Emily pov's

The cool breeze of the wind blew my hair as I thought of my life, it been full of nothing but sadness

Not just sadness, pain, brokeness..

After Charles my first love left me.

I was devastated, he played with my emotions like I was a piece of junk.

we dated for 5 years from college and I thought he truly love me.

The mermories we shared during our college days were the best.

Many of our colleagues in college believe we would end up together

But the opposite happened.

"i love you so much emily" ... charles said to me as we were in the beach

"I love you more charles" I replied kissing his lips.

"Baby am pregnant" I yelled running into his bedroom.

"What" he said.

"We're going to have a child" I added jumping on his bed.

"Oh my God are you serious ?" he excalmed with his eyes popped out while I nodded in excitement.

"Thank you, I love you so much" he said placing kisses all over my face as he twirled me around.

We made preparation for our marriage.

I was the happiest bride so I thought.

My friends, family, the media were all present to witness the millionaire duaghter gets married.

Oy for that day to be the worst day of my life.

The beginning of my sadness and misery's.

On the wedding day

It was time for charles to make his speech as I have done mine.

I was excited because he told me his speech was a video of our love

Well that was after much persuading.

Only for charles to play a video of him speaking with his friends on a bet to lure me to marriage and make me bankrupt.

I stare at the screamed shocked, I didn't believe it at first and decided to wave it off.

But I watched closely and I could see charles in the video finalizing the deal with those friends of his.

I began to her murmur from the congregation and I became embarrassed.

Amongst all day for horrible things to happen, why does it has to be on my joyous wedding day.

Why must such things happen to me.

Why??

I found out that he never knew a wrong video would be played on the screamed and I was grateful to my saviour.

When I confronted him in tears, he lashes out how he didn't love me,how he can't stand my presence.

He made it clear to me that he was only after my money.

I was embarrassed, the whole world knew the millionaire duaghter was dumped on her wedding day.

I was played, I was used and I was broken by Charles

The wedding ended and I kept the baby believing Charles will return to me.

But after that incident Charles flee away and I haven't heard from him.

It been 3 years now and he never return, I guess he never loved me like he said.

I kept Charles baby and I gave birth to a very beautiful baby girl.

My daughter "Eva" has been my own bundle of joy.

I dated a few more guys who still claim to love me irespective of me having a child.

But all was void cause they were all after the same thing.

It was still the same brokeness but at least it never got to being dumoed on your wedding day again in front of the world.

"Mom" I heard my daughter voice bringing me back to reality.

I guess she needs my help with something.

"Baby mom is in the kitchen" I said as I rushed inside.

I saw her coming down the stairs with her teddy bear and her nanny walking beside her.

She's beautiful and she's got Charles hair color and his eyes . She reminds me so much of him

"Mommy" she ran and jumped on me

I triwled her around planting kisses on her cheeks.

"Oh darling how are you I asked" pulling her cheeks lightly while she giggled.

"Am fine mommy she said"

"Okay baby, why were you looking for me " I asked her

"I want ice cream mommy" she pouted

"Oh really baby" I grinned

"Yes mommy" she said nodding her head.

”Okay baby, let's play hide and seek and if you find mommy you will get a bucket of ice cream so are you ready ?" I asked and she clasped her hands together in excitement.

Yayyy she jumped smiling widely

I looked at her with smiles on my face, she's brought me joy even though she reminds me of the pain I past through.

But she remains my bundle of joy

After the little playtime with my daughter , I let's be the champion.

Now we are out to get a bucket of ice cream from the ice cream store.

We arrived at one of my ice cream store and I took her inside holding her hands tenderly.

We found a spot and sat down waiting tone attended to, the waiter came and took out orders after sharing pleasantries politely.

I ordered for vanilla flavour and eva order for banana flavour.

I smiled at the waiter and he left after penning down our order.

Later he arrived with our order and eva kept squealing like a new born when her ice cream arrived.

I received a phone call and it was from George'' well his my present boyfriend

I swipe to the green button and answered his calls.

"Hi Baby

"Hey George

"Are you free today I would love to take you to out to the park.

"No am with my daughter right now

"Oh, so you won't have my time right now I guess I will call you later.

He hung up Immediately

George has been sweet but am not pretty sure I truly love him

He don't have a very good relationship with my daughter, Cause eva doesn't like him one with.

Eva hardly likes any of my boyfriend's but she keeps asking about her daddy.

I was brought out of my thought when my daughter asked

*?"Mommy why don't I have a daddy ?"

"Here we go again with the daddy issue" I thought have explained this to her

"Well, baby am both your daddy and mommy, I provide you with your needs so there's no need for a daddy" I replied: while she nodded.

I smiled and ask her to finish up her ice cream

When we were done I place the money of the ice cream on the table before bringing down eva from her seat

We were going out when I bumped into someone and the bucket of ice cream spilled all over me
