I have been a very obedient girl all my life, listening to anything told to me by my parents, I am not like Logan or Megan, Logan always had a way to get things done by using Mom. She had "little" more love for him than us both. But coming to the Little devil, she was very demanding, she had her own ideas, never listened to anyone from the age of 9 or 10, she used to argue with Mom and Dad for all the things she wanted, whether it was good for her or bad if she decided she wanted, she will make sure to get it, this was the first year, Megan bought her Birthday dress in such a short time, it use to take nearly 4 to 8 hours and she will visit all the big stores in K city then Madam will select her birthday dress. There is a lot of changes in this little baby girl...

I was very naive when I joined my university, I didn't know anything, I was a protected princess, the firstborn of our family, I was adored and spoilt by almost everybody. I struggled a lot to adjust to a new place, people, maximum everything around me, I even wanted to run back home, but that's when Ben came into my life. Ben Mathew... we could move forward with our relationship, Few months left for our internship to be over, Ben had planned to join a very famous hospital in N country, he was one of the shareholders of that hospital.

Ben took me for Dinner a week before and said his plan, and said, "Ava, I plan to join People's hospital as Chief

Orthopaedic and I also hold few shares in that hospital, I would like you to join with me a Paediatrician chief, what do you say", I said I will check from my parents, but before I finish my word, I was flabbergasted by what he did,

Ben, cut on his knees with a Pink Diamond ring in his hand. I was dumbfounded by his action, he proposed to me... me, I was surprised. I said, "Ben, I need some time to answer you, please understand", Ben stood up and held my hands and said, "Ava, I will wait for you, take your time, if you find the answer", turn back you will see me waiting for you.

I just wanted to hug him but had no courage, I liked him, it would be my blessing to have my best friend as my husband, but I need to take permission from my parents. The next day I told him I am going back home for days, I will get back on the awaiting answer of his, as I get approval from my parents.

I reached home, It was the weekend Megan was home sleeping, I woke her up, and went to Dad's study, Dad was working on some files, I stood there quietly, Dad noticed me and asked what was it, I called even Mom, Mom entered the study, and sat on the couch, I built my courage and said, " Dad, Mom, before I came here, Ben told he was going to N city, for work there, he even invited me with him", I stopped and looked at them.

There both had a serious look on the face as they watched me, I continued, "Dad, Ben proposed to me, asking me to marry him" I am here to ask for your permission.

My parents had a big smile on their face, I was a little shy, but need to know what was in their mind, so I waited for their response, My Mom got up from the couch and came to me and hugged me, my Dad was already walked to me tapped my shoulder, and said, "Ava, if Ben can be our son in law, we will be delighted", I hugged my parents, and thanked them for their approval. My Dad asked me to invite Ben home with his parents for further talk...

I went to my room after Megan went shopping, called my Prince Charming, Ben answered my call on the first ring...

" Hello Princess, how are doing, reached safely, this salve is waiting for your command your Highness" I laughed out loud at his talk, I really don't know where he learns this type of talk, after few seconds I said " Ben, I..I. I need my ring, when Can I get it", he was quiet for some time and asked seriously, "Ava, are you serious", I switched to video call, to see Ben's handsome, face looking into camera seriously, I smiled and said,

" Ben, my parents agreed to our marriage, My Dad, asked you to come with your parents for the future talk", I was so shy to look at his face, Ben said,

"Ava, baby look at me, I want you to look into my eyes and say, that you love me".

I lifted my eyes looked at him and said,

"Ben, I Love You, I want you to come down in another two days to put that ring in my finger".

"I have waited nearly five years to hear this Ava, I fell head over heels on the first day I saw you at our University". Ben said with a naughty smile on his face.

I looked at him surprisingly, Ben said he will be here in two days, that's a day before Megan Birthday...

A day before Megan Birthday, Ben and his parents came to K city, with my uncle, I went to pick up Ben, Aunt Fei, Uncle Jason, Ben's Parents, as we reached home, Dad was home, My Parents with my Aunt welcomed the Family of three to the living room. Dad, My uncle, Uncle Jason, spoke about their business, and some political issues, then My Mom, Aunt, and Aunt Fei walked from Kitchen with some snack and coffee and sat on the sofa, Then they started to talk about our marriage, where to have engagement, My Mom suggested that we will have our Engagement simple, on Megan's birthday party, and Marriage after a month, all agreed to it, I was so excited at the decisions... Our Engagement was on the next day.
