Chapter 93

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!"

Holding Yui's hand, Yuno's Screeching Scream spell reaches a high note that no one without magical or technological assistance could ever reach. From her cute tiny mouth and deep inside her lungs, a surge of wind blasts outward, creating actual soundwaves that the eyes can clearly see.

Since her younger sister has already used this spell once, it is going to be at least a day until she can do it again. So to dispel Hero's Gaia's Fist, Yuno would be the one to use Screeching Scream. Thanks to the combination of power between them, the spell is both easier to use with fewer side effects and is more effective.

Before attacking, the twin has had a serious discussion about what to do under Sound Proof. Upon seeing the Hero ripping apart a building so easy just like that, they believed that to escape, they would need to temporarily incapacitate the Earth spell.

With that thing swirling around, they will never be able to escape. There is no certainty that it will not reach them when they are trying to run. Even though he did not attack the exact place the two were hiding in, the destruction capability of that spell was beyond level 6 by a huge margin. It should be a level 6.5, or even higher. This is why Yui has proposed to cancel his magic before they make a run. And there is no better way to do so than Screeching Scream.

First, Yui would use Wind magic to redirect her words towards the Hero. Rather than attacking him directly, she would make his mind filled with fatigue and fear. Lacking battle experience, the Hero did not know what to do when facing an invisible enemy. Rather, he would just launch his attacks toward the sound instinctively, creating chances for the two. And it was exactly what Yui was looking for. After startling the Hero two more times, she thought that was enough to finally let Yuno use the spell.

He was definitely on high alert, but he was also extremely sensitive because of that attention. The Hero was instinctively concentrating on his hearing. Therefore, the moment was perfect for a mind-numbing scream.

The moment Hero turned his back, sound waves coming from Yuno have already enveloped his whole body. Although he was being protected by many layers of protection, he was still heavily under the impact of the spell.

The sound waves quickly spread through the Ice Shields, his buffs, and his armor into his ears.

Immediately, his eyes turn white as the pupils go up, effectively stunning him. Right after, Gaia's Fist crumbles to the ground with tremendously loud sounds.

*Thud*

The hero falls to the ground, unconscious. His whole body twitches uncontrollably.

This is their chance.

"Run now!" Yui yells. "There is no way to know when he is waking up! We can not break through his defense!"

Their bodies shine a warm light, strengthening their physical capabilities.

"Yui doesn't have to tell Yuno twice!" With her voice being coarse after using Screeching Scream, Yuno says.

Holding on to each other's hands, the twin sisters run into the air in a hurry. They have no time to lose as the Hero can wake up at any second.

Space Magic: Space Walk.

"We need to get to Sam. If Nycta is there, then we may have a chance as long as she combines our consciousness together with her magic!" Being pulled by her big sister, Yui explains.

"Yuno gets it. Yuno can feel them right ahead of us. We only need two minutes to get to Sam!"

*BAM*

"Does Yui hear that?" Yuno looks at the source of the sound. It is right in front of her.

"Yes," Yui replies with a bit of excitement. "That is probably Sam trying to break this thing down!"

"We need to hurry up, Yui!" Yuno smiles. She finally gets to see him.

Yui nods with strength. "With pleasure!!"

*BAM!*

The sound grows larger. Someone from the outside is trying desperately to get in.

"This Ice Dome is freaking tough!" Yuno sighs.

Yui looks at the Ice above her head. "It should be a level 7 spell. The bastard used it to try and capture us, after all."

"Yuno saw the waves being higher than these buildings!!"

"Yeah, that is why it should be a level 7."

"Then why didn't that fucker use a level 7 spell to kill us? Yuno doesn't understand."

Yui ponders for a while. "Yui thinks that he either has no spell that good, or he was not trying to kill us."

Yuno then clearly shows a face of disgust. "Blergh!!"

"Yes, my older sister, Blergh!!"

As they keep on running, about 30 seconds later, the Hero slowly stands up. While clutching his painful head and his still ringing ears, he tries to remember what just happened.

"GOD FUCKING DAMN YOU ALL!!!" Screams the Hero as he grabs tightly onto his staff.

Gravity Magic: Flight.

His body is then lifted into the air without a sound. Unlike the twins who have to run, the Hero is just simply floating as if there is no gravity pulling him down. He looks at the two trying to escape with contempt and rage. This is the second time he has been stunned, and he does not appreciate that feeling one bit. The sense of losing control over his entire body is not something that the Hero would like. Not to mention that screaming is horrendous to human ears.

"I WILL FUCK THE TWO OF YOU UP!!"

There are many things that he is thinking of. He can fire a gigantic Fire Ball or Laser Beam. But that will just destroy the two immediately. What he wants is to catch them, and humiliate their bodies in front of Sam.

Similar to how they managed to humiliate him, he will return it tenfold, starting with Yui and Yuno first.

However, to do so, he would need to keep them alive. That is much harder than killing them off since he needs to keep their bodies mostly unharmed.

*Whoosh*

He flies toward them with his staff ready in hand. With his ridiculous affinity for magic, he can be proficient in any element there is. Thanks to that, the distance is quickly shortened between two parties in a blink of an eye.

"Shit! He's already here!" Exclaims Yuno.

Seeing that, Yui makes the decision. "Yuno! Ready the Metal Chains!!"

From Yuno's other hand, a bunch of metal chains appears. With a quick hand motion, she wraps the chains around the two of them.

*Swing*

Hero waves his staff in the air, and the ground underneath Yui and Yuno cracks open. From there, two rocky arms half the size of Gaia's Fist manifest. They shoot upward and open their five fingers, trying to grab the two girls running in mid-air.

"Throw it!" Yells Yui.

"Yuno got it!!"

*Clang clang*

With all her might, Yuno launches the metal chains into one of the buildings around them. Her hand clutches it tightly and the other one holds Yui close. Since her little sister has her left arm totally busted, she needs to really make sure Yui does not fall.

*Crash*

The two rocky fists hit an invisible barrier. Sadly, the barrier cannot stop them for so long as they break through in less than a second. But Yui has already had Yuno prepared for it. She just looks at Yuno.

Making a strong nod, Yuno hugs her younger sister. "Hold on tight, Yui!"

They jump off the invisible ledge where they are standing. Thanks to the metal chains, they can pull themselves to one side, dodging the attack coming straight at them at a close distance. If they missed the jump just by half a second, they would have been captured by the Hero.

*Stomp*

One more invisible platform is created by Yui for the twins to step on rather than fall onto the earth. That would be an extremely bad idea.

"Give up now if you want to live!" Seeing his attack misses, the Hero is very uncomfortable. "Final chance!!"

On the run, Yui turns her head toward him. " Go fuck yourself."
