Apostle

At the eastern continent from Aegis, there lies a thriving community contrary to the Agrarian's expectation. Civilizations are organized and thoroughly maintained, as well as army being made.

However, those that thrives here are no longer Agrarian. Instead, they are groups of countless races that used to dwells underneath the surface, with some races having humanoid figures with horn, animalistic features, elongated ears, or even wings.

These creatures are defined as higher demons. Capable of decision-making and negotiating. The same with the one killed by the envoy,

But the one killed are no mere common.

"I heard the 3rd apostle was killed, is it true?"

"We have yet confirmed his death due to the lack of evidence, but it seems that's the case."

"No, what if he deserted? I've heard rumors from the upper echelon about his disapproval to his fellow apostle?"

"Shh, what if someone heard you?"

"Yes, to mock an apostle is punishable by death, no?"

"Hey, hey Lord Makrius is coming!"

"The 1st apostle?!"

All those in the table soon tremble in fear the moment his name was heard. Soon, the door opens, revealing a man of great stature, dressed in aesthetically pleasing robe with two of his horn stand tall in each side of his head.

"The Saints Greets The Apostle, Lord Makrius of Divine Emera!"

The people's mood turned for the worse upon seeing the man. However, they were able to calm their head and greet. To which the apostle merely nod and proceed to walk towards his designated seat.

"Any news regarding 3rd apostle disappearance?"

"Not, yet lord Makrius, although rumors have suggested, we are yet to prove those otherwise. It seems though that one shall not fret, maybe the 3rd apostle's merely taking his time."

"Hmm, but you said otherwise, are you not? According to your rumors, his death maybe certain, but there's still the possibility of him deserting? Of what reason could such insult be said?"

The words of the 1st apostle may sound angry, but his tone remains low, his composure remains calm, his eyes remain unwavered.

Yet such expression of his was something even the entirety of the apostle's roundtable fear. His seriousness.

"I-it was merely speculations-"

"Speculations oftentimes comes with evidence to prove such claim. Or... am I wrong?"

The man at the left of the table just two people away from the 1st apostle trembles and lowered his head upon hearing the 1st apostle's logic.

The room is yet again silent, the apostle moved his gaze to the documents lying on his side and in its content is something only he can know. The information about the 3rd apostle's wellbeing.

As he read the content reported by his shadow, he was having a complicated feeling. The 3rd apostle was a nuisance to his ascension plan for angelhood. A higher hierarchical status within the Domain of Serberus and the content report made him express a certain positive mood.

However... the 3rd apostle was not a meager enemy nor ally. He was an apostle for a reason. He maybe lacking to certain fields, but his raw strength alone is an asset to the entire military of Serberus.

If even possible, he had wished for the man's cooperation.

So his death is alarming.

The man stood from his seat once he read all of the documents' content and left the room still full of people. In his baffled mind is the countless occurrences he starts to analyze such as a new transfer a hero to the world, or yet a new hero born under the territory of the Agrarians.

He is uncertain of the enemy's origin, however, he is certain someone of that caliber needs to be dealt with as soon as possible.

So...

"The 2nd apostle."

The 1st apostle used the teleportation device connected to all networks of the domain. It was created by the Goddess of Fertility, the deity that supports their conquest beneath and even here. It was so that the travels and communication between each realms becomes faster.

When the 1st apostle entered the teleportation portal, he was met a familiar place. A place renowned for its aesthetically pleasing nature and cleanliness that befits it ruler. A person of foreign world. A former hero that rebels against Agrarian that caused the destruction of the former civilization of the southern continent.

The 1st apostle made his way towards the gate of the castle, then a chamberlain that awaits his sudden arrival bow as soon as he was seen. For a few quick exchange, they soon head for the 2nd apostle.

Soon enough, they arrived to a modern-looking door, it was designed to be minimalistic so it wasn't much of an extravagant thing.

When the chamberlain knock, a voice coming from the door respond. It was a childish voice, coming from a person who hadn't age since he was 19.

When they received the confirmation, the chamberlain opened the door, revealing a clean, gray room, surrounded by books and likes. In the middle of the room is the man the 1st apostle was trying to find, surrounded by women dressed in maid outfit.

"I didn't receive any notice for your visit? Clear to explain."

The man sounded rude, not only that, his face seems disinterested to the 1st apostle. With a tired-looking eyes, and a dark bugs growing beneath his eyes, he looks more like a NEET rather than an apostle granted to have a ruling land for his own.

"The 3rd apostle is dead."

"Or so I've heard."

"So you've received the news, truly how fast the words spread."

"I got eyes and ears. So, what does that got to do with me?"

"Kill the one that killed the 3rd apostle."

"Hmpf? Puahhahaha!"

The man laughs, but his laugh wasn't loud enough to verify his true emotion. It was a sarcastic laugh.

But upon looking the 1st apostle's eyes, he fix his posture and look at the man, dead in the eye.

"No."

"Why?"

"I've had enough affairs to deal with."

"Is that so?"

"Yes, so if you have no more-"

"I believe the one who killed him is an agrarian hero. It seems they have replaced their rebelled puppet."

"What?"

The 2nd apostle's eyes lost its light upon hearing the antagonizing words of the man.

"Don't make me repeat myself.

According to the report, he was killed by an agrarian from the west continent.

I'll take my leave."

"Wait."

"If I killed this person and you ascended to angelhood, can I do whatever I want with the agrarians?"

The 1st apostle turned his back and hold onto the door's knob, then turn his head halfway, looking at the 2nd apostle sideway.

"You may do as you wish."

Then he left.

"I see... then I shall bring sadness to that people, just like how they deserved it."
