Benedito and I sat on the couch. His head rested on my left shoulder whilst my hand gently played with the short hair at the back of his head. I had finally managed to calm him down after convincing him I would not leave.
His hand rested on my stomach that we both looked down to. I knew if it was just Benedito and I, we would have dealt with the situation differently. I felt we would have been less stressed if we were not expecting a child.
I would have dealt with them easily and we would have just moved on with our relationship, but knowing little Danilo was about to be introduced into this world made me incredibly worried. I knew Benedito would never put our child through what he went through but either way one day Danilo would have to find out.
