Tóm tắt

Link has crossed over to a world of swords and magic! In this realm, there are not only mages who cultivate mental power and warriors who train in fighting spirit, but also summoners who can call forth powerful battle pets! Yet, all Link wants is to be a lazy fish—one that eats, sleeps, and wakes up just to eat again! Little did he know, fate had other plans, granting him a golden finger: an entire realm of the undead. By constructing necromantic buildings, he can summon endless undead creatures and upgrade them infinitely! From that moment on, he earned many legendary titles across the continent: Godslayer, Necromancer, Master of Bone Dragons, King of the Undead... "But all I really want is to be a lazy fish!" Link lamented, gazing helplessly at the sky.

Chapter 1Summoner Talent

"Master Link, wake up! The master is calling for you right away!"

It was noon at the Lawrence family estate.

In a lavishly decorated room, a young servant, dressed in servant attire, anxiously shook Link, who was still in bed.

"Ron, what on earth are you doing? Can't you see I'm trying to sleep?" Link grumbled, shifting to a more comfortable position and closing his eyes again.

"Master, please don't sleep any longer!" Ron said, exasperated. "I heard the master has specially hired a mid-level mage from the imperial capital to test your cultivation talent!"

"Talent test?"

Upon hearing those words, Link waved his hand dismissively without a second thought.

"I'm not going!"

"Master!"

Ron looked helplessly at Link, who was buried under the blankets like a slug, and then glanced at the glaring sunlight outside. He couldn't help but feel a wave of frustration wash over him.

He simply couldn't understand how Link had become like this.

The original Link, while not particularly diligent, was certainly not lazy.

But ever since he declared two months ago that he would venture into the Beast Mountain Range for training, he had returned in this utterly lethargic state!

Sleeping twenty hours a day!

Aside from eating and using the restroom, he hardly ever got out of bed!

What the hell, was there any difference from being dead?

Seeing that Link showed no signs of getting up, Ron had no choice but to call a few servants to lift the entire bed and hurry toward the family meeting room.

At that moment, the Lawrence family's conference hall was already filled with several family members. "Is this the young master?"

An old man with a white beard and a magic hat looked at Link, sprawled out on the bed and still fast asleep, and couldn't help but ask.

"Well… my son is a bit lazy; I apologize for the trouble, Master Kri!"

Bruno Lawrence's face flushed with embarrassment as he kicked Link's backside.

"Ow! Master, don't go!"

Link shouted, suddenly springing up from the bed!

But as he stood up, the surrounding female members of the Lawrence family screamed and quickly turned away, their faces flushed!

It turned out Link was used to sleeping naked, standing there completely exposed, his thick leg hair glistening in the sunlight!

"Dad, why did you kick me?"

At that moment, Link finally took in his surroundings and muttered in dissatisfaction at Bruno.

"Brat, get over here right now!"

Bruno trembled with anger, pointing at Link and scolding, "I went through great lengths to invite Master Kri to test your cultivation talent, and you, you lazy bum, have been sleeping until now! Don't you have any sense of shame?"

"Oh, fine!"

Link rubbed his sleepy eyes, then spread his legs and got out of bed, causing the crowd around him to gasp in shock!

"Could you please put on some clothes first!!!"

Bruno's lips twitched as he struggled to suppress the urge to slap this unfilial son, shouting loudly.

"Oh, alright!"

Link replied, only then noticing that there were quite a few ladies present. However, he felt no shame; instead, he proudly wiggled his hips before leisurely walking to the bedside to get dressed.

It wasn't until he was fully clothed that Kri, the intermediate mage who had been standing there, wiped the cold sweat from his forehead and remarked to Bruno, "Your young master is truly extraordinary!"

Cough!

Bruno's face flushed with embarrassment, and he quickly changed the subject. "Master, can we conduct the talent test now?"

"Of course!"

Kri nodded and took out a peculiar stone that was entirely light blue from his bag. He then said to Link, "Young Master Link, please hold this 'Magic Stone' and focus your mind on it!"

"Alright!"

Link nodded absently, stepped forward, grasped the stone, and closed his eyes.

But before long, a series of rhythmic snores began to fill the air—Link had fallen asleep...

"This…"

Kri and Bruno exchanged glances, both stunned by the sight before them!

He could sleep while standing, and he was sleeping so soundly!

How tired could he possibly be?

Thud!

Bruno kicked Link awake once more.

"Huh? Is the test over?" Link asked in surprise.

"Test? Are you kidding? Can't you stay awake for a moment?" Bruno shouted in exasperation.

"Uh… fine!"

Link's face fell. Honestly, he just wanted to be a lazy fish; why did he have to undergo a talent test? Even if he did have talent, he had no desire to cultivate!

A few minutes later, the "Magic Stone" remained as unresponsive as ever, prompting Kri to shake his head.

"Your young master lacks the talent for magic cultivation."

"Oh!"

At this announcement, Bruno and the surrounding members of the Lawrence family all shook their heads in disappointment.

"Everyone, don't be too quick to sigh. In our Roland Continent, there are three major combat professions. Although your young master cannot cultivate magic, he might still have the potential to cultivate battle aura!"

With that, Kri pulled out a blood-red stone from his bag.

"Young Master Link, please hold this 'Battle Aura Stone' and focus your mind on it!"

"Oh."

Link nodded, taking the stone in a routine manner. At that moment, all he wanted was to quickly finish these formalities and return to his much-desired sleep.

"Now you see?" she shouted in a mix of annoyance and disappointment. "You can't outsmart Scrients! They're the most intelligent beings across the two realms." "You're right," I muttered, averting my gaze with a heavy sigh. "I made a mistake. I was too arrogant to think that a mere human like me could fool them." —BOOM!! "Heik! Wh-What was that?" "Hmm? I'm not sure. Maybe you should go and ask the most intelligent beings across the two realms. Oh wait, you can't. I killed them all.” ______ My name is Samael Kaizer Theosbane. On the last day of high school, I got into a fight with a kid I used to bully. It was a stupid, pointless scuffle, and in the middle of it, I tripped and hit my head on a rock. That’s when the memories came flooding in - the memories of another life, of a different world. Suddenly, everything made a twisted kind of sense. I realized two things. First, I was in a game I used to play in my past life. Second, I was a villain. A villain! Not the cool and mysterious kind, either. No, my destiny was to be manipulated and die a dog's death! I was the worst type of cliché: an ungrateful, privileged, insufferable young master. The sort you'd find in those poorly written fantasy stories. The kind everyone hates — a snobby brat from a powerful noble family who thinks he owns the world just because he was born with a silver spoon lodged in his mouth. You know the type. The one the hero beats to a pulp to prove his worth. Yeah, I was that guy. And the hero? The hero was the kid I’d been bullying all this time. The same one I got into a fight with. He was the supposed savior of this damned world. A world teetering on the edge of destruction, beset by wars, calamities, and a grim future that only I knew. And at the end of it all, the final antagonist of the game, the undefeatable boss… the Spirit King, was waiting. But could I even make it to the end? Could I conquer a game where defeat was the only certainty? A game that was now my reality! “Ah, fuck it.” I had no idea if I could, but I sure as hell was going to try. Extorting extras, manipulating main characters, twisting the story to my advantage, stealing the hero’s cheat items, killing villains before they could become threats - nothing was beneath me. Would the main characters be affected? Who cares! Would the story change? Even better! All I cared about was me—my survival, my life, my choices. “I will live this life with no regrets.” …But as I soon discovered, fate was not easily changed. And the price of altering one's destiny was steep.
