Chapter Twelve

Asher

Brenton

Today was the day I finally avenge my sister.

I heard the cheerleaders' squeals, the hoots from the team's mascot, the trumpets and the roaring crowds with my mask on. The golden boy should be alone by any moment, my hand gripped the plastic bag that had the drugs as my feet stuck to the side of the changing room where the team was.

The alarms, the security cameras were all dismantled as well as the security officers that were locked in the underground warehouse of the school. The small map that I drew was in my hoodie pocket, I memorized each space in the building.

"Are you guys ready to kick some asses?" The coach asked, every team member screamed in unison as they lined up and I made sure they didn't see me from the corner of the room. The coast was clear when they presented themselves.

Luckily for me, Leslie was the last guy. All of them ran across the stadium, but he didn't have the chance to. I bashed him against the wall from behind and he tried to take my hands off, but it was late when I filled the drugged tissue into his nosetrils. He fought with his eyes closed, but his body collapsed in defeat when I carried him on my shoulder.

I constricted my hold on him as I bolted out from the staff backdoor, there was an exit on the right side. My eyes stayed like a hawk, but I had no issues since everyone were out on the bleachers.

Never let them catch you. My conscience informed as I listened to faint chatters behind me.

"Where is Leslie?" It was the coach's voice.

"He was just behind me. I really don't know coach." Matt's voice replied.

I kicked the half-open backdoor and slipped through with his body. My adrenaline reached my brain, I needed to keep my cool. The best thing about the school was that it was situated next to the waterfall and a hill to instant death.

This time with a twist. The second hill behind covered us from the eyes of people and it was empty.

Leslie was still passed out when I landed his body harshly on the grass, I took the thick blindfold and tied it around his head before he could breathe again.

I stepped on his stomach in disdain. I wanted to end him right here and right now. But I had to make him suffer from the unexpected just like my sister's pain.

His body twitched as I removed my boot from his abdomen and he was awake.

"Where am I?" His voice croaked out.

As I sat on the hill and enjoyed the show when he stood up and circled blindly with arms in front.

"Is anyone here?" He called out. He traced his footsteps to the next hill in front of us. Just four more steps to his death.

I bent my knees as my crave to push him and get rid of him grew.

"Help me!" He hollered. "This isn't a funny prank guys!"

It was an insult when he didn't think it was me. I had good tactic skills.

Three more steps to go as he moved more to the side of the hill. This was mt victory and nobody could take it away from me, this was a part of the reason why I didn't want the police to arrest him. I should be the one to end him. I took my mask off and hugged my knees, my hands clasped with each other in the middle.

He was facing the wrath that I had been living through. From the loss of my closest friend to Averly that cried every night from him, he chose to be brutal to her and I chose to kill him for what he did.

I tasted pure disappointment when I saw him living. Guys like him shouldn't even exist. He thought that nobody knew it was him and he didn't expect me to retaliate when he felt my ignorance.

He didn't even care, he moved on with his life after clearly murdered my sister without any thought in the world.

"Stop Leslie!"

"Kalina?"

Bloody hell.
