Tombs of the Star: Tengen

Naohiro Zenin.

A completely unknown person who shouldn't exist.

The Six Eyes and Limitless have been inherited on multiple occasions, shifting the world's balance. While not as drastically as recently, it has happened in the past.

Satoru Gojo influenced this world by changing how curses are born. He is an anomaly but an expected anomaly.

Yet, Naohiro Zenin can keep up with him or surpass him in an unexpected outcome.

His cursed energy was perfectly equal to Ryomen Sukuna's until recently, and his abilities should not exist in the current state of curses. It's as if he is neither a sorcerer nor a curse.

All of Japan should've been in crisis these last sixteen years. However, things have been strangely stable. Something happened, and I, of all people, can't figure out what it is.

Ever since I learned of his existence, I've thought of countless scenarios and concluded that the world shouldn't have allowed him to exist. He is not an anomaly, but THE anomaly.

Since my vessel will be merging with me so soon, I need to know what he is and his motivations. Having him interfere with the merging will spell disaster. Becoming a cursed spirit is the least of my problems.

If my barriers fall, the world will change for the worse.

I'll need someone. Someone strong.

Yuki Tsukumo

I tilt my head to the side. "Tengen asked to meet with me? I'm shocked. The shut-i...master Tengen has more things to worry about than a special-grade sorcerer...unless it's for protection."

The old lady is going to kill an innocent girl soon, so why the hell does she need me to be around her?

Does she want me to protect the star plasma vessel?

Get someone else. I don't plan on leading a girl to her death.

The messenger speaks back up. "I'm not sure about the specifics, but Master Tengen has an urgent request for you."

Scratching my hair, I have an irritated expression. "*URH* Fine, I'll meet with Tengen. I'll see what the old lady wants."

I notice a wince on the man's face for the 'disrespect' I showcased, but I don't give a shit.

I follow him to the Tombs of the Star without saying another word. His only job is to be Tengen's goon, so I couldn't care less about disrespect.

Damnit, my mood is ruined. I finally got a gig overseas that would've left me 'occupied' for a few weeks, but that's gone down the drain.

After a lot of walking, moving through complex corridors, and going down an elevator, we finally arrive at Tengen's chamber.

The goon turns back and leaves, but not before giving me a dirty look.

Man, I really need to punch something.

While I walk further into the chamber, I notice a short girl with messy white hair. Stopping in my tracks, they speak up. "So you've arrived."

Rolling my eyes, I sarcastically reply. "Of course, 'Master Tengen.' I wouldn't dare miss such an important event."

Ignoring my comments, they wave me over.

Making my way towards her, she speaks up. "I'm going to be transparent with you. I'll need your protection while I converse with someone."

I look baffled. "Why are you inviting someone who is a danger to you into the Tombs of the Star? Who the hell is it?"

She crosses her arms in her sleeves. "I'm sure you've heard of Naohiro Zenin, correct?"

I look even more baffled. "HUH!? Are you asking me to protect you from him!? What is so dangerous about him that you need me here?"

Tengen narrows her eyes. "Everything."

Tengen is serious.

Finally, I dropped my attitude and spoke to her seriously. "What is it about him that makes him different from, say, Satoru Gojo? They are both extraordinary geniuses. From what I've seen, he doesn't harbor any ill intentions against Jujutsu society."

She closed her eyes. "I'll be honest with you...he shouldn't exist."

My eyes widen.

Naohiro

Lying back on the desk behind me, I get something thrown at me before I catch it.

Yaga speaks to me. "*Sigh* I'm not sure why, but Master Tengen has summoned you."

Looking at the 'invitation' in my hands, I can't help but have my eyes widen as I realize that the granny herself wants to talk to me.

Shit, she probably knows something is up with me.

There is no way someone like Tengen hasn't had their suspicions of me. I'll need to make sure I can get through this smoothly since having the backbone of Jujutsu hate you is not a good thing to have.

I get something else thrown at me, this time a pencil. "Stop spacing out and get moving. I don't want to have to drag you down into the Tombs."

Narrowing my eyes, I whisper to myself. "*Whisper* Like you could drag me anywhere."

However, rather than arguing, I stand up and start to follow a goon who is most likely Tengen's messenger, given how mobish they seem.

After a lot of walking and navigating through seemingly random corridors, we arrive at an elevator.

The elevator ride was awkward. Nothing was said for a good two minutes while we sat there and waited.

Finally, making our way down, I see a familiar sight. The goon speaks up: "Tengen's chambers."

I roll my eyes. "No shit, I thought it was a Chili's."

He ignores me and gets back into the elevator.

Then, I heard a loud voice that I had recognized from a while back. "Hey Naohiro! Welcome to the old lady's house!"

Yuki Tsukumo has a wide smile on her face, as I can see...

IS THAT TENGEN!? TOJI, WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER?

The last thing I expected was a five-foot-tall, thousand-year-old, white-haired girl. Even Jujutsu Kaisen has cliche's huh?

Tengen had a neutral look on her face while Yuki waved me over.

As I make my way over to them, I sit down in an empty seat only a few feet away from one of the smartest beings in the world.

As I think about Yuki's role in all of this, Tengen speaks up. "Nice to meet you, Naohiro Zenin. I am Tengen and would like to chat briefly with you."

Sweating slightly, I respond. "What do you need from me?"

Finally, looking straight into my eyes, she asked a question that I didn't want to hear. "Who or what are you?"

Well, that is a question that I don't plan on seriously answering.

'Hey, I'm a random dude who died on a different earth where your entire life is merely enjoyment for teenagers! People love Sukuna and Satoru Gojo and would love nothing more than to get into their pants! Did you know that you turn into a 2x2 Lego piece in the future?'

One of the dumbest things reincarnated people have done is to tell them they are reincarnated.

Shit, how are you going to get out of this one, Naohiro?
