Chapter 6 - Classes and different grades

The whole world had turned dark. Storms were taking place all over the world. Heavy rain was making everything wet. Strong winds were forcefully pulling tree roots out and taking the trees with them. People in the whole world were turning into Zombies. At least 50 percent of people had turned into zombies, and more people became zombies after being beaten by others. In short, the whole world was in chaos.

Somewhere in the world, Isaac was killing Zombies. In just a few minutes, hundreds of villagers who had turned into zombies were killed by Isaac. The Executioner of Nightmares was dyed with red blood. Half of the village was now wrecked.

[Ding! The host has leveled up. The host has received 5 free stats points.]

Seeing that no more zombies were coming from the village, Isaac stood at the village entrance and took a moment to learn more about his stats.

"Stats" Isaac shouted in his mind. A blue transparent screen appeared in his retina.

"Before the whole world went crazy, instead of showing level the system showed my cultivation rank. If I remember correctly I only leveled up 3 times but means before the apocalypse started my level was only 7. So this shows that every being with cultivation will have a certain level. Meaning people with higher levels will have an advantage in this Apocalyptic world."

[Ding! Now that the Apocalypse has started the evaluation system has adopted to a new ranking system. The cultivators who were in silver rank will be in somewhere from level 1 to level 25.

· 1st phase of Silver rank - Level 1 to level 3

· 2nd phase of Silver rank - Level 4 to level 6

· 3rd phase of Silver rank - Level 7 to level 9

· 4th phase of Silver rank - Level 10 to level 12

· 5th phase of Silver rank - Level 13 to level 15

· 6th phase of Silver rank - Level 16 to level 20

· 7th phase of Silver rank - Level 21 to level 25]

[For cultivators who were in Gold rank their levels will also change according to the which phase of cultivation they previously were in.

· 1st phase of Silver rank - Level 26 to level 30

· 2nd phase of Silver rank - Level 31 to level 35

· 3rd phase of Silver rank - Level 36 to level 40

· 4th phase of Silver rank - Level 41 to level 45

· 5th phase of Silver rank - Level 46 to level 56

· 6th phase of Silver rank - Level 57 to level 70

· 7th phase of Silver rank - Level 71 to level 100]

"System, how did I get spearman class?" Isaac was wondering how come he got this class. Isaac did not like this class at all.

[Ding! The system has chosen this class by default when the host gained EX and leveled up. Now the host has two more empty class slots left. After the host breaks through level 25 with three classes individually, the class slots will also increase.]

"System, show how many types of classes are there?" Isaac felt he needed to give some strong thoughts on his classes. Maybe acquiring some strong classes will greatly boost Isaac's stats and powers. Isaac had something that no one in the whole world didn't have, Isaac wanted to take full advantage of that and quickly get stronger.

[Rare classes: - Puppet Master, Bishop, Trapsmith, Viking, Maiden, Mystic Knight, Windwalker, Crusader, Trickster, Beastmaster, Magehunter, Ghostwalker, Skymage, Battlemage, Paragon Knights, Demonologist, Dread Weaver, Shadow Seer, Corrupt Battlemage, Armored Engineer, Corrupted Tempest, Venom Samurai, Demonic Paragon, Pyro Witch Doctor, Demon Conjurer, Battle Brawler, Pyro Legionnaire, Necromancer, Nightwalker, Night Ranger, Magician, Archmage, Demon Hunter, Arachnomancer, Gunslinger, and so on...]

[Mythical Classes: - Blade Dancer, Stormlord, Stormsinger, Hero, Sunmaster, Wardancer, Dragon Knight, Illusion Sorcerer, Shadow Master, Armageddon Warmaster, Frost Sorcerer, Cataclysmic Seer, Battle Marauder, Warlock, Sage, Lightning Master, Fire Master, Water Master, Earth Master, Wind Master and so on...]

The list of classes was so long that Isaac felt it would take him literally a few days to go through all the classes.

[Ding! Currently, the host only has eligibility to get normal grade classes. The host must complete certain requirements if the host wants to get Rare or Mythical grade classes.]

[Ding! In this age, the evolution system will help every being get stronger by absorbing a part of the soul killed in the form of experience points.]

'So I became stronger by absorbing the Zombie's souls.' Isaac had no feelings toward the people who had turned into zombies. Isaac also noticed that after leveling up to level 10, the amount of EX that he needed to level up increased.

"I will have to kill high-level living beings to level up."

"Hey, you!" Isaac stopped looking at these stats and focused on the brave young person that stood in front of him. Isaac noticed that the whole remaining villagers had gathered together.

Isaac noticed the gore scene at the village entrance. The whole field was dyed with red blood and parts of Zombies. If Isaac had seen such a scene before his Mother and sister's death then he would have been traumatized. But due to the passive skill Heart of Ice, Itsuki felt nothing from seeing such a thing. Even without Isaac realizing his emotion was being sealed up.

Before Isaac assumed that everyone in the village had turned into zombies but now that there were some people who survived the Mana wave. There were approximately 50 people along with a few injured ones who survived the mana wave.

"Look I am sorry for what happened. But I needed to kill them otherwise Zombie would have attacked me and turned me into a Zombie." Isaac felt it would be the right thing to just apologize and explain to them why Isaac killed the villagers who had turned into a zombie. Isaac knew that all the villagers were connected. Isaac has technically killed their relatives and loved ones.

Isaac was then about to walk away from the village as he needed to go to the Ceraun Kingdom. Isaac wanted to reach the Ceraun Kingdom before everything changed completely. Even though many things had changed with the unexpected starting of the apocalypse, Isaac's goal still remained the same and he wished to meet his mother's father.

"Hey wait"

"You can't just walk away after killing our relatives and villagers."

"Everyone attack." Hearing the villagers' dumb words, Isaac frowned. Isaac turned around with a cold look.

"Are you all idiots or what? Did you people not see and hear the Evolution System words and warnings."

"Yes, we did but they were still our parents, relatives, and our kind. You have no right to kill them. People like you should be killed." Said the young man who looked like the leader of this gang. Hearing the young man's words, the frown on Isaac's face deepened.

"So what do you want to do now?" A cold light flashed in Isaac's eyes. If these ungrateful villagers say something unreasonable then Isaac won't hesitate to kill every one of them. Isaac doesn't give a shit about the lives of these villagers. The Heart of Ice was keeping Isaac's emotions in check so Isaac was able to think things very clearly.

The young man's eyes landed on Itsuki's Executioner of Nightmares for a moment. His eyes flashed in greed. Earlier he just saw how Itsuki killed everyone with this red spear. The young man named Jack believed that he could also become powerful with this golden staff.

"We the villagers will forgive you if you hand us your weapon." The cold look on Isaac's eyes deepened. "You ungrateful villagers, trying to kill the very hand that saved your life."

Isaac then sensed multiple beings were coming toward the village. Isaac's senses were many times sharper than a normal average human. Isaac could feel what exactly was going to this village.

Roar!!!

The villager's expressions changed when they heard the monster's roaring sound. The young man named Jack, also had his expression changed. Jack immediately knew that their village was under attack.

The faces of Jack and all the villagers turned pale from fright. Even though they have been living in the middle of a forest for as long as they can remember, no monster or beasts from the forest has ever attacked the village. But with the apocalypse, the monsters had become more violent and their thirst for blood only increased.

"Just in time." Isaac smiled as he took out the last teleportation orb. Jack seeing the teleportation orb knew that Isaac was about to abandon them. Jack immediately kneeled in front of Isaac.

"Benefactor, please save us. We will be your salves. Please take us with you." If Isaac at this moment didn't have the passive skill Heart of Ice, then he would have given some pity to these hypocrites and taken them with him.

"Take you all hypocrites with me? Na. I know for a fact that snakes can change their skin but not their character. Besides what benefits you guys can provide me? Taking you people as my slave would mean, carrying extra weights in an Apocalyptic world. I don't see any benefits from saving your lives." To the current Isaac, it was all about himself. Isaac didn't give a shit about anyone else. Even if Isaac saves these people's lives, he would get nothing in return. Besides his teleportation orb can only teleport one person.

Under all the horrified gazes of the villagers, Isaac teleported away as a golden light surrounded his body. In the next minute, from all 4 directions, countless beasts charged into the village. Under the rain, the screams of the villagers were heard throughout the forest.
