Her Sensational Marriage To Her Ex-Fiance's Uncle

Qin Mei stood still, overwhelmed with surprise by the phone call she had just received.

'Husband? How did I get married without knowing how or when? Am I being scammed?'

She clutched her phone so tightly in her palms causing her slender fingers to turn red from the impact. However, the person she had just spoken to sounded so serious and did not seem to be joking. Moreover, she wondered how he knew about her whereabouts.

Was she being watched by her every move? Qin Mei cast her eyes around but did not see any suspicious figures.

Standing in front of the marriage service bureau, she did not know whether to take a step in or not.

After a few minutes of contemplating, she dialed the unknown number which had called her a few minutes ago.

The phone rung for a while and was picked up when it was about to end.

"Speak!", A man's cold yet pleasing voice sounded from the other end of the phone.

Qin Mei was stunned once more and did not know what to say, she was intimidated by his cold voice even though he was not with her. Judging from his voice, he did not seem to be an older person. She begun to wonder how this person might look like and the kind of character the person on the other end of the phone had. What if he was a notorious gang leader? A wanted criminal?

The man on the other end of the phone call was impatient after not hearing any response after so long and hung up without informing her.

Hearing the beeping sound, Qin Mei snapped out of her thoughts and was surprised to see that the other person had already hung up without even informing her. What kind of an arrogant person was he? How dare him hung up on her? It was not her fault to have been absentminded for a while. Since he was not ready to speak to her then she was going to find out about him on her own!

Qin Mei placed her phone in her bag, put on a mask and stepped into the bureau. The bureau was a bit noisy but not filled with so many people. Some people were there to get married whilst others were there to get divorced.

Qin Mei approached an attendant and spoke up in her naturally soft and sweet voice, "Hello, I am here to check information on someone"

The attendant did not bother to even look at her and continued playing with her phone as she replied in a somewhat cold voice, "Sorry, we do not disclose personal information of our clients"

"I am not here to check information on anyone, it is about myself", Qin Mei did not feel offended by her coldness and replied, she slipped her hand into her bag and took out her ID card.

The female attendant took the card was completely stunned by the mesmerizing picture on the ID. She finally lifted her head to take a proper look at the person standing before her.

Although the girl wore a mask, she could tell it was the same person. The female attendant had to admit that she had never seen anyone as pretty as the one before her, not even compared to the top tier celebrities.

Her character immediately took a hundred and eighty degrees change. She smiled sweetly at Qin Mei, "I'll check it out immediately! Take a seat so you do not get tired from standing from too long"

Qin Mei was stunned by the sudden change of character but would never have guessed that it was her delicate features that had caused it.

Qin Mei nodded slightly at the attendant and took a seat.

After a few minutes, the female attendant frowned.

"Miss beautiful, it is confirmed that you are indeed married but unfortunately for some reason, the identity of your partner has not been disclosed here", The female attendant spoke up.

"What? How is that even possible?", Qin Mei stood up immediately, her blue phoenix like eyes filled with shock, she did not even notice how she had been addressed.

"I can only say that the person you got married to must be very powerful to be able to hide his information. Do you not know who you got married to?", The young attendant asked, this was not the first time someone came to ask for information on their marriage partners. The excuse was usually that they were drunk. In most cases, the newlyweds would divorce immediately.

Hearing the attendant's question, Qin Mei blushed from embarrassment. She had gotten married without even knowing the identity of her partner yet he seemed to know her.

Who could it be? It was definitely not her boyfriend, Huo Zilan. The person's cold voice definitely did not belong to him. She did not have anyone in mind who seemed to want to get married to her. Who was this powerful and mysterious husband?

Seeing the beautiful lady remain quiet, the attendant had already guessed the answer. She could not help but feel sorry for her, such a pretty young lady seemed very innocent and must have been taken advantage of.

"How about this, give me your contact information. I'll try my best to see if I can find the identity of your partner, if I do then I'll give you a call", said the female attendant.

"Really?", Qin Mei was stunned by the sudden offer, "Sure, here's my contact information. Thank you so much"

"Don't worry, it's nothing", the female attendant smiled sweetly at her. Her eyes were filled with admiration.

Qin Mei took back her ID card, said another word of thanks to the attendant before walking out absentmindedly.

She now knew that she had not been scammed and that she was indeed a married woman now. It was really funny that she did not even know her husband's name, what he looked like or the kind of character he had.

What if he was ugly? Or what if he was poor? She did not have enough money to fend for herself and now she had to take care of someone else.

Anyways, it was not a bad thing though for the meantime. She was going to take advantage of her marriage and take her shares back from her elder stepsister, Qin Mingmei!

Even though she was only an illegitimate daughter, her grandfather favored her the most and had transferred his forty-five percent of shares to her.

'Keep my shares for me? You can continue dreaming!'

Qin Mei walked towards the roadside, she stood waiting to hail a taxi when she noticed a motorbike hailing towards her at full speed.

"Watch out!", A passer-by noticed and screamed.
