Chapter 322 : Unknown Woman 1

Newt Scamander was a British wizard and magizoologist, arrives in New York in 1926 aboard a steamship. He carries with him an enchanted suitcase filled with magical creatures.

As Newt explores the city, a small, mischievous creature called a Niffler manages to escape from his suitcase. Nifflers have an uncontrollable attraction to anything shiny, and this particular one starts to cause trouble, snatching coins and jewels from unsuspecting people on the street.

Newt realizes his Niffler is on the loose and begins chasing after it. His pursuit leads him into a bank, where the Niffler continues to steal valuables, even breaking into a vault. As Newt tries to capture the Niffler, his use of magic in a No-Maj environment catches the attention of Tina Goldstein.

Inside the bank, Newt accidentally bumps into Jacob Kowalski who has come to the bank to apply for a loan.

Jacob's path soon crosses with Newt's again when they both end up near the bank vault where the Niffler is hoarding stolen treasures. In the chaos that follows, Newt uses a series of spells to finally capture the Niffler and return it to his suitcase. Unfortunately, this display of magic has now drawn even more attention, especially from Tina.

Amid the commotion, Jacob, completely bewildered by what he has just witnessed, inadvertently picks up Newt's suitcase, mistaking it for his own. Both Newt and Jacob have similar-looking suitcases, and in the confusion, Jacob walks out of the bank carrying Newt's magical case, while Newt remains inside.

Tina, witnessing all of this, steps in and confronts Newt about his actions.

Meanwhile, Jacob, who is entirely unaware that he is carrying a suitcase full of magical creatures, takes it back to his apartment.

Orion saw all this and smile at how fate somehow connect people who in other times shouldn't have anything to do with each other.

"Well, since Newt is taken to the Ministry by his future wife, I better go after that Muggle, surely there would be trouble with him if he decided to open the briefcase." Orion sigh and follow Jacob, knowing that Newt will be coming after Jacob to take his briefcase soon, it's best to wait for him stay with Jacob for the time being.

But to even his irritation he saw Jacob running into a woman while he was going back to his apartment. And just like any cliche plot of a movie, she too was carrying a very similar looking briefcase which of course got switch with Jacob, Orion seeing this had dark lines on his face.

"What the hell… why can't things go like in the cannon, saving me a little more hard work." He curse under his breath and sigh.

He switch his target and started to trail that woman, only when he observe the woman that he realized that the woman was hella beautiful.

She looked in her early 20s with long black hairs and braids on them, who does that in this time ? And stricking blue eyes.

And though Orion admire her beauty but that was only for a second before he realized that she was also a witch, he can sense magic in her. Though the magic was weak.

'Well at least this won't end up a muggle getting in contact with the magical world.' Orion roll his eyes now wondering whether he should just go on and take the briefcase from her.

But to do that he need to get her briefcase back from Jacob first. " Just my luck…"

Knowing Jacob's identity, it would be hard to find him later on, so right now he needed to find where this witch goes and live. So he kept on following her until she arrived at a very iconic place in New York.

177A Bleecker Street.

Orion narrow his eyes, some how this address felt very suspicious to him for some reason, he tried to search all the Harry Potter knowledge he had but he found nothing regarding this.

If only the boy knew that he was looking at the wrong franchise…

After trailing her to an apartment building, Orion waited a few moments, thinking about how to approach her. Finally, he decided to knock.

He stood at the door, rapping his knuckles on the wood. No response. He knocked again, harder this time, but still nothing. Frustration began to rise in him. Was she deliberately avoiding him, or was she just not inside? He could sense magic lingering in this place, so it has to be that witch's place right ?

Undeterred, Orion knocked a third time, this time with a firm determination. He was about to knock yet again when suddenly, the door swung open. He barely had time to react before the woman he'd been following barreled out of the building in a rush. She didn't even seem to notice him as she brushed past, her eyes focused on something in the distance.

Orion stumbled backward as she bumped into him, trying to steady himself. He quickly realized that she hadn't opened the door for him at all. She was in a hurry, almost as if she was fleeing or late for something important. In her hand, the briefcase was clutched tightly against her chest.

"Hey, wait!" Orion called out, trying to get her attention, but the woman didn't stop. She didn't even slow down. Instead, she darted away, weaving through the crowd on the street.

'Maybe she realized that that it wasn't her briefcase…' Orion sigh and decided to follow her only for for few more people to come out of the same building, with equal or more violent action, 3 people to be exact, they ignore him entirely and run after where the woman went.

"Maybe not…" Orion sigh, seeing another trouble at the Horizon. But then his nose pick up on something.

"Vampires…"
