Rule No 1

Butler Gu was shocked, had the word got out so fast about Madam. If it made this monster come out to light, from the depths of Hell, that meant a very powerful storm was brewing outside and coming towards them. He was deeply worried, the balance Master had established in the Lu family was about to collapse. Is this a manoeuvre of his Great Grandfather? If it was, it could be fatal to Lu Ye Ze.

Lu Yehan, looked at the girl intently, he hadn't suspected his younger step brother to take a liking to a Caucasian girl, who was she? Where was she from? He wondered and decided to head to the garden to meet this girl.

Jo was engrossed in her gardening work and hadn't noticed that a strange man was approaching her. He stood three steps a way from her, Jo saw him with the corner of her eye and got startled.

"Sorry have I startled you?" the man said.

The girl looked at him puzzled who was this guy, she hadn't seen him before, but from his appearance and mannerism, he didn't seem to be a member of the mansion's staff. Alarm bells started ringing in the girls head... rule no 1!!! Rule no 1. Jo turned around swiftly, her gaze cast into the distance like he was just air and went towards the house. Sensing that the man was following her, she hurried her step and entered through the staff door, then ran quickly upstairs into her room and locked the door behind her. Who was that man, what did he wanted from her.

Seeing the girls reaction, the man chuckled softly. "Go! Run away little lamb... we have plenty of time to get to know each other". The man got in his car and left the estate.

Butler Gu went upstairs and knocked on the girl's door. Jo was looking through the window at the car that was disappearing into the distance, when a knocking sound at the door, frightened her. She stumbled in her steps and knocked down the little side table by the armchair, on the ground. The vase placed on it, fell on the ground and shattered.

Hearing the commotion from the outside, Butler Gu was worried. "Madam it is me! Are you alright? Please open the door!". Hearing the familiar voice, Jo calmed down and hurriedly unlocked the door.

Butler Gu breathed a sigh of relieve when he saw the girl was fine, he made a call for a maid to clean the pieces of broken glass on the floor.

"Madam, please stay far away from that man, I have sent word for the Master and he will be returning tonight, rest assured he will protect you!"

Jo looked at the Butler with a puzzled face "he will protect me?!" , she rather felt that she was snatched from the claws of a devil and handed to Satan himself. Her poor little soul was suffering so much.

"Had he threatened you?" Butler Gu asked.

"I don't know" Jo replied, "I don't speak Chinese... By the way, is there someone that could teach me?" The girl asked the Butler.

"Do you want to learn?" Butler Gu asked in surprise.

"Why not! If my life is bound to end in this country, I might know as well the reason why"
