Ben, alongside his young brother Jay lived with their parents just outside the city. It was a 4km drive from their house to the main city and to his parents, they felt like they were safe. It has been a rough couple of 8years in the town of Cratersburgh as the disappearence of all male children became rampant. Immediately they got to 7years of age, they disappeared without trace.
This scared Ben and his family so they had to move a little further away and that's how they found themselves isolated from everyone else. They felt like it was safer; but was it?? Few months in and it looked good till the noises came in. Inorder to keep their sons safe, Gerald, Ben's father had to reinforced the house as he built several concrete rooms and fitted doors of iron and steel. They had been rumoured sightings of bodies being washed up down river and somehow nobody was recovered.
It was always a matter of time before his children started to disappear and he knew he had to stop them.
Ben had turned 8 and there he hadn't disappeared yet so they felt pretty confident though still skeptical. They had prayed every night before going to bed and Ben and his brother had to sleep in the reinforced rooms. They weren't happy about the fact that they couldn't live normal lives and that they always had to be scared so one time, Ben went out in the evening into the woods. It was quite a scary yet courageous thing to do but it got his parents really mad.
Sunday evening, 5pm, Ben's parents are out to get supplies while he stayed home with brother. His parents had locked him up to avoid stories that touch. So while Ben is locked up, Jay was in the living watching TV. And all of a sudden the lights go out and when they came back on, his brother was no where to be found. So he hits the door and screams and hits the door. He goes to the end of the room, and with full flight, hits the door in attempt to get it open but he bumps his head and he's passed out. He's woken up by parents who asked,
"Where's Jay"??
"What happened to you"??
Immediately he gains consciousness, he starts running and running and running. He ran till he got to the near end of the road, and cuts into the woods hoping to find his brother who was taken by God knows what.
