His Departure

An hour later, He Mufeng delivered the food and a clean set of clothes for Lu Ye Ze. At the dining table the couple was having lunch.

"I have to go back this afternoon!" Said the man looking at her intently.

Jo lifted her head from her plate. She knew this is what was coming for her, sooner or later. She had thought the whole night about his departure. Her eyes saddened instantly, she took a deep breath and wanted to reply, but the man cut her off.

"I am planing to bring you back with me!"

Jo looked at him, her face suddenly brightened and replied nonchalantly.

"Okay" Then she continued eating her lunch.

Lu Ye Ze was stunned, he expected her to refute, but surprisingly, she was willing to follow him back to China, leaving her life behind. He smiled, took a strand of her hair and tucked it behind her ear.

His eyes carried an immense amount of adoration, kindness and care. Deep within his heart he promised her his whole life, his unlimited protection and his unconditional support.

Jo looked at him lovingly, "from this day forward I belong to you, I will love you and I will always stand by you". The girl whispered to his heart as well.

The room was silent, but their hearts were loud, beating for the first time in unison.

Two days later, Lin Yan was seated at a table, in a private room, on the mezzanine level of Kew Gardens Resort. Shortly after her arrival, a young lady entered her private room. She was dressed in a sapphire middy straight dress, her hair was pinned loosely at the back of her head and she wore a natural make-up. The black diamond earrings, were sparkling subtly under the dim light of the room. She wore a pair of black velvet stiletto, while a synthetic delicate fur coat was resting on her shoulders.

Lin Yan took a sip of her tea, while observing the new delicate woman figure, approaching her table.

Jo was surprised to see her already here, she had arrived early herself, but her mother in law, had been a step faster and still arrived before her. Jo took the seat opposite from Lin Yan.

"Madam Lu! Thank you for accepting my invitation!" Said the girl politely.

Lin Yan nodded in response. She looked at this young girl before her, who had been willing to follow her son unconditionally. This girl, who had put her's and her son's bad treatment and judgement aside and was willing to give them a second chance. Lin Yan was deeply moved by her call and she didn't took this meeting lightly.

Jo studied the woman's expression. Surprisingly her aura had changed since she last saw her and she didn't feel any trace of resilience in her mother's in law eyes, anymore.

Jo let out a sigh of relief and continued. "I am deeply saddened about Wei Wei's sudden departure, she was very dear to me and I will always remember her gentle smile!"

"Thank you!" Replied Lin Yan her eyes instantly watering.

"I have asked you to meet me here today, because I want to try to know you better and if you are willing, for you to know a little about me as well.

I have accepted your son's feelings, as I do have feelings for him myself and also for me, marriage is the most important and precious union.

I want to give us another chance!" Said Jo, while sliding on the table, a piece of folded dated paper, towards her.
