In the middle of the three. A woman with extreme beauty with jet-black hair and purple eyes like the night sky, she was wearing a beautiful black dress with a bit of purple.

The woman was surrounded by 2 beautiful woman in red robes, but their beauty couldn't be compared to the woman in black dress, truly comparison is a bitch.

"Maam! Why are you doing this? Please return back into the camp." A woman to the left asked the beautiful woman in black dress.

"I already told you, it is just on a whim and I'll do whatever I want." The beautiful woman arrogantly replied and glared coldly at the woman, a black aura burst from the beautiful woman's body.

"Yes. S-sorry." The woman apologized, feeling the glare and the pressure from the Beautiful woman.

The face of the other woman in the right twisted in fear, also feeling the pressure from the beautiful woman.

The beautiful woman ceased her glare at the woman and continued walking nonchalantly in the ruined road.

Looking around, the beautiful woman saw a boy walking towards them in unsteady steps.

Looking closely, the child was extremely cute with jet-black hair and crimson red eyes, she also noticed the child covered in dirt and wounds, but it did not degrade its cute appearance.

'In the future this child will probably turn into a handsome young man when he grows up.' The beautiful woman commented, seeing the child's appearance.

"Oh?" The beautiful looked in curiosity to the approaching child.

The beautiful woman's purple eyes glowed brightly, suddenly. The beautiful woman's calm expression change into surprise.

When the child got close enough, he requested something unexpected unbefitting for its age.

"Please...Kill me."

"Mm?"

Hearing the childs request, the beautiful woman froze in shock, she gaze at the child's cold and indifferent eyes, and felt nostalgic.

'Nostalgic?'

The woman was confused, but a hidden memory resurfaced, she was looking at the mirror that reflected herself, her eyes the same as the child that stood before her, cold and indifferent.

She remembered she hated the world and everything around her; she wanted to die and left this cursed world.

A small smile slowly spread on her face.

Seeing the small smile on the beautiful woman's face, the two people beside her froze in shock.

"Why do you want me to kill you?"

The beautiful woman squat on the ground and looked at the child straight in the eyes, her eyes brimming with curiosity.

The woman removed her black thin gloves on her right hand, revealing her delicate snow-white hands.

She reached out, and caressed the small child's right cheek with her right hand and asked again, in a calm voice.

"Again, why do you want me to kill you?"

Feeling the gentle touch of the woman, tears fell down on the child's right cheek into the woman's hand.

Without it knowing why, the child shouted, his voice filled with pain, confusion, and hatred.

"I hate them! Why does everyone hate me? WHY ARE THEY HURTING AND BULLYING ME?! I DID NOTHING TO THEM!"

"Why do they hate me!?...Hic!...I did nothing to them!"

"I want it to stop… They said If I died, they will stop."

On the end, the child broke down into tears.

Seeing that, the woman embraced the child, and gently whispered.

"It's okay, it is okay now, don't worry they won't hurt you anymore, as long as I'm here."

Hearing that, the child stopped crying and looked at her.

"Really?"

"Yes." The beautiful woman smile gently and nodded.

The two people that followed the beautiful woman spiraled deeper into confusion, seeing as the usual cold, and indifferent woman acting gentle.

"Now, would you tell me your name?" The woman asked and slowly let go of the child from her embrace.

"Alex Maxwell." The child replied, as he wipe away his tears.

"Alex, that's a good name, I'm Alicia Von Rosefild."

The woman introduced herself as Alicia.

"Did you stop crying?" Alicia asked.

"Yes." Alex nodded.

"To your request of killing you, I decline." Alicia said.

"Why?" Alex asked full of confusion.

"Because I don't kill children." Alicia asked.

"No." Alex dropped to his knees looked in the ground fell into despair.

"Alex, hear me out." Alicia told him.

"What is it?" Alex looked up to her and asked.

"I want you to live, even though you suffered, I don't want you to die hating this world. Even though there is a lot of evil, there's also a lot of good. You just haven't found them yet, so I want you to live." Alicia said while looking at him straight in the eyes.

"If there is, why did they not help me?" Alex softly asked.

"I don't know too." Alicia replied.

"But I know there is kind people in this world." Alicia confidently said.

"Okay." Alex nodded.

Even though he just met her, Alex could not help but believe her.

"But I don't have any place to call home, my father was killed by men wearing armor and my home was destroyed." Alex explained.

"If that's the case, then live with me." Alicia suggest with a gentle smile on her face.

"Can I?" Alex asked.

"Yes." Alicia nodded.

"Huh?! Ma'am! You can't do that! This kid is from an enemy kingdom! The Royal Family will surely be mad at you!" One of the woman rebuked, hearing what Alicia said.

"I do what I want; they can't do anything to me." Alicia said and glared at the woman.

The woman in red robes froze, she could not say anything, what Alicia said is correct, the kingdom couldn't do anything to her.

Alicia's fame was spread throughout the world, she was also one of the strongest in the whole world.

Alicia was only in this kingdom due to a promise she had to fulfill.

"Wait for a moment."

"Water come forth: Cleanse the impurity of the one before me [Cleanse]!"

Alicia chanted, her purple eyes glowed with a blue tint. Water appeared in thin air and surrounded Alex's whole body, removing all the dust, dirt and blood on his clothes and body.

"Huh!? What's happening?"

"Huh?"

Alex glance at Alicia his eyes full of question, seeing the stains covering his whole body suddenly disappearing.

"Not done yet."

Alicia said with a small smile, she put her hand in Alex's head and began chanting again.

"Light Come Forth: Shower the one before me with your divine radiance! [Heal]!"

Light escaped from Alicia's hand and covered Alex whole body, in a fast rate. The wounds on Alex was slowly disappearing, in the blink of an eye. All of Alex's wounds was gone.

"Wow!"

Alex looked at his whole body, before looking at Alicia with admiration.

"How did you do that?" Alex asked.

"Wait, do you know what Magic is?"

Alicia asked with a frown on her face. Because there is no way a child does not know what Magic is, unless they are sheltered and was block from any contact with Magic.

"I know what Magic is; they just haven't taught me any of it."

Alex quickly explained seeing the frown on her face, fearing she might leave him due to not knowing anything.

"I see, and don't worry I won't leave you to not knowing it, I'm not that kind of person."

Alicia spoke in a gentle voice, immediately destroying his fears upon noticing it.

Alex sighed in relief, hearing what Alicia said.

"I'll teach you Magic later, for now. Let's leave this place."

"Hup!"

Alicia lifted Alex up and put him on her right shoulder.

"Hah?"

Suddenly being placed in her shoulder, Alex froze.

"Let's go."

Alicia spoke then silently chanted.

"Wind come forth: Take the form of freedom and guide me to the sky. [Wind Wings]!"

The wind in the back of Alicia swirled then transformed into transparent wings of wind.

"Hup!"

The wind wings on Alicia back flapped, and then brought her to the sky, blowing away everything around her.

"Ngh!" The woman in red robes groaned and endured the wind pressure.

"Whoah!"

Alex let out a sound of admiration, seeing the ground below him.

When he look in front of him, a beautiful sight of a sea of clouds and the setting sun greeted him.

"Beautiful right?" Alicia asked with a gentle smile.

"Yes." Alex nodded.

"The world may have some ugliness, it also contain beauty everywhere. You just have to look for them." Alicia spoke, while also admiring the scenery.

The air around them was quiet but peaceful, while they admire the scenery in front of them.

A few moments later.

"Done looking?" Alicia asked.

"Yes." Alex replied.

"Then, let's go to my temporary place." Alicia said.

*Boom!

She flapped her wings of wind and flew, breaking the sound barrier. Alicia flied in the speed of sound; she also constructed an invisible shield in front of them, for blocking air resistance.

In the blink of an eye, they saw dozen of camps set around in the distance.

"We'll be staying in there for a while."

Alicia spoke, while glancing at the camp in the distance.

"Do you hate them?" Alex asked.

"No, they just annoy me a bit." Alicia replied.

"Really, you look like you hate them." Alex said, not believing her words.

"Yes, now stop asking me question."

Alicia said, flicking Alex forehead.

'I can't explain it to him; he's too young, maybe when he gets older then. He's also surprisingly sharp for his age.' Alicia thought, hearing what he said.

Alicia stop flying, when she arrived high up of the camp, then slowly descended to center of the camp.

The wind wings on her back disappeared, when her feet touched the ground in front of the biggest tent.

Alicia slowly dropped Alex on the ground.

"Mm!"

Alex stretched for a bit, when his feet touched the ground.

"Welcome back-"

A man with a cold face in his 20's, wearing a black coat and a black military uniform, emerged from the tent, seeing Alicia; a gentle look replaced his cold face.

The man greeted her but quickly stopped seeing Alex beside her.

"Alicia, who is that child?" The man questioned, pointing at Alex.

"I'm going to take him as my apprentice." Alicia said, not answering his question.

"Huh? Apprentice? You mean that child?" The man said.

"Yes." Alicia replied.

"Where did you find him?" The man asked, a frown appearing on his face.

"In the territory of the enemy kingdom." Alicia answered.

"I didn't permit you to leave the camp." The man snarled.

"So?" Alicia glared at the man.

"Remember, I'm only in this kingdom due to a favor. So don't push any of my buttons." Alicia coldly said, her face going cold.

"Don't order me around." She added.

"Alex, let's go."

Alicia turned to Alex and said, her cold face gone, instead, replaced by a gentle one.

After saying that, Alicia ignored the man and head to her tent.

Alex glance at the man before following Alicia.

'She's so arrogant! If not for her strength, I will make her regret on how she treats me.' The man thought, looking at Alicia and Alex back who was walking away.

"Did something happened between you two?" Alex asked, while gazing at the man.

"Nothing, I just hate his guts." Alicia replied.

"Were here."

They stood in front of a black tent, Alicia pushed open the entrance and entered inside, Alex followed suit.

"Sit there." Alicia ordered, pointing at the kind size bed.

Alex nodded and sat on the king size bed.

The room only has a king size bed, a table and a bookshelf. Alex concluded upon looking around.

"Have you eaten anything yet?" Alicia asked.

"No." Alex replied.

"I only have an apple right now, so eat this for the moment."

Alicia looked at the table; only a handful of apple was placed on top of the nearly empty table.

She walked towards it, grabbed one apple and threw it to Alex.

"Thanks." Alex caught the apple and thanked Alicia.

Alex began eating the apple while gazing at Alicia.

"Can you tell me about your family?" Alicia asked.

'I need to know what happened to him, so I can help with his trauma.' Alicia inwardly said.

Alex stared at the ground and stayed quiet.

'Looks like I'm too hasty, he only met me a while ago after all.' Alicia thought, seeing Alex staying quiet.

"Alright you don't need to answer-"

"My father was a low-level noble, while my mother was the daughter of a large company owner."

Alicia was shocked hearing Alex speak.

Not minding her reaction, Alex continued to speak.

"Since birth I haven't seen my mother, I found a few years ago that she died giving birth to me. I only heard that, my father fell in love with my mother when he was 16.

"While the servant was talking, I overheard them say that my mother has a weak body.

"I also heard that my father deeply love my mother, so when she died giving birth to me. Father hated me ever since.

"If only I haven't been born, mother will probably be alive now. She also probably hate's me."

Alex said the last part in quiet voice, his voice full of a mix with sadness and self-hate.

Alicia sighed, hearing what Alex said. She walked towards Alex.

"Mm?"

Alex looked at the approaching Alicia.

Suddenly, when Alicia got in front of Alex. She suddenly embraced him.

"What?"

Alex was shocked, feeling Alicia's breast on his face. He almost reflexively wanted to push Alicia away, but stopped hearing her gentle voice right next to his ear and her hands caressing his head.

"Don't say that, your mother probably knows the danger of giving birth to you, the reason she did so is because she loves you. No mother will ever give birth to child they don't love, so don't say that, she will be sad if she heard you say that."

"Really?" Alex asked, pushing her a bit and looking at her straight in the eyes.

"Yes." Alicia confidently replied.

"I hope so." Alex muttered, burying his face at Alicia's ample bossom.

The air around them was peaceful; Alex was not saying anything just staying quiet enjoying Alicia's presence.

"Enjoying it?" Alicia asked with a teasing smile, looking at Alex who was burying his head to her chest.

"Ah! No!" Alex immediately denied, escaping from her embrace.

Alex whole face was red due to embarrassment.

Alicia giggled seeing Alex reaction.

"Can you tell me more?" Alicia asked.

Alex hesitated but continue his story earlier.

"Due to mother dying after giving birth, father started hating me, unlike the others. He did not hurt me but he chose to ignore me and just left me alone, causing other's to abuse me and become their plaything."

"Due to father ignoring me and leaving me alone, I was not able to go to school and learn Magic, so I did not know my affinity, but I did learn a bit of Magic while studying in the library in the house.

"I only learned of its existence because I saw a servant use on, so I know about Magic but I don't know a lot of it.

"That's my answer to your question earlier.

Alicia quickly fell into thought, hearing about Alex's past.

'So this is the reason for his lack of knowledge about Magic, he has monstrous talent for it and I don't trust the kingdom's competent for teaching him, so I will be the one who will teach him.'

"Do you want to learn your affinity?" Alicia asked.

"Yes, but how can you do that?" Alex replied.

"Alex, remember this, with my level of strength, this is a piece of cake." Alicia proudly said.

"So do you want to learn or not?" Alicia asked; annoyance could be heard from her voice.

"Yes!" Alex eagerly nodded, ever since he learned about the existence of Magic, he was always intrigue about it.

"Let me check again."

Alicia's purple eyes shone brightly and looked at Alex.

Feeling her gaze, Alex felt his entire being and secret exposed in full glory.

"Mm. Done!" Alicia muttered, her eyes turning back to normal.

"So, what is it?" Alex excitedly asked.

Alex was gonna know his affinity so he is excited.

"But first do you know what an Affinity is?" Alicia asked.

"Nothing, I only heard that an Affinity is required to use Magic." Alex replied.

"If that's the case, then let me explain." Alicia said then started explaining.

An Affinity is a beings connection to the laws of reality, like Fire and other things, without an affinity a person can't use Magic based on that, an Affinity like [Wind] is required for [Wind Magic], also a person who doesn't have any Affinity to anything doesn't directly translate to them not being able to use Magic.

There are specific Magic created to people who does not have any affinity.

There are 6 Elemental Affinity and those are:

Fire.

Water.

Wind.

Earth.

Light.

And lastly Dark.

There are other types of Affinity but there called special Affinity.

And there are:

Magma

Space.

Death.

Thunder/Lightning.

Gravity.

Destruction.

Lastly Creation.

Creation and Destruction is the rarest Affinity there is. There is 1 in a billion chance for a person with this Affinity to appear.

There are currently eight recorded sighting of this happening has been recorded in the entire history of this world.

Researchers said that there are probably more affinity.

A person who has three Affinity is considered talented everywhere. A person who has four or more is considered a genius everywhere.

"And you have 4 Affinity, you're a genius. I'm proud of you!" Alicia praised.

"What are those?" Alex asked, feeling happy due to her praise.

"It's Fire, Light, Space and Death." Alicia said.

"It's already rare for a person to have four Affinity, you have two special Affinity out of these four." Alicia spoke astonished.

"Then what's yours then? And how many are them?" Alex asked.

"Mm, I have six Affinity's, and those are Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, Light and lastly Dark." Alicia answered.

'I also have Creation, but it's probably too early for me to say it, and it might endanger his life.' Alicia inwardly said

"So basically you have every Elemental Affinity." Alex concluded upon hearing her answer.

"Yes."

"Also, I'm going to be the one teaching you." Alicia said.

"Huh?"

Even though Alex was confused, he nodded and accepted it.

"Do you want more apple?" Alicia asked, upon noticing him finish his apple.

"Yes." Alex nodded.

Hearing that, Alicia grabbed another one and thrown it to Alex.

"Thanks." Alex said receiving the apple and eating eat.

Alicia walked towards him and sat beside him in the bed.

"Do you know what Mana is?" Alicia asked.

"A little bit."

"If that's the case, I'll explain it for you." Alicia said and started explaining.

Mana is the source of power to activate any Magic. Mana is present everywhere and in everything to a living being to an object, there is nothing in the world that does not have Mana.

"Get it?" Alicia asked upon finishing her explanation.

"Yes." Alex nodded.

"Also, what should I call you?" Alex asked.

"Call me Alicia." Alicia answered.

"Okay, so how do I get stronger?" Alex asked.

"What did I explain earlier?" Instead of answering, Alicia asked a question.

"Mana is everywhere to any living being to any object." Alex answered.

"Right, like I said earlier there is Mana in everything around the world, so there is also inside you. I want you to focus your mind and search your whole body, if you searched enough, you will be able to sense the Mana inside you. After that you will see Mana scattered around your whole, I want you to gather all of them in your stomach in the shape of a ball." Alicia explained.

'My explanation sucks! I was told in the past that I suck at explaining but I didn't know it's this bad!' Alicia inwardly said, hearing her own explanation.

"Here let's have you take a taste of Mana, so you can sense it easier." Alicia said.

She pressed her index finger to Alex's forehead, after doing that, she gathered a little bit of Mana in her index finger letting it flow to Alex's whole body.

Suddenly, Alex felt a familiar but unfamiliar energy spread throughout his whole body.

"What is this? It feels familiar bit it's not." Alex said, describing what he feels about the energy.

"I want you to familiarize with Mana, after that I want you focus your whole mind and empty it to sense it around you. If you can do that, you can do what I told you earlier." Alicia instructed.

Alex nodded and did what's instructed, he focused on his mind and removed every thought in his mind, after he felt it's enough. Alex tried to sense the energy earlier around him.

1..2..3..4..5 Minutes later.

Slowly, Alex started sensing the Mana around him, he slowly opened his eyes and saw thousands or more of transparent light surrounding him.

Alex looked at them in curiosity, feeling his gaze the transparent light dance around him in joy.

Seeing that Alex reached out wanting to touch them.

Alicia poured Mana on her eyes making it shone brightly, after that she watched Alex.

'Did he fail?' Alicia inwardly asked, seeing Alex slowly opened his eyes.

'I'll just have him try it again, after all it's not easy to sense Mana.' Alicia thought.

When she saw Alex reaching out to something, she was shocked seeing the Mana dancing around him.

Alicia found herself in more shock seeing the Mana surrounding his hand that was reaching out for something.

Alex smiled gently, feeling the Mana surrounding his hand.

'He really is a monster, it took him five minutes to sense Mana, though I can't say anything. It only took me about 30 minutes.' Alicia inwardly said, a wry smile appearing on his face.

"Did you finally sense Mana?" Alicia asked.

Alex nodded playing around with the Mana around him.

"Let's play later." Alex gently told them.

After saying that, Alex did what Alicia instructed earlier.

'This brat seem to be loved by Mana.' Alicia inwardly said, her eyebrows twitching a bit.

Alex focused his mind, and sensed the Mana on his body. After seeing them, Alex began to gather them on his stomach.

'Huh?'

Alex frowned seeing a small amount of Mana on his whole body, moving slowly at a turtles pace to his stomach.

Alicia giggled seeing the frown on Alex's cute face.

'Alex even though compared to others, you seem late doing this, but with your talent, you will be able to reach my strength and maybe surpassed me in a few years.'

'Also I hope this will teach you patients and determination, if you don't have these two you will not get stronger. A strength or power that is easy to obtain is not worth anything.' Alicia inwardly said.

Alicia was watching the Mana on Alex's body slowly moving to his stomach.

1..2..3 hours later.

'What is his motivation for getting stronger? I did not ask him, what is pushing him to do this? A person just cannot do it just because somebody told them to. Normally a person will give up after an hour.' Alicia thought.

Alicia was watching the process of Alex.

'His Mana veins if forming.' Alicia thought.

Nearly all of his Mana gather in his stomach in the shape of a ball, the nearly formed Mana Core started releasing string of Mana that traveled on his whole body and transformed into something like a vein beside his blood vein.

'A Mana Vein is formed alongside the Mana Core when it's being formed inside their body. A Mana Vein is like a blood vein, it distribute Mana throughout the whole body, spreading Mana on his whole body, supporting and strengthening it.' Alicia inwardly said.

After an hour later, Alex Mana Vein fully formed after forming his Mana Core for 4 continuous hours.

'It's nearly done.' Alicia inwardly said, seeing Alex guide the last bit of Mana on his body to his Mana Core.

When the last bit of Mana fused with his nearly formed Mana Core. A transparent Aura with a mix of red, yellow, grey and silver burst from Alex body.

The Mana Core's color changed from a transparent to pitch black. Suddenly, it started absorbing Mana from the atmosphere around him. When it was unable to absorb more, the Mana Core spread the absorb Mana on his whole body.

'It's time.' Alicia inwardly said.

In Alicia's eyes, Alex's whole body started a process of breaking down and repaired due to Mana, the reason for this event because of his whole body unable to endure the surge of Mana entering his body.

"Gah! Aaah! Haaaah!'

Alex screamed in pain and dropped to the ground and started rolling around, blood flowing out of his whole body.

In the blink of an eye, Alex was rolling around in his own pool of blood. His already thin body got thinner and his white skin dried up, his body was so thin the outline of his bones of his body show outside. Alex looked like a dried up corpse.

Suddenly, Alex started getting fatter, his skin got smother. He also got cuter, which Alicia found unbelievable.

When Alicia checked his body, she found his body looked like a child his age, which cause to sigh in relief, when she checked his chest, she felt his muscle get harder and his skin got smoother.

When she tried to wake him up, she found out Alex knocked unconscious.

"I'll let him rest for a bit, Alex. Welcome to the world of Magic, you are now a Rank 1 Mage." Alicia said to the unconscious Alex.
