Hunting Monsters

"GRUNT!"

A giant boar, standing two meters tall, charged towards the two humans in front of it.

Charlie immediately recognized the monster as a Battle Boar. A common monster found on Floor 19.

"Aishia, take the rear, don't let the monster ambush us."

"Understood."

Hearing Aishia's reply behind him, Charlie manipulated the Essence/Mana taken from his body and gathered it in his right hand before swinging it like a scythe.

*SPLASH*

Immediately after, a wall of water like a tsunami appeared in front of his eyes, the Battle Boar slammed into the wall of water with force.

The Battle Boar felt like it had hit a hard rock and its large body lost its balance as if it could fall at any moment.

Taking advantage of this moment, Charlie swung his sword. Sharpening the blade's sharpness with the Wind Spirit Art, he vertically split the Battle Boar.

The crescent-shaped green wind wave did not lose its power even after cutting through the Battle Boar, and continued to cut down several trees before disappearing completely.

"Seems like I went a bit overboard... I shouldn't have added the buff, my raw power alone is enough to defeat the Battle Boar."

Sheathing the Damocles Sword, Charlie decided to improve his power control. He didn't want to accidentally cause someone else's death due to being hit by his attack.

Aishia handed over the Battle Boar's magic stone and a horn.

"My drop item percentage increased after I chose Luck as my Development Ability."

Storing the magic stone and drop item into the Space-Time Cache, Charlie was happy to get more drop items compared to when he first entered the Dungeon.

After that, the two of them continued their expedition.

The landscape of Floor 19 was overgrown with lush trees and moss emitting a blue light as a source of illumination.

Whether by luck or misfortune, Charlie and Aishia encountered Battle Boars repeatedly. In fact, they were both surrounded by ten Battle Boars at once. Even so, they were both unharmed and even slaughtered the Battle Boars.

"Huft... If it were other Level 2 adventurers experiencing this situation, I'm afraid that person could only run away in despair."

Exhaling a long breath, Charlie was only slightly tired even though he had faced several waves of Battle Boar attacks.

"That's all because all of Charlie's stats in basic abilities are EX Rank. You're far superior to other Level 2s. So it's no wonder the monsters on Floor 19 are not challenging at all for you." Aishia stated her opinion with a flat expression.

"Alright, let's go to Floor 20. Anyway, we'll go down to deeper floors until I feel difficulty fighting the monsters on that floor. If everything is too easy, the Excelia I get will be a little."

Before the two of them stepped forward, two figures hiding behind a tree launched a stealth attack.

Charlie's reaction speed was not slow, his body moved sideways reflexively to avoid the sharp sword swing that almost cut him.

It was a humanoid lizard monster with red scales. This type of monster was able to use swordsmanship and use metallic flowers as swords and shields.

This time Charlie didn't use swordsmanship, he wanted to try a fighting style with Spirit Art.

"I'll leave the other one to you, Aishia."

After receiving instructions, Aishia launched a long-range attack. Stomping her foot on the ground, suddenly the ground around the Lizardman in front of her protruded, forming dozens of sharp spears that pierced his body.

Unfortunately, the Lizardman didn't have time to start a second attack and died instantly. Because for Aishia, finishing off the enemy as quickly as possible was the most efficient option. Then, she turned to watch Charlie.

"Physical Enchant."

Charlie kicked the ground without warning and ran as fast as a cheetah. A distance of tens of meters passed in an instant.

His body speed increased rapidly after activating Spirit Art to enhance his physical strength, allowing him to easily cross this distance and arrive right in front of the fierce-looking Lizardman.

Although the Lizardman raised his shield in time, Charlie's punch knocked him back until he hit the tree behind him.

"Still not dead? Try this."

"Lightning Divine Protection."

Charlie's body was surrounded by lightning and thunder that looked dazzling. Just one step, he was already in front of the Lizardman who had just stood up.

Clenching his fist, he punched the Lizardman with full force.

Although the Lizardman tried to parry as before, his shield immediately shattered into pieces when it collided with the fist.

Charlie's fist, clad in lightning, pierced the Lizardman's scaly body like a knife cutting through butter.

The next second, the Lizardman's body vanished into black fragments, leaving only a broken magic stone.

"This magic stone is not worth selling."

Picking up the broken magic stone on the ground, Charlie shook his head and discarded it.

"ROAR---"

Perhaps because of the thunderous roar earlier, it attracted the attention of the surrounding monsters, Charlie could hear the sound of many footsteps approaching.

"Charlie, there are a lot of monsters coming." Aishia didn't show any fear.

"It's okay, they're just a bunch of Excelia." Charlie replied calmly.

Not only did they both not run away, but they waited for the monsters to come.

A few moments later, at least more than fifty monsters surrounded the two of them.

On land there were Bugbears, Battle Boars, and Lizardmen. In the air there were also monsters, namely Mad Beetles, Firebirds, and Vouivres.

Charlie and Aishia had a silent understanding, without needing to exchange any words, they both started their actions at the same time.

To avoid damaging the magic stones, Charlie chose to use swordsmanship to deal with the monster siege.

His body moved left and right with incredible speed, none of the monster attacks managed to hit him.

The Damocles Sword was a Tier 1 Weapon. The monsters on the Middle Floor were cut in just one slash.

Compared to Charlie who displayed impressive swordsmanship, Aishia's performance was more spectacular to watch.

She used Spirit Art to create a ten-meter tornado and combined it with fire to form a fire tornado.

Wherever the fire tornado passed, monsters would be sucked in and burned inside the whirlwind.

Because the commotion caused by Charlie and Aishia was too great, it attracted the attention of several adventurers and they silently watched the two of them in action.

The observers were more interested in watching Aishia exterminate the monsters than Charlie whose movements were too fast and only showed afterimages.

In less than ten minutes, dozens of magic stones and drop items were scattered on the ground. If it weren't for seeing the power of the two of them, several adventurers were tempted to try to rob them.
