The king had banished the ideology of black magic. Those who broke this rule were given strict punishment by the king. Now here his own mother went against him breaking the rule.

It was a full moon night. The sky was covered lightly with the clouds. Wind breeze were slow in motion. Sounds made by different creatures could be heard. The moon illuminated the area around the moutain. Two figures,  riding horses headed to the mountain in a furry. The horses stopped as soon as they came close to a tree near by the mountain. The figures got down and tied the horses thr horses there.

"Are you sure that this is where it is?" A whisper came from one. "Yes, I am, your majesty." The other.

They walked to the mountain. "Meera, where is the entrance?" The mother queen demanded. "Your majesty, we are here." She pointed to a cave. Deep in there small light could be seen and a low female voice chanting something.

They walked in not making a sound. The Queen was astound to see the scenario. The cave was lighted up by the bonfire. The walls had many scriptures or pictographs. They saw a woman chanting something, who was a beautiful woman they had ever seen, sitting close to the bonfire and a vulture close to her staring at them. Both of them gulped.

"Kira. We are here." The maid said. The woman slowly opened her eyes looking upon them. She was a pretty woman. "My majesty." She bowed to the Queen mother. "At your service." She replied smirking. "How can I help?" She asked.

"Yes." The queen mother sighed. "He is not having a heir. It has been 3 years and the we are not having a prince." She replied. "Your majesty. I shall help you in this situation. But I need something in return." She smiled to them. "What is it?" The queen mother demanded.

"A bundle of gold coins and assurance that you will not report about my black magic to the king." She sat in a demanding manner on the stone. "Okay. It shall be done." She assured the witch.

The witch's lips drew wider.

They agreed and parted. The queen did what she was said by the witch. Soon the news arrived that the queen was pregnant. Happiness filled the royal family. After 8 months the King and Queen were blessed with a prince. The Kingdom roared the arrival of the prince. People cheered and blessed the prince.

Today it is his first birthday. The kingdom is preparing for his first birthday. The royal family was way too happy. "Ah, look at my son. He looks so cute in this dress." The queen said as she picked the prince after she had dressed him.

"Ah, is my grandson ready to take a round of the kingdom?" Queen mother entered with maids following her. "Oh, look who is here." The queen said as she picked him. "Babababa" He babbled as he saw his grandma. His babbling made everyone in the room to smile. "Dear, where is the King?" Queen mother asked concerned. "He has gone to the court mother." She replied looking at her son. "Alright we shall be heading out." Queen mother said. She was the last one to go out. But before heading out. "Oops sorry Kira." She smirked and exited the room with her maid.

"Yes, your majesty." The general bowed and left.

He was all alone in the court. He covered his face with hands. He didn't want to hurt any of his citizens but when it came to witchcraft he just can't. His stepmother was a witch who intended to kill his father so that his uncle could rule. But luckily his father was saved from that accident by his mother. The incident took life of his uncle.
