Emma Frost

On the same day, Nurmengard, Germany.

A black fortress stood on the edge of a hill in a range of mountains that stretched all the way to the horizon, and the rising sun shone through the snow-capped mountains, illuminating everything in its light of dawn.

The fortress was constructed of stone. It had a tower with a cone-shaped top, which could have been a watchtower. There was a slim building with windows connected to the tower.

As snowflakes fell from the sky, various wizards wielding wands can be seen patrolling the surrounding pine forests. The entire atmosphere was solemn and depressing.

At that moment, the space in front of the castle began to twist, revealing a figure as a gust of wind erupted from her position and the space distortion was subsidized by her appearance.

A beautiful woman with long blond hair and blue eyes looked solemnly at the castle before her. She wore a slouchy shift dress with mod boots, a signature fur cape, and gold "X" fasteners.

Her outfit was all white as she was also known as the "White Queen."

She was none other than Emma Frost who teleported from Berlin to here using a special portkey.

There was a massive black gate in front of her, and she also turned and looked at various wizards in the patrol to her for a brief moment before continuing on with their jobs.

They seemed to knew off Emma Frost arrival before hand.

*Rumble*

When she started walking into it, the black gate automatically opened.

"The Lord is expecting you, Emma Frost." A woman with dark hair and a hat on her combed hair stood in front of the black door, speaking indifferently to the mutant in front of her. While looking at Emma, her eyes were filled with contempt.

"Lead the way!" Emma spoke in a flat tone, completely ignoring the woman's actions without even a glance in her direction.

Carrow clutched her wand, determined to teach this mutant a lesson. Her actions, however, came to a halt, and her eyes became hollow, as Emma simply looked at her and continued on with the same flat tone. "Lead the way."

"Yes." Carrow said in a dazed tone, opening the black door and walking into the fortress, followed by Emma.

The black door closed automatically as they walked in.

They were soon walking in a corridor with velvet carpet that was detailed with white lines, and many other wizards passed by Emma, each wearing a badge or symbol made of a triangle, circle, or line.

Unlike Carrow, the majority of the wizards greeted Emma with respect.

Emma smiled as she responded to their greetings.

They soon found themselves in front of large wooden doors, and Carrow spoke up at the same time, in the same dazed voice.

"Lord is in this drawing room; please enter."

"Leave." Emma ordered without looking at her, and Carrow immediately left the location without staying.

Emma's expression finally changed, becoming solemn and serious; she also immediately raised her mental defenses and took a deep breath to calm down her turbulent emotions.

She was reacting this way because she was about to meet Grindelwand himself. Despite the fact that she had worked under him for a long time, facing him still made her nervous.

*Knock* She knocked on the door and waited.

"Emma, come on in." A deep voice rang out from within, and the door opened on its own.

Emma walked into the room, and the massive door slammed shut behind her.

Inside the room, there were tables, chairs, a desk, book cabinets, a gold chandelier, a stove, and other items. The walls were red and yellow with a pattern on them. On the walls were also six different heraldic symbols. At the far end of the room, there was a large window and a staircase leading down to a lower level with a table, chair, and table. A narrow staircase led up the staircase and into the tower.

She saw a man with light blond hair, and he had blue eyes. He also had a thin white moustache. He was wearing a black suit and holding a cup of coffee in one hand while reading the newspaper in the other. He had taken a seat in the chair.

The headlines were bold, and the man smiled as he read the headlines and saw the moving picture of the woman who thought she had arrested him in the newspaper.

The man was none other than Gellert Grindelwand.

The current holder of the legendary elder wand!

That was no ordinary wand; for it had been crafted by the legendary goddess of death herself!

"It's been a while, Emma." Grindelwand placed the newspaper on the nearby glass table.

He greeted her and motioned for her to take the seat in front of him.

"Certainly, Sir." Emma spoke in a solemn tone, sat in the chair in front of him, and began taping her fingers on the chair's handle while staring at Grindelwand with solemnity.
