Just Another Isekai (18+)

As Julianna finished her teleportation, Liam's eyes adjusted to his surroundings. He is standing in what is presumably the center of a large city in the medieval era. There are many people walking on the streets.

"So, are there any other races here?" Liam asked Julianna.

"Yeah... Elves, dwarves, beastmen, things of the like..." Julianna responded hesitantly.

"What's wrong? Didn't expect me to be this bad of a person?" Liam asked. Julianna flinched at this question as she hesitated to respond.

"I guess..." She said solemnly.

"I figured as much. Do we have any money?" Liam asked.

"Five silver." Julianna responded as she regained her composure.

"Okay, now give me a break down of the currency." Liam said.

"Right, the lowest is copper, one hundred copper is one silver, and one hundred silver is one gold, then there's platinum, which is a hundred gold." Julianna explained.

"Okay, and how much is a decent inn." Liam asked.

"Ten copper." Julianna responded swiftly.

'She seems to be attempting to ignore her negative emotions, not particularly good, but I do the same, so I can't really judge...' Liam thought to himself.

"Lead me to a decent inn." Liam demanded. Julianna obliged since she can't say no. Soon enough, they arrived at an inn.

"Hello!" The woman at the desk said happily. "Will you and your woman be staying here, and if so, for how long?" She asked.

"How much is it for ten days?" Liam asked.

"That would be one silver!" She said happily. Liam gave the woman one silver, and he was handed a key with the number three engraved into it. "It'll be the room with the number three above it just up the stairs!" She said excitedly as she pointed at the stairs to her right.

Liam nodded, then began walking up the stairs, motioning for Julianna to follow him. Julianna once again obliged and followed him. They walked up to the door, then opened it.

The room is nice. There is a table in the back left with a couple of chairs and a candle lantern. Directly to the right is a twin size bed. "Only one bed?" Liam asked.

"I am a slave after all..." Julianna said.

"You take the bed, I'll sleep on the chair." Liam said as he entered the room.

"Wait, what? Did I hear you correctly? You just gave a slave the bed you are supposed to sleep in?" Julianna asked.

"And if I did?" Liam asked in response.

"I have no complaints. Just making sure I heard you correctly master." Julianna quickly cleaned her speech.

"I get the feeling you think I'm going to make you do something dirty." Liam stated.

"And why would you think that? Is it because you, I don't know, made me a slave?" Julianna asked sarcastically. Liam sighed as he sat in the chair.

"I do want you to do those things, but I don't plan to anytime soon. I do want to know though, can you use your abilities here?" Liam asked.

"Only a few times, why do you ask?" Julianna responded with her own question.

"I want to get more wishes, that much should be obvious." Liam said. Julianna sighed.

"Alright, what do you want to wish for?" Julianna asked.

"Not what I was expecting, but thanks." Liam said with a light smile.

"Hey! That's the first time you've smiled since we've gotten here! Why is that, actually, shouldn't you be excited to be here?" She asked.

"I'm just a bit worried is all." Liam responded.

"Worried?" She asked. Liam nodded.

"I was walking with my friend when I died... I'm worried about her... Knowing her, she's probably depressed... Then again, how important could I have been to her? She's pretty, probably knows way more people than I do..." Liam explained though it was really just him thinking aloud.

"Oh, I see... If I see her soul, I'll reincarnate it..." Julianna said.

"Thanks, though I doubt it will come to that..." Liam said. "Well, I'm going downstairs." Liam said as he stood up.

"What, why?" Julianna asked.

"To find a woman who wants to fuck." He said plainly. Julianna, though unsurprised, was annoyed she didn't think something like that immediately.
