Chapter 123 : Squib Potion 2 (Bonus Chapter)

The news spread through Hogwarts like wildfire – Filch, the perpetually grumpy caretaker and Squib were using magic. Students and staff alike couldn't believe their eyes as Filch levitated a mop, grinning from ear to ear like a mischievous wizard.

Seeing the smile Orion even thought of just letting the man have his wand but honestly, that wand is just too weak, it will be bad for his product if Filch's power is affected because of a weak wand. Not to mention, wand compatibility is also a thing.

The Great Hall buzzed with chatter as Filch, armed with a wand (Which he bought that day itself by using the school floo network, successfully proclaiming a wand for himself) and a newfound spark in his eyes, performed simple charms to the amazement of the onlookers. It was as if the castle itself was holding its breath, processing the shock of witnessing something deemed impossible for so long.

Students whispered excitedly, exchanging wide-eyed glances. Even the professors, were muttering all the way as excited to the core. Maybe the students didn't understand the real value of this potion which Orion created but they knew.

Currently, the Wizarding community is in decline. After the increase in the squibs being born all over the world and all those wars was the cause of many wizards deads, especially the pure-blood wizards. If something hasn't been done soon then eventually magic would have died down within a couple of generations. Flitwick, the Charms professor, dabbed his eyes with a handkerchief, muttering about witnessing a miracle.

"Did Filch just... use magic?" a first-year stammered, eyes wide like saucers.

"Yeah, I saw it too! Bu.. but how isn't he a hmm Sqiub!" another student exclaimed, still trying to make sense of the magical spectacle.

Orion after making this potion immediately started working on the potion again. What he created was good but only he can make it and the biggest problem is that it takes too much time. After knowing that his formulae is working, now he wanted to create a way for others to make this potion.

He was planning to give away this potion recipe to others for free while the essence is something he will sell separately to earn more money in the future...hehehehee.

----

The revelation of Orion's Squib Potion sent ripples of astonishment through the wizarding world, prompting varied reactions from different quarters.

The Ministry of Magic, initially sceptical, found itself grappling with the implications of this groundbreaking potion. Of course, there are also people who want to use Orion's fame and want to establish a connection with them.

Officials, accustomed to the rigid hierarchy of magical ability, faced a dilemma, Orion is not pure blood after all and usually, they wouldn't give him the credit of this potion no matter what but Dumbledore...

Behind that Mudblood boy stood Dumbledore. Who is he, the greatest wizard of this time.

The potion challenged deeply ingrained beliefs, and debates within the Ministry echoed through the hallowed halls of magical governance.

Squibs, who had long accepted their fate on the fringes of magical society, were met with a surge of hope. Whispers of the Squib Potion spread like wildfire, igniting dreams of magical abilities long thought unattainable.

Now they all were just waiting for the potions to become widely available. Well even after Orion gave away the recipe and made the essence which is quite affordable ultimately it comes down to the other potion masters and whether they can make the potion.

Although Orion makes the process much simpler after that, still very few potion masters can make this potion.

This almost makes Orion, recognize as a potion master, no no...The youngest potion master in history. Snape himself summited Orion's report on the potion master's association.

Needless to say, Orion's frame soared through the sky making him more irritated as he this ordeal was wasting much of his time.

Pure-blood families, steeped in tradition and often resistant to change, were divided. Some viewed the Squib Potion as a revolutionary breakthrough because lo and behold even the pure blood produced squib and this was a chance to change that. (Cough* keeping the royal*Cough* Blood Pure *cough). Others, rooted in archaic beliefs, regarded it with suspicion and skepticism, fearing a disruption of magical purity.

The wizarding world, caught between tradition and transformation, witnessed a wave of discussions and debates. Quibblers and respected magical publications alike featured articles exploring the implications of the Squib Potion, igniting a flurry of public discourse.

As stories of Squibs embracing newfound magical abilities surfaced, Hogwarts became a focal point of attention. The castle, once steeped in its own lore, now stood as a symbol of magical evolution. Students and professors alike engaged in impassioned conversations, questioning the very nature of magical identity.

Of course in the middle of this all was none other than one boy who was determine to turned the world upside down.

Maybe later in his life he could also give the speech about Frame, Money And Power.

----

And while this was happening, Orion kept on working hard to learn Space Law while also protecting Rose.

Rose after the incident was shaken but as time went by, her fear started to disappear and the girl started to turn back into her normal self.

But that was not all, other things were also happening, something which Orion didn't see coming.

Many terrorist attacks of magical nature were happening around the world. Very similar to what happened in the US.

But Orion didn't care about that, why should he care about it? He has more important things to worry about.

Suddenly the attack by Nick stopped, Orion was not sure but there was no attack after Hermione got petrified. And that was months ago.

He knew that Nick only targeted Hermione to push Rose to go to the forest of death.

Not for a second did he think that Nick Iron had given up. Nope, in fact, he knew that he was planning something.

And it happened when no one was expecting.

The news of Hermione's disappearance spread through Hogwarts like wildfire. Whispers and worried glances echoed through the hallowed corridors as students and professors alike tried to make sense of the sudden vanishing of the muggle girl.

In the midst of the growing unease, a sudden hush fell over the crowd as a mysterious message appeared on the stone walls of the castle. The chilling words, written in what seemed to be blood, proclaimed a sinister directive: "To save the girl, one must come to the Chamber of Secrets."

And this was enough for Orion to figure out what happened.

[It's a trap, he wants you to go there.] Merlin said with narrowed eyes.

" I know, that shit played us well." Orion was angry. Nick was using Hermione against him.

He knew that he cared for the girl and this angered him.

He has no idea how Nick even knows that he know the location of the Chamber of Secrets.

Too many questions.

[So what are you planning on doing] Merlin asked. Orion thought didn't respond.

What else he can do in this situation anyway? He knew that something like this would happen, that was why he had working so hard this all time, but still he hadn't mastered the law of Space.

Merlin on the side though thought otherwise.

[If only he knew that he has already mastered it, but just doesn't have enough magic] Merlin slowly shakes his head.

Merlin learned this way back but never told Orion. Reason?

Simple, if he tell Orion then he will absorb the Horcrux or Deadly Hallows which he can't let him do now.

Horcrux may be later when he is a little more mature but Deadly Hallows, never. And thus he too was in a dilemma right now.

"Well, its not like we were not anticipating this. This fight was a long time coming," Orion narrowed his eyes.
