I’m an OP Glitch

2031... A year crazy as hell.

How many days has it been? Oh, wait... Months. Yes... 10 months. 10 months since the first moment I glitched. The moment not only my body, but even my memories started to distort.

"Tameoshi!!!!! You bastard!!!!!"

That... That was a member of my team. The girl who betrayed us... Well... Can't kill her right now, cause I have a lot more important job than killing traitors.

Dash! Dash!

I dashed twice through the air over two buildings. Not a moment to rest. Two elite-ranked Gears were flying behind me with wing-suits on their backs.

I was racing against a team of bounty hunters, cops, Blackjacks, Rollers, and worst... Gears. All of them were fucking heroes. But compared to me; the villain of the current situation, all of them were weak.

Haha!

"Tameoshi!!!! Why are you doing this! All we wanted to do was to put an end to this! Wasn't that our target! Why are you doing this now!!! Answer me, Tameoshi!!!"

The girl's scream reverberated in my ears. The memories flowed back to my head like water. Yet, I couldn't stop myself.

The memories weren't enough to recreate a past that I can't get back. We can't change back time with memories.

I turned to take a glance at my best friend... Last best friend.

She was dressed in a suit with a pattern of blue lines and circles. The magnificent suit of a Gear.

My memories... The images in my head were distorted.

"Tsu-chan!" A voice called out to me. And then there was it again. The images in my head, tearing into pieces, pixelating somehow... Like the glitch in a game.

My head was a system now. I was a friggin inhuman being.

"Sorry... But I have to do this for Mitsu, Senpai!" I said to her, more like whispered to myself.

Blast! Blast!

Laser beams were charging at me from the back. None of them managed to reach me as I warped.

My power had many of its unique abilities. And at this moment, I used the warp. It teleported me and the beam would pass right through the place where I was before.

Each time I glitched, my heart, my mind, my soul... All of them broke into pieces. And dragging every piece back to place, to form them again... That's the reason she existed.

"You traitor! Your wife! Your daughter! Both of them! They are watching you and crying every single day!" the girl yelled to me as I leaped my way through, towards my target.

The crack portal that obtained the secret to the gateway... So the scientists spoke of the great gateway. It was a gateway to finally make the impossible, possible.

A hatch that made the Time skip, dimension skip, and the light jump possible. That hatch was the next-level technology. We thought we were at the peak, but we weren't.

'For you, Mitsu... Daddy will love you forever after we have opened this hatch! I will regain every moment that I should've spent with you! I will regain everything!' I told myself as I ran.

My heart was beating three times faster than a normal human's.

Yes... Everything I lost, I am going to regain. Everything I wished for, I will attain it. None can defeat me for I follow a path, not of a broken villain, but a broken father.

Three buildings away from the crack portal...

I can hear the boost of their wingsuits rising as the moment passed. I couldn't fear more. I didn't come here to die, but I came here to bring someone back from the dead...

Zing! Zing!

I teleported twice in mid-air and I was right above the crack portal. Every time I did so, there was strange sound every single time.

The crack portal was damn enormous. It had five pillars built with white metal and it had a blue pattern carved into the pillars.

Just as I was about to drop into the middle of the five pillars, she appeared in front of me.

"Tameoshi!!! I'll give you one chance! Please... Don't make me hurt you!" the girl said, lowering her voice.

I couldn't stop... I had to keep going. No matter what. This was a chance to make a change in my life. This was a chance to bring back my future.

"I can't stop, Senpai! I have to move on!"

I didn't warp. I landed in front of her this time.

Her face was still beautiful as ever. What a sight, just like the moment I first saw her.

In her left was an enormous blaster. One-shot from that would blow my head off.

"Finally Tameoshi! You're surrounded! Nowhere to run!"

A voice called to me from above. It was a man in a jetpack, but not in my friend's team. He was a bounty hunter. The rudest one to be precise.

Amazing knight-like helmet, green and white armor, armed with blasters on both sides of that elite jacket.

Shidou... That was his name.

"Try to run, like you always do, Tameoshi!" the man said. His voice was like an AI's. It was definitely the cause of the helmet.

I wasn't armed. Like most of the time.

"Brother... Have you not known me? I never lose..." I said to the man.

Blast!

Someone fired a shot. There was a hole in the bounty hunter's armor. I made a malicious smile from the corner of my mouth.

"Captain Shidou!!! No!!!!!"

The team members roared out. But he was done for. There was no way they could save him now.

With a thud, the dead man landed on the glass roof we were standing on; making a small crack in the glass.

I know that feeling you have when a comrade dies. It was nothing new for me.

"Tameoshi... You truly are a bastard..."

She spoke up as she saw the dead body. And just as I was about to turn, I heard that click.

The gun was pointed to my head and it was loaded now.

"Bye Tsu..." she pulled the trigger.

Now... How did I become a Glitch? How did I lose everything? Let's go to the very beginning. The day my sad life started. The day I met her.
