RUBY ROSE POV

She fired another Dust round and blew the head off of another one of the large Grimm in her sight.

Beside her, Yang used the Machine gun they had created for this fight and fired High-Grade Military Dust upon the encroaching Grimm army.

Each round of Dust created an explosion that killed dozens of the smaller Grimm.

It did a fine job of holding the Grimm tide in place but it wasn't enough.

She could see the Flying Grimm moving toward them from the sky, blotting out the sun with their very existence.

In the ground, she could see nothing but Black as the entire Grimm population within a hundred miles ran toward them.

She saw the Eastern area of the perimeter overwhelmed as Melanie fell behind, giving more ground to the Grimm as she retreated into the castle.

She tapped Yang on the shoulder. "Let's fall back!"

Yang nodded and picked up the machine gun before jumping on top of the Castle.

Or what little remained of the castle after the fight between Maria, Raven, Pyrrha and Salem.

After a long and difficult fight, they had finally managed to pin Salem to the ground.

As in, they had literally pinned the Grimm queen on the ground with hundreds of iron spears.

Except… the Grimm Queen was still alive and was using her various magical powers to destroy those spears to get free once again.

She took a peek and saw the naked form of Jaune using his shroud to cover the Grimm queen while Pyrrha, Raven, and Maria used their semblance, Maiden abilities, and Silvereyes to counteract and any of Salem's attack and keep her pinned in place.

She was surprised by Jaune's quick victory over the Manticore Titan. But he told her that the Storm clouds gathered by the Tempest Grimm aided him and he got lucky when the Menticore Titan was distracted by Salem's sudden defeat.

She saw Miltia and Neo holding the other side of the castle. They had retreated into the castle as well but if they- "GUYS!!! You might want to see this!!" Melanie shouted from her position.

She used her semblance and quickly flew toward Melanie only to stop in place as she gazed at yet another titan.

A Blind Worm that was even larger than the Centipede Titan Jaune had fought.

And the only ones that could stop it were inside, dealing with Salem.

She quickly used her Semblance and flew toward them.

"Umm… there's another Grimm Titan coming toward us." She said "It is even larger than the Centipede Titan that Jaune defeated."

Jaune continued to focus on the Grimm queen, struggling to wrap his Shroud around the powerful witch.

"Maria. Go." Pyrrha said as she used her Semblance to spin the metal poles buried into the Grimm Queen, digging them even deeper in her and stopping any efforts at regeneration.

Maria nodded and took her arm. The older silver-eyed warrior had tears of blood flowing down her cheeks at this point. The face had lost all color and it looked like she was about to fall over any moment

"Take me to the Titan." Maria said and she nodded. But before she could use her Semblance to take both of them to the Titan, Jaune spoke.

"Wait!!"

"What?" Maria asked.

Jaune didn't reply but simply raised a hand in Maria's direction.

Maria took his hand in her own and a large amount of Jaune's aura flew into her.

Maria looked less tired now.

They didn't share any words. Maria just put a hand on her shoulder and nodded.

She gave a worried look toward Jaune before she used her Semblance to turn both herself and Maria into Rose petals and they flew out of the castle and toward the Blind Worm Titan who was moving toward them at a terrifying speed.

At that moment, large pillars of lightning descended from storm clouds that covered the entire sky and erased tens of thousands of Grimm out of existence.

It was not enough but it gave them a little breathing room. And it cleared the area around the titan of any Grimm that might distract them.

She thanked Jaune in her mind and flew toward the Blind worm Titan which looked a little stunned from having a lightning pillar descend on its head before she stopped using her Semblance and both she and Maria landed on its head.

And…

Holy Hell. How large was this thing?

What was worse was that it was covered in White Grimm Armor to its entire length.

"How do we hurt it?" she asked.

She had never fought a Blind Grimm as they were only found in Vacuo and Menagerie. And this was a Titan so it was definitely going to be even harder to fight.

"They're vulnerable under the belly." Maria replied. "I'll distract it and you'll use that distraction to hurt it there."

She nodded and used her Semblance to fly toward its belly while Maria went toward its face.

She would stop this titan from reaching the castle if it's the last thing she did.
