20 20. Wounds never heal

I spent a few nights at a local hotel and found that I had been miserable without them so I had decided to go back and by then Elton had decided that I would stay there as the babies nanny and I will be nothing to him. Even though it killed me I had accepted his decision because I wanted to be apart of my daughters life so I could love her and treat her well. I wanted to always protect her so that she did not become a victim of abuse as I had.

I spent the rest of my time there taking care of Riannah who is three and a half years old now. Elton rarely ever speaks to me and I understand that he offered me to be a part of his life and he had opened up a space in his heart for me and I had crushed him by refusing him yet he provided me with a bank account into which he transfers money into every month as a salary of which I rarely ever touch unless I have to.

All of baby Ria's needs are taken care of by him before it is even mentioned. RIA never runs short on !anything and he always ensures that she has the best.

A few weeks ago I had received a call from Eddie who had stolen my number from Milans phone inviting me over as he had thought of including me in an intimate surprise party for Milans seventeenth birthday and realization hit me that maybe Denton will try to do the same to her that is why I had been continuosly reminding her to take care of herself.

Later that month Milan had called me to inform of her going to college and I had become upset and dropped the call remembering all that I had been through when I had wanted to go to college.

I had rushed to Elton to tell him that I needed to go back to California to see Milan. Elton is still unaware of Dentons actions just like Wesley he had been told that I had many boyfriends and I was not sure of the father.

At the time Ria had fallen ill and had to be hospitalized so I could not leave after she was discharged and the doctor said it was okay to travel we had come to California arriving on the day of Milans birthday and not wanting anyone to suspect anything Eddie had picked me up from the airport where I had left baby Ria with her father Elton and the plan was that I would join them at the hotel after the party was over.

After the party I had to call Elton and tell him that I would be staying here for the night which made him very angry and he had disconnected my call and he had rejected the rest of my calls that night causing me to feel terrible.

I had been feeling really down as I missed my baby I drifted into a deep sleep only to be awaken by the ringing of my phone and it was Elton saying that Ria was missing me and wanted to speak to me.

I had gotten off the call when I heard the doorbell and I had seen Denton and I knew something was about to happen. I stood by the window when I saw that Milan was being dragged into the house and I went downstairs with an excuse of telling them to head over with her birthday presents she had forgotten.

I quickly called Wesley who was not at home and told him to rush home as I had a feeling something really bad was about to happen. I had saved Milan from being destroyed by those evil people that night.
