Chapter Seven

Luis and I both alighted from our flight to the city of Munich in Germany we were greeted by a representative of the club.

"Good day my name is Frank and I am your guide and a representative of the club. Your meeting is scheduled for two hours time i am to help you with anything you might need" while he was saying all this we were being escorted to a waiting car 

"Thank you for your hospitality we do not need anything so we are content with waiting till our meeting time" I informed him of our decision to wait till our meeting time 

" I understand but while we wait you are offered a tour of our facilities and grounds" he offered and we agreed with him 

Two hours later and our meeting with Bayern's sporting director Mathias Sammer was about to begin we were escorted to a conference room where Mathias was seated he stood up to shake my hand and we both took a seat

"Congratulations on your recent purchase of a great club like United the news was surely a surprise" he started out the conversation 

"Thank you, I thought the time was right to take over I wasn't impressed with the Glazers and their management" I informed him and he nodded his head in understanding 

" I would like to get into the thick of it and request why you are here or more like who brought you here" he decided to get things out of the way 

" we would like to introduce Toni Kroos to our squad" I informed him of who we were interested in acquiring and he went quiet in consideration 

"while we could be open to negotiations our new coach has made a request he be kept for the season" he countered 

"If he truly valued Kroos he wouldn't be trying to introduce Gotze into his squad for a sizable fee they both can't play together at least not for long" I countered and he also considered his options so I decided to drop my first offer 

" we're willing to offer £20 million in transfer fees and as a one time payment" he was visibly surprised at the offer and it was evident in his facial expression 

"I don't believe the offer is sufficient enough we require £ 30 million for Toni Kroos" he countered it seemed he's trying to test the waters and get as much as he could 

"While I believe the amount you are requesting for is excessive but we are willing to compromise in addition to the £ 20 million we will include an additional £ 5 million if we win the premier League in 2 years" I countered his offer and he seemed to consider the offer 

"the offer seems sufficient so we will agree you're free to approach him and discuss a contract with him. It was nice doing business with you" we shook hands and we left the room me heading to the airport and Luis to discuss with Kroos on his contract i had a flight to catch to secure a Strikers signature
