I started peeling away the bandages to reveal that the wound closed over. Shronia and Purah have surprised looks on their faces.

Symin turned to Purah and Shronia.

They seem confused about the current situation. I know what's happening. As dictated by game logic, sleeping will restore health. I guess that only applies to me though since they're quite shocked that I woke up with my injuries fully healed.

It's kind of hard to take her seriously when she sounds like a child.

She did offer me the bed, it would be rude of me if I didn't accept it. Laying back down, I fell asleep.

I only slept for another hour as I usually wake up at 4:30. I was about to start the day when I noticed a head on the bed. Sitting on the floor resting her head is Shronia. She looks so precious as she snores softly. I didn't want to disturb her, so I stayed in bed a little longer today.

Today the amiibo gave me 5 ice arrows and some produce.

Now what, I wish the Sheikah Slate had recreational apps like YouTube or something like that.

That made me wonder if I could record videos with the Camera feature. After some tapping, swiping, and 3D pressing I changed the camera from photo to video mode.

Hitting record I did a quick tape of me saying "hi". I replayed the video, the definition is at least 8k, and the sound quality is better than any speaker I've ever owned. Overall it well surpasses most modern smartphones from my world.

I did this with everything. I found that 3D touching items in the inventory tab allows me to withdraw the entire category.

After playing around some more I found a systems menu, I could change the brightness, font size, and everything else a smartphone found on earth could do. One setting was rather interesting.

I press continue. Nothing changed as far as I can tell, I'll just wait for Shronia to wake up.

I brought myself to some kind of search engine. It's called the Sheikah Information Network. I'm a little disappointed in the Sheikahs, the search engine looks just like Internet Explorer. Tapping what looked like the search bar, a keyboard with Sheikah writing appeared.

Ever since coming to this world, I could read every language. The Ancient Sheikah text is no different.

I did a basic news search, articles formed long columns of websites, organizations, and blogs. Timestamps are also given, most of them are from 10,000 years and older.

Suddenly I became curious. The game does have a history of what happened a century ago. Calamity Ganon infected the Divine Beasts, the Champions tried to stop him, and Zelda confronted him alone. Oh, and Link failed and had to sleep the entire time.

We don't get much information from 10,000 years ago. All the game gives us is that during that time, technology was at its peak. What happened to its technology? Why is the present world in a Victorian era?

I searched for Executive Order 51. Most of them are older than the website I visited.

The news article continues on for a bit stating that the Gerudo's are a barbaric race and stuff like that. That's probably what started this whole race war, everyone versus the Sheikahs. On the bottom is another article.

A few hours after his speech, President Housin Ed used a satellite array and destroyed the Gerudo Capital. Instead of instilling fear among the Gerudo's they rallied among the cities and killed every Sheikah within the Gerudo Desert Region]

Whoa, it's leading to some kind of major war. This article is almost 400 years older than Executive Order 51. The other races must be winning, no wonder President Victor Scheme was worried.

Wow, so the Ancient Sheikahs didn't want to get their hands dirty so they forced the other races to fight for them. The so-called Champions, their powers are driven by enzymes when they form a blood pact with the Divine Beast.

The more I read, the more I'm glad the Ancient Sheikahs aren't around anymore. They're complete assholes.

Something ruffled beside me. Shronia is waking up.

Shronia is a Sheikah, probably not a pure Sheikah. True born Sheikahs have red eyes and white hair, Shronia only has white hair.

Why would he do this, an experiment killing hundreds of thousands to millions all in the effort to give a few Hylians elemental powers?

I'm guessing after the world collapsed every race mixed genes, that would explain Shronia.

At the bottom of the article, something very interesting caught my attention.

However, due to protests about the cruelty of 3E none have signed up to acquire these powers. With no other choice, President Woodman Zhen and his research team injected themselves with the virus to change their DNA to gain these powers. They shortly died a few hours later]
