'Evolution'

Aiden was on his way home when he smelled blood.

Due to his strong sense of smell, he was sure that this was coming from a place near his home.

He used all his physical power and magic to speed up and reached the place where his siblings fought with werewolves.

He saw the scene and was devasted from inside.

(Aiden POV)

He saw many bodies of dead werewolves and his dead siblings, he was feeling emotions of guilty from inside.

He was having crying thoughts,

"I could not save them despite my power."

His emotions were surging and his mind was getting out of control, his mind snapped.

At that time something started happening inside him and he then heard Livie's Voice,

{Conditions for evolution to the second stage have been met.}

{Evolution Begins....}

These were the last words Aiden heard before his mind shut itself and Essence began leaking his body, wrapping around it.

He had fallen unconscious.

While he was unconscious the Essence wrapped around his body was breaking down and recreating him.

He was going through a great evolution, from his body to mind everything was evolving.

This process didn't take long as Essence acted with properties of Creation Energy.

(2 Hr Later)

Aiden's evolution was completed and he was about to wake up any moment now.

(Aiden POV)

Aiden was waking up from his sleep and standing up slowly.

After standing up, he looked at his surroundings and noticed all the dead bodies of his siblings with werewolves.

But this time his emotions didn't swell up and he was able to access the situation calmly.

He could now somehow feel lifeforce around him and with that, he accurately judged that only Elijah, Niklaus, Rebekah were alive.

He without waiting for anything transferred Essence with creation nature in their body, to heal them, while they were healing he just left them there with a little bit of essence in the area to prevent any beings from coming near it.

Aiden was currently going toward his house because he could feel the dying life force of his parents.

While he was moving there he had a very calm face and without any regret or doubts but he was sad due to his sibling's deaths.

Before he could think something, Livie's voice reverberated through his ears,

{You have been evolved into your 'second stage' and there are a lot of changes.}

{You can listen to them anytime you want but just remember one thing, for now, magic won't work and you have to use Essence.}

{Everything you are experiencing will be explained after some time.}

Aiden just heard and didn't reply, as he knew how to use essence instead of magic so he just concentrated on reaching his parents for now.

Aiden had reached his house and was seeing a devastating scene from outside,

He started walking closer and when he reached it he saw his parents being on their last breaths, and he also judged based on their condition he wouldn't be able to save them.

He also saw the source of all this which was 'Dahlia', he felt emotions of anger from her, regret from his mother, and arrogance from his father.

He was listening to their conversation and understood everything from him beings his first child to the attack of werewolves.

As he saw her launching her strongest spell, without any delay he made a pitch-black shield with essence and transferred it to cover his parents.

(Dahlia POV)

She was getting angrier with time so she decided to launch her strongest spell before anything wrong could happen.

As she successfully did that, a shield appeared out of nowhere and blocked the attack, then disintegrated, this leaved Esther, Mikael, and Dahlia in shock.

Dahlia was about to say something when a calm voice appeared from behind,

Aiden "Why do you want to kill them, when they only have few minutes left to live?"

Dahlia turned around and saw a very calm face with no trace of fear, this made her very angry.

She angrily said,

Dahlia "So must be the firstborn, you think you are strong by blocking my attack but you are weak and I will make your sacrifice.

Aiden reply shocked her,

Aiden "Why do you want power when you have enough to survive on your own?"

Dahlia didn't have an answer for this and just shouted,

Dahlia "No matter what you say, you and your leftover siblings are going to die."

Aiden sighed listening to this,

Aiden "I dint want to kill you, but there is no other way."

"If I were to leave you alive here, you will be a threat to me and my siblings in the future."

Dahlia was shocked listening to this but Aiden didn't give her a chance to speak.

He didn't wait for Dahlia's reply and made a sharp disk out of essence which rotated at a very fast speed.

This shocked his mother and father as they knew nothing about this.

The disk then launched toward Dahlia as she was about to rebuke Aiden, but before she could do it, her head was cut and she died just like that.

Plop...Plop....!!!

Aiden saw that very calmy and then he turned toward his father, he saw that his father had already died due to shock, but his mother was alive and according to her life force she will only be for a few minutes.

He looked toward her and smiled before saying,

Aiden "Mother as a return for giving me birth, I will make you one promise before you leave this world."

(Esther POV)

She looked at her son with complex emotions and said,

Esther "I know that you have changed but you are still my child and that will never change."

"As a parting gift, I will give you this."

As soon as she said that a Black Tattered Dairy appeared in her hand,

Esther "This is the dairy of most forbidden magician ever in existence, by once known as 'Devil of magic'"

"Nobody has ever been able to understand it due to its magic nullification properties but now that I know you can control something besides magic. I can entrust this mystery to you."

The dairy automatically left Esther's hand and landed into Aiden's hand then disappeared into his arm and became a tattoo engraved on his skin.

Aiden didn't resist as he could feel 'Pure Energy' from it.

Esther continued with difficulty,

"I want you to promise me that you will never let Elijah, Niklaus, and Rebekah die, they are your siblings but they are weak now, you have to make them strong enough to survive on their own."

Esther stopped with this and took a page out of her clothes and said,

Esther "This is my life's work, this spell is a modified version of the 'immortality spell' I taught you"

"You will understand what to do after you read it."

With these last words, Esther stopped breathing and left the world forever.

Aiden just looked blankly at the sky and took the page from her mother's hand.

He then looked in the direction of his siblings and closed his eyes to feel their life force.

After sensing them, he knew they were healing and would wake up in a day.

He then looked blankly at the sky then sighed,

Aiden "What a bothersome last wish, but I promised so I have to do it."

He had nothing else to do so he decides to ask Livie about his changes and new powers,

Aiden "Livie, why dont you tell me everything now. I am pretty sure I have changed a lot after this evolution"...He said in a curious voice

{Affirmitive}

After hearing Livie's reply he just laid down and stared at the stray night sky ready to listen about his mysteries.
