Victor is a sad and abused young wizard who died from muggle abuse in 1973. His soul was replaced with another man from a parallel world. A whole new world awaits this unique boy from another place.
Victor Dale's young body collapsed from exhaustion in an ally way. He was a young boy of 5 years old, on the streets of France. He had lived as an orphan at a local orphanage in the small town of Boute until he was 4 years old. Then the abuse started, the prodding and poking, the needles, and endless questions. Victor couldn't understand why he was the only boy who had to help with these experiments and he would cry or pass out from the amount of pain they inflicted on him.
For an entire year, Victor was experimented on due to his unusual abilities of telekinesis and magical phenomenon that would happen when he was in extreme distress. The truth was, Victor was a wizard and he would have been a talented one, due to feeling his magical source from an early age. He had not had a magical riot yet, but he could control his magic power before then. He could have become an unprecedented genius in the magical world if only his caretakers did not have selfish motives.
Finally, after an entire year of pain, Victor's mind started to collapse. His magic rioted at 5 years old, due to artificial stimulation and the labs in the orphanage were destroyed along with the one who tortured him. He ran from that place as fast and far as he could, he only had one simple thought left in his young mind: Get away from the pain. After half a day of running, we are brought to his present situation: Him collapsing against the ally wall.
Hours passed as Victor's body lay still, his breathing finally stopped and his heartbeat came to an end. But this wasn't the end. Only 3 minutes after Victor's body had died, his heart started beating again and breath filled his lungs. His eyes blinked open slowly with wisdom in them beyond the years of a 5-year-old boy.
...
A soul had accidentally wandered from its original world and passed into a deep void. It was not aware of anything and time seemed to pass and stretch without an ability to tell it. It passed into a deep silver misted and soaked, filling it with small strands of silver. It continued to pass by strange and mysterious landmarks in the void until it finally fell through another entrance to a world. It was incredibly lucky, it entered a body of a young boy who had just died and slowly recovered his consciousness.
...
Victor opened his eyes and the grey stones of the dirty alleyway filled his vision. The smell of rotting garbage filled his nose. He rubbed his eyes and looked around a bit confused.
"Where is this? Why am I so sore?" Victor muttered to himself. He held his head in pain and tried to sort through his thoughts.
He couldn't remember how he got here, the last thing he remembered was that he had submitted a report to his manager and left work. Traffic was bad and he remembered complaining about having to reheat a frozen dinner because of it. But that was the last he remembered.
*Grumble*
Victor's stomach grumbled and he realized that he felt like he hadn't eaten in days. He stood up and decided to look around for something to eat. However, he realized he was much shorter than normal. He glanced at his childish hands and was taken aback.
"What the?!" He exclaimed.
He studied his childish body and found himself in disbelief. He hurriedly ran to a shop window across the ally way and looked at his reflection from under the light of the street lamp. He saw a young boy with dark black hair down to his neck, hazel eyes, chubby cheeks of a 4-year-old, and a sharp nose.
Victor stumbled back from his reflection and fell on his butt. His mouth hung open and he remained speechless for a long time. His mind kept turning out reasonings and descriptions, he tried to put the world into a rational order. He had somehow ended up in a child's body. Did he travel back in time? This is definitely not a dream.
He put aside his hunger pains and searched for a newsstand. He managed to find a recent newspaper inside a garbage bin. The date was July 8th, 1973. The panic and excitement hit him at once and the magic power within his body stirred again. The trash bin levitated and was pushed away from Victor's unconscious rejection and denial of his circumstances.
Victor stared wide-eyed at the moving trash bin, he realized he also had just a bit more than time travel. He seemed to have some kind of superpower. Suddenly, he felt overwhelmed with a piercing pain in his mind. He felt a strange connection pouring into his mind. A connection was formed between the silver strands of mist in his mind. It was connected to a blob of grey and white there. He felt the overflow of these new memories that weren't his. No, they were his! They were these original bodies' memories.
He felt the pain of these memories, relived through the torture that the previous soul had experienced at the hands of the orphanage, and finally he fell unconscious from the overload of information. The experience was enough to make anyone pass out, he was lucky that his identity didn't break down from having conflicting memories.
...
10 minutes later.
An old man stopped in front of the young victor, who was unconscious on the street. He held in his hand a wand and elegantly waved it, repairing the surrounding environment with a flick of his wrist. He was short and wore a stylish overcoat with a large briefcase in his left hand. He had a grey earing of a monkey on his left ear, which animatedly rested as if it was alive. He mumbled to himself about things being troublesome before picking victor up on his back and entering his small store at the end of the street. The night passed quickly and the morning came after a few hours. Victor finally opened his eyes.
