Punishment and Agreement

After the duel ended, the representatives returned to the hall. There, Raiser was sweating and fidgeting from Eugene's stunning victory.

'Damn, that crazy demon! Even in his injured state, he can still win against Sairaorg!' Raiser thought, his face showing obvious anxiety.

Meanwhile, the other guests were still warmly talking about the dueling action they had just witnessed. Some of them approached Eugene to congratulate him on his incredible victory. On the other hand, Rias stood beside Raiser, but her gaze never left Eugene, her eyes twinkling with admiration and pride.

'I have to escape... Right, if I want my life to survive!!!' Raiser thought, panicking. He looked around restlessly, searching for an opening to escape the increasingly unfavorable situation for him.

Eugene walked up to Raiser with firm steps, his intimidating aura making everyone around him feel the tension. "Raiser," Eugene called, his voice calm yet filled with power.

Raiser swallowed, trying to maintain his composure. "W-What is it, Eugene?"

Eugene smiled slightly, his gaze sharp. "You remember our deal, don't you? I won. So, now fulfill your promise."

Raiser nodded hesitantly, his gaze occasionally glancing towards the exit. "Yes, I remember. Rias... she's free."

Rias who heard that, her eyes lit up and she immediately stepped closer to Eugene. "Eugene, thank you. You're really amazing," she said gratefully.

Eugene just nodded briefly, his gaze still focused on Raiser. "And one more thing, Raiser. Don't forget about the lemon in my storage."

Raiser was surprised to hear that, but he had no choice. "B-All right," he replied in a trembling voice.

The audience in the hall chuckled at that, breaking the tension. Eugene then turned around, walking away with Rias, leaving Raiser who looked increasingly panicked.

'I need to get out of here now,' Raiser thought. He looked around once more, searching for a way to escape the situation that was getting worse for him.

Meanwhile, Eugene and Rias walked side by side, heading towards their group of friends who greeted them with cheers and claps. Lily, Akeno, Issei, and the others smiled at seeing the two return safely.

"Eugene, you're really good!" exclaimed Akeno excitedly.

"Onii-chan is great as always!!!" exclaimed Koneko as she jumped up to hug Eugene. However, Lily immediately got in the way.

"Not yet, Koneko. Eugene is recovering," Lily, the queen of Eugene, said in a soft but firm voice.

Koneko immediately pouted, her lips pursed in an adorable expression of disappointment. Seeing that, Eugene's mood rose to the threshold. Unconsciously, he ruffled and stroked Koneko's hair with a happy grin on his face.

Meanwhile, on the other side, Issei felt excluded from the circle. He clenched his fists tightly, ignoring the pain radiating through his hands.

[Partners, there's no need to be sad. There's still a long way to go. Besides, just seeing that guy's son motivates me. You as my host, don't mope too deeply!"] said Ddraig, speaking through Issei's mind.

"Yeah..." muttered Issei, his voice almost inaudible.

In the crowd, Raiser, who felt cornered, saw an opportunity to escape. He tried to sneak towards the exit. Just as he was about to reach the door, someone entered the hall. The man was tall, more than two meters tall, with a rough and bald face. A shining star-shaped scar on his forehead added to the intimidating impression.

The man was definitely a demon, but a reincarnated demon. He was Claius, one of Eugene's fortress pawn raiders, a giant of a supposedly extinct race.

An aura of danger enveloped Claius as he stared at Raiser, who looked like a young bird in front of a predator.

'Damn...' Raiser thought, his heart racing.

"Hey, where are you going, little bird?" said Claius with a bright smile that contrasted with the menacing atmosphere he created.

Raiser froze, not knowing what to do. Claius stepped closer, backing Raiser into a corner. Every step of the giant was heavy and authoritative, emphasizing his presence that could not be ignored.

Eugene, who was still surrounded by his friends, finally noticed Claius' presence. He turned his head, his eyes locking on Raiser's frightened figure.

"Claius, bring his back here," Eugene said in a calm but firm voice.

Claius nodded, grabbing Raiser's arm in one swift motion. "Come on, let's go back," he said, pulling Raiser back to the center of the hall.

The crowd that had been busy with excitement and cheering was now silent, watching what would happen next. Raiser, feeling increasingly cornered, had no choice but to follow Claius' lead.

Eugene approached them, his gaze cold yet authoritative. "Raiser, it's about time you made good on all your promises," he said in a low yet firm voice, taking out a tall stacked lemon from his magic storage.

Raiser gulped down his own saliva as he watched the lemons pile up, some even rolling up to his feet. His face instantly pale, his gaze shifted from the lemons to Eugene who looked unforgiving.

Eugene took one lemon and brought it before the frozen Raiser. "Now... Eat!" he said with his eyes flashing red, highlighting the firmness in his command.

Raiser's lips trembled as well as his body, fear and reluctance clearly visible on his face. 'No...' his mind kept refusing, horror coursing through his body. Finally, the fear peaked and he screamed like a girl. "NOOOOOOOO!!!"

The audience that had been cheering was now silent, holding their breath as they watched this dramatic scene. Their gazes were glued to Raiser who looked so frightened, as well as Eugene who stood majestically in front of him.

Rias, who was standing among the crowd, looked at Eugene with a mixture of admiration and concern. She knew how stubborn and arrogant Raiser was, but Eugene had managed to conquer even the most stubborn side of the man.

"Raiser," Eugene continued in a softer but still firm voice, "this is part of our agreement. You must keep your word."

Raiser, with trembling hands, reached for the lemon Eugene handed him. His gaze was full of fear and disbelief. "This... this is crazy..." he muttered, his eyes glancing at the lemon as if it was a deadly poison.

Eugene only smiled slightly. "No, this is justice. Now, eat."

With trembling hands, Raiser finally brought the lemon to his mouth and took a bite. His face instantly contorted, his expression of disgust and discomfort clearly visible. The audience couldn't help but chuckle, the tense atmosphere eased a little by this ridiculous act.

Lily, who was standing not far from Eugene, was looking at this scene with mixed feelings. She was relieved to see Eugene take control, but also a little sorry for Raiser who was forced to undergo this strange punishment.

Raiser, with tears almost streaming down his face, continued to eat the lemons one by one, the sharp sour taste piercing each time he took a bite. But he knew there was no other way. He had to keep his promise, even if it meant enduring this agony in front of everyone.

And before long, Raiser collapsed with his mouth foaming, face contorted with tears and snot. His current performance was truly embarrassing. The entire hall fell silent for a moment, then broke out in laughter and whispers.

Eugene at that time also managed to create a new trauma for Raiser, which was a lemon. In the future, even just to see a lemon, the arrogant man would scream hysterically as if it was the scariest thing in the world.

"Heh..." Eugene cleared his throat proudly, feeling satisfied with the result. His friends looked at him with a mixture of admiration and astonishment. They were all demons, but Eugene always managed to surprise them with his unusual ways.

After Raiser fainted, the man was carried by the guards back to the rest area. Among the crowd, someone from the Phenex family approached. A woman of Koneko's age with her luxurious dress, long blonde hair styled like a drill, and piercing blue eyes. She walked gracefully towards Eugene, then greeted him politely.

"Long time no see, Lord Eugene," Ravel said with a sweet smile gracing her face. Her face was slightly flushed, making her appearance even more charming. On the other hand, Koneko growled softly, clearly displeased by Ravel's presence.

"Ravel! I told you not to be so formal. You can call me 'bro' or 'onii-chan' like Koneko," Eugene said casually, waving a hand as if trying to remove the formal distance between them.

Ravel smiled shyly, "Well, Eugene... onii-chan," she said in a voice slightly shaky with embarrassment, but her smile remained sincere.

Koneko, who was standing near Eugene, narrowed her eyes at Ravel. Their gazes met, creating a tense atmosphere. From the other person's perspective, the illusion of birds and cats threatening each other seemed real, adding to the intensity of the atmosphere around them.

Eugene noticed the tension and tried to break the ice. "You two, just relax. We're all friends here, right?" he said as he gently ruffled Koneko's hair and gave Ravel a friendly smile.

Koneko remained sullen, but softened a little with Eugene's treatment. Ravel also tried to calm himself down, regulating his breathing so as not to be too nervous.
