Ingenious in love: Tale of a Phoenix

Warm Sun Ray's were filling up the platform of the suburban Railway station. it's early morning, so very few people were in the vicinity.

though it's suburban, the small station is filled trees and greenary in the surrounding, which makes it look like holiday vacation spot for travellers. the sides of the platform had tress. there were lots of small birds making noises and few local workers were feeding the birds.

the station had five platform, at the end of the platform no 4, there was girl sitting quietly. she is immersed in the nature scenario around here.

In her mind, she was thinking" oh my gosh, how beautiful this place is, I am going to miss it in the future, when will I come back"

Four years in this small suburban had been a memorable one for her. subconsciously she felt this is her home. she was quite nervous about the future, don't know what is in store for her. moving into the new city will be a different experience.

while thinking about her new chapter in life and new city, she didn't realize there is group of people coming towards her.

One tall and thin girl from the group ran impatiently towards the girl who was sitting. she ran and hugged her with force and called her name Gao Ling.

Gao ling got surprised by the warm hands hugging with force. she realized the hugging person tears falling on her shoulders. Ling lifted the girl crying and said, Oh MeiMei Stop Crying! this is the reason i left the hostel without telling you. please stop crying and listen to me.

Mei cheeks and eyes have become red after crying, she is not in a position to listen to her best friends words. in her heart she is feeling like end of the world while thinking about her friend leaving the university.

The group walking towards Ling came closer and was asking her about train details. Ling looked at her bunch of friends and feeling very warm inside her heart. these were the people who were there beside for the last four years. these five people were her pillars of strength.

Five of them knew very well about Ling, she is not weak person, however she is not good with Goodbyes. So they didn't actually get angry on her.

From the group, Xie Chen came forward and gave her the bento box filled food for her travel.

Ling was not surprised , Xie Chen is always the most caring boy one could come across. Ling said " Thanks Chen, Dont forget to call me after you reach France"

Xie chen hugged Ling, "Please take care of yourself, we all are very proud of you. we maynot be next to you, but just give us call or text when you need something, Always remember we are your family and get a boyfriend soon " he winked at her. Ling gave a small punch on his stomach for his remark.

She looked at five people in front of her and said, "I am so sorry for leaving without telling you guys, but I feared that if I see all of you, it will be very difficult for me to leave. I don't have any real family, but you guys are all my family, I can't say thanks and belittle our Friendship. Don't worry about me, University Education is over and now I'm going to work. I hope to enjoy this phase of life too. I will be in touch with all of you"

Ling's speech made even the three guys emotional.

Five of them, Fu Mei , Xia Chen, Yu Ning, Su Che, Sun Qing were looking at their friend with loving eyes and the train entered the platform quietly.

Ling hugged all of them and bid farewell and entered the train.

Ling secured her seat and wondering how to while away her 4 hours journey. Being a Nerd, she decided to immerse herself in book, maybe a Novel today just to feel light. While she lifted her favorite authors Jane Austin'Pride and Prejudice' from the bag, she realized there is someone already sitting in front of her.

She felt some kind of familiar vibe emitting from him, however he looks so so rich, wondering where she have seen him before. instead of breaking her head wondering who he is. she decided to ask him. "Excuse me, Hi I m Gao Ling"

He looked at her with the look saying so what. She was little taken back by no response and cold expression. She slowly told him

" I know it sounds cliche, But I feel like I have seen you somewhere. Do we know each other"

He gave a puzzled look and responded " Nope I don't know at all" . That's a complete lie, he knows in his heart, thinking how can she forget me so easily.

"oh Sorry then, I just wanted to clarify" she was cursing her curiosity for putting her in awkward place.

Looking at her Awkwardness, he responded " In any case, I m Mingyu" His sole purpose of response is only to continue to the conversation with her, yet he gave cold expression beforehand just to play hard to get.

Ling felt little bit relieved after his response, she just gave a smile and went back to her book.

He was disappointed by the way she went back to her book, he came all the way to the suburban and took the train just to be with her. Now he is struggling to develop a conversation with her.

He finally got the courage and asked her

" So what is bringing you to City T , are you going for a break" Asking her as if he doesn't know

She didn't mind sharing her info, something made her comfortable. she was thinking herself ' why do I feel like I m closer to him, it's like I have spent days with him.

"What happened, did I ask you something wrong, why not responding Gao Ling"

she realized her mistake " Sorry I was thinking about something, No I just finished my degree in University C, going to City T for work, please call me Ling and how should I address you"

"Oh Great, you are going to start your career, Congratulations in order. Welcome to City T, it's huge city in the country and still very nice. By the way, please call me Mingyu, that will do"

"Are you also from City T, Mingyu"

He just gave smile which is rare by the way" Yes I m currently living in City T . So have you figured out about your stay and stuff in new place or your work is helping you with that. Or do you have a family in City T" sorry for asking two many questions. But he is desperate to know about her plans, that is something he couldn't figure out.

"Actually Mingyu, I don't have any real family. only my grandma is there but she is currently in country F with my cousin. I also don't know anything about accommodation, I will be staying at local hotel somewhere and search for a decent place. though I asked help from my company, but they refused to provide any"

Hearing her saying that company didn't provide any help Mingyu blood was boiling inside, still kept a calm face in front of her.

"Ling, do you want me to help you with your accommodation, I know few places"

she refused to get from a stranger who she met just an hour ago, plus she didn't want to owe anything to rich people.

"No thanks Mingyu, I really appreciate your help. but I will be fine don't worry urself about it"

"Ling, do me one thing, this is my no. if you face any difficulty in CITY T, just give me a msg or call, do not hesitate and don't worry you don't have to do anything in return"

she bit her lip thinking how he read her mind about not owing anything, without over thinking, she noted his no on the phone. " thanks so much Mingyu I will definitely call you if I need any help"

" Ling I just remembered that I have an important call to make, I will just step outside and will be back in five minutes"

she noded her head in response. she was surprised by his helping gesture, she always thought all rich people are arrogant and rude with commoners. why does he appears to be very different.

on the other side, Mingyu gave a call to his secretary, "Jiang Yu, Find out who is responsible for not helping Gao Ling with accommodation. I need a answer in ten minutes. don't call me, msg me"

Jiang Yu could feel the anger of his devil boss. He also remember correctly instructing about her accommodation to the concerned department.

He made a quick call to the recruitment department head, Qing Yun answered the phone with excitement.

She was happy to get a call president office and hoping to see handsome president if possible.

she didn't realize that she is going to literally in hell.
