wardrobe, adorned with ornate detailing, stood proudly against one wall. Its doors, embellished with hand-carved patterns, reflected the mastery and dedication of the craftsmen of centuries past. Within its sturdy confines, treasured garments and heirlooms found their rightful place, their stories echoing within the wooden walls.

A quaint wooden writing desk, positioned beneath a window that overlooked a serene landscape, beckoned with inspiration. Its smooth surface, worn in places where countless stories were penned, bore witness to creativity and introspection. The gentle creak of the wooden chair provided a soothing soundtrack to the rustle of paper and the scratching of a quill.

Illuminating the room were softly glowing wooden lamps, casting a warm and comforting radiance throughout the space. Their carved, filigree patterns danced on the walls, casting shadows reminiscent of whispers from the past.

She looked down at her dress and then figured out that she wasn't in her wedding dress anymore.

She now wore a white nightgown and her hair was dressed and nicely brushed.

She didn't remember taking a bath or changing so she was confused.

Just then the door opened and a woman in a maids uniform entered.

Mary, "Good evening your highness....you are now awake, that's good."

Seeing her, Camellia was a little surprised, "Umm....who are you and where am I?"

Putting down the tray she held in her hands, Mary then said, "Well your highness....it was raining heavily so his highness instructed that we stay at an inn at the capital and continue our journey to the kingdom tomorrow."

Hearing that, Camellia nodded and then said, "Ok....well how did I get here and my clothes....H-how did..."

Mary, "His highness carried you to your room and as for your clothes, he instructed us to get you changed."

Hearing that, Camellia nodded...she didn't know that the Monarch could be this caring.

Camilla, "Ok them.....umm thank you Ahhh... what's your name again?" She asked.

Smiling, Mary then said, "My name is 'Mary' your highness... I'm the personal Maid assigned to you by his highness."

Camellia, "Really....well it's nice to meet you Mary."

Mary, "The pleasure is mine, your highness." She said with a smile as she bowed slightly.

Mary then carried the tray up and then said to Camellia, "Your highness...I brought you a cup of lemon tea, I'm sure you will love it."

Hearing that, Camellia smiled and said, "Ok thank you Mary."

Mary, "No problem your highness.... dinner will be ready soon, so have some rest."

Saying that, Mary placed the tray in the table, bowed to Camellia and left.

Some time later.... Camellia was called on to eat.

She left her room with some Maids and they directed her to the dining table where she and Logan were going to have their dinner.

As she got there, she saw Logan...he looked as handsome as ever as he read the newsletter in his hands.

As she came in front of the table, she then bent down in courtesy and said, "Good evening My Lord."

Hearing that, Logan placed his newsletter down and then looked at her.

He stared at her with his black coffee eyes and she stared at him back.

He then said, "Evening Princess Camellia...you can have your seat "

Camellia nodded and then sat down.

They were served and so they started eating...it was so quiet and only the sound of their plates and forks clicking could be heard.

After she was done eating, Camellia cleaned her mouth and then looked at Logan, "Thank you for carrying to my room....I dozed off because I didn't sleep well last night and I was a little tired."

,"No need to thank me....I did what I had to do as your husband and anyway, I also dozed off."

Logan the stood up from his seat and then said, " Since I'm done eating, I'll take my leave now.... tomorrow we will leave for Kalis, so get enough rest."

With that, Camellia stood up from her seat and bowed to him before he left.
