Waking up like usual, Qing Tian put away his tent and gathered his items before summoning the Ruby Panther and laying his stuff on it.

Qing Tian and the Duan siblings gathered and got ready to move on. Treading on the path that leads to where Mutant beasts have been seen.

Holding the Sacred Shuriken in his hand, Qing Tian made sure to not let any Mutant creature alive. With the super strong tied onto the Shuriken, Qing Tian waited for a Mutant creature to appear.

'I wonder if there were ever any spirits here in the first God's Sanctuary,' thought Qing Tian as he maintained a vigilant eye out.

"Qing Tian, we'll soon come up across a lake. We can get some water from there before continuing on any further," said Duan Lanying.

"Alright, let's get moving then," said Qing Tian as he made the Ruby Panther go faster.

In just a couple of minutes, the group of three finally came across a lake with no creatures in sight.

Duan Chen and Lanying got off their mounts and moved toward the lake, their canteens in hand.

"Stop!"

With a loud yell, Qing Tian stopped the two siblings from getting any closer to the lake.

"What's wrong?" Duan Chen turned around and looked at Qing Tian curiously.

"…" Qing Tian didn't say anything, instead he brought up a finger to his lips, silently telling the two siblings to keep quiet.

Moving over to the siblings, Qing Tian moved around quietly no matter how 'loud' his movements looked. When he arrived right before them, Qing Tian pulled out his sword and quickly had both siblings get on their mounts.

"Quickly! Get on your mounts," loudly whispered Qing Tian as he looked at the lake and maintained a sturdy posture.

Duan Chen and Lanying didn't stay around and ask any useless questions, they quickly got on their mounts and moved away quickly.

The instant the siblings rode away, a bubble of air came surfaced in the water. A second later shrill screams came out as weird monkey looking creatures jumped out of the water with some type of four legged fish as mounts?

Qing Tian studied the situation as he swiftly decapitated the nearest creatures in a single swift strike.

[Primitive creature Aquatic Monkey killed. No beast soul gained. Eat it's meat to gain Zero to Ten Primitive Geno points.]

[Ordinary creature Steed Fish killed. Beast soul gained. Eat it's meat to gain zero to ten Ordinary Geno points.]

More and more creatures kept spilling out of the lake, most being primitive creatures. Then, a Mutant kill came up.

[Mutant creature Aquatic Monkey killed. Beast soul gained. Eat it's meat to gain zero to ten Mutant Geno points.]

Hearing that, Qing Tian got moving and began to kill the creatures at an even faster pace. He wasn't worried about the siblings who had already gotten so far away.

They needed to be alive so that they could take him to Glory Shelter. That and that the siblings are just really weak and can't protect themselves.

The instant the Mutant creatures came out, the number of creatures leaving the lake started to dwindle. Qing Tian was slowly being covered in blood and water from the lake.

Only 7 more Mutant creatures came out before no more creatures were left coming out.

'It's weird…' thought Qing Tian as he looked at the dead Sea Monkeys. 'These Mutant monkeys aren't smart enough to be able to jump people like this… there must be a Sacred-Blood creature nearby.'

When that thought reached Qing Tian, he quickly put on the beast soul Armor he had and was quickly covered in a black metallic armor.

EEEE!!

The instant Qing Tian wore the Sacred Black Knight Armor, a huge blue monkey with the size and appearance of an ape with a tail jumped out of the water.

"So you're the master mind," said Qing Tian as he pointed the sword at the Sacred-Blood Sea Monkey. "Seeing how intelligent you are, your bloodline must be pretty pure."

'Too bad it didn't get you to Super...'

Qing Tian moved close to the Sacred-Blood Sea Monkey, clearly aware of the current dangers he faces. His strength isn't on par with a Peak Sacred-Blood creature, but his skills can clearly let him defeat one of that caliber.

As long as he avoids any direct hits, he can clearly survive this and take down the Sea Monkey.

Hou hou!

The monkey howled as it jumped forward and started throwing punches at Qing Tian, wishing to take him down. Qing Tian quickly avoided the attacks and easily began to move around the ape-sized monkey.

Making use of the kiting skills he mastered, Qing Tian began to manipulate the monkey just by simply standing still. In no time, the Sea Monkey was lured away from the lake and pulled it over to the open where no trees or water was near.

Putting down his leg and quickly pivoting before pushing himself towards the approaching Sea Monkey, Qing Tian focused his strength onto the sword and condensed his heavy and sharp aura onto the sword.

Vmm…

The sword cut through the air and made a beeline to the Sea Monkey's neck.

Ptsh!

Blood spilled out from the monkey's neck and the headless body of the monkey fell to the floor with a heavy thud.

'That wasn't too bad...' thought Qing Tian as he felt half of his energy and stamina wasted. 'Not too bad for someone like me fighting this creature who's way too strong for me. My Skills today have clearly saved me...'

Qing Tian smiled and looked at the bloodied blade with a small smile.

Crack!

'Ah...'

Qing Tian sighed before shaking his head with a helpless smile, 'The sword was too weak to withstand my aura. Either I get a stronger sword, or I better train my swordsmanship so that this doesn't happen again...'

Deciding to instead train his swordsmanship, Qing Tian wanted to see what the limits of weapon martial arts are in this world. He wanted to wield a Sacred-Blood sword and use it to fight against a Super creature and kill it.

Qing Tian wanted to see if it is possible and what the limits are. If his swordsmanship is so good, will he be able to kill a Super creature with even an Ordinary beast soul weapon?

Of course, this is only on the basis if the fitness is at a certain level of strength, or else no matter how good a skill or technique is, with no sufficient strength to back it, it will just be a flashy magic trick.

Especially for a world like this where the difference of strength is so vast and can decide the death of someone in just a single second.

Having sole skill in this world is nothing but a pipe dream if your body can't keep up with the targets.

In this world, it will be like a praying mantis wishing to fight against an elephant. You'd be too weak to withstand just the simple weight of a single foot.

'This is why I need to get stronger and increase the mastery of my martial arts,' thought Qing Tian as he sheathed the cracked blade and grabbed the head and body of the Sacred-Blood Sea Monkey.

Qing Tian will not only become one of the strongest, but he will become the best among the strongest. With more strength than anyone and better skills than anyone, Qing Tian will be taking himself all the way up to the peak.

"Once I bring my Basic Sword Technique to the Truth Realm, I will be able to practice a real Sword Technique and increase my strength even further," muttered Qing Tian as he finally brought the Sacred-Blood Sea Monkey over to the other dead Sea Monkeys.

'Now I have to call back those other two,' thought Qing Tian as he grabbed a branch and wrote something on it before searching where they were with his Heavenly Vision Technique. Once he caught sight of them, he threw the stick expertly, making it go straight over to the siblings.

Not bothering to wait for them, Qing Tian quickly began to remove the meat off the Sacred-Blood Sea Monkey before cooking it up to eat.

Qing Tian got quite lucky on the first chunk of meat he ate, bringing his Sacred geno points up to 13.

Feeling quite full, Qing Tian saved the rest of the Sacred-Blood meat before moving onto the Mutant meat and doing the same. By the time the Duan siblings arrived, Qing Tian was just chopping up the last two Mutant Sea Monkeys.

"Hey, took you guys a while," said Qing Tian with a smile on his face.

However, both Duan Chen and Lanying kept quiet as they looked at Qing Tian with shock. Qing Tian was still covered in blood and there was a mountain of corpses next to him, all belonging to the Ordinary and Primitive Sea Monkeys.

Noticing how quiet they were, Qing Tian brought over two packs of meat in front of them.

"These are two bags of Mutant creature meat," said Qing Tian, evading the fact that he kept 5 whole Mutant creatures' meat and a Sacred-Blood creature's meat. "The rest is all Primitive and Ordinary meat. How long until we reach the nearest shelter?"

Duan Lanying quickly snapped out of it and brought out a map, looking for the nearest shelter to them.

"Using the location of the pond as our location, we are 4 hours away from the nearest shelter, on mounts," said Duan Lanying after finding the nearest shelter.

"Great! Let's get moving, we need to sell all this meat quickly," said Qing Tian as he managed to put all the dead Sea Monkey on a very durable cloth that could carry all the meat.

Moving quickly, Qing Tian and the other's moved the Sea Monkey's to the nearest shelter, Greencloud Shelter.

"O-okay… that will be 1,000,450 Levo dollars for all the Sea Monkey and Steed Fish bodies and their beast souls," said the market man with a wry smile.

Qing Tian nodded and walked away, Ordinary and Primitive creature meat and beast souls don't cost that much. It was only because Qing Tian sold all seven mutant beast souls, it would have been more if the beast souls of these Sea Monkeys weren't the pet-type.

Pet-type beast souls really aren't famous at all.

The pets take too much meat to evolve and become capable of fighting. Especially the appetite of Mutant and Sacred-Blood creatures. Once people found out how difficult it was to raise Ordinary and Primitive pets to become able to fight, they all gave up. No one would even bother to try to get a Mutant or Sacred-Blood pet.

The only people who would get pet beast souls nowadays, are people who truly just want a pet.

'If they knew that Sacred-Blood pet's could become Super pets, I wonder how crazy the world would become,' Qing Tian wondered. 'The theory of how the Sacred-Blood Angel can continue to evolve can now be proven!'

Qing Tian happily looked at the small blue monkey on his shoulder, standing half a foot tall.

Smiling, Qing Tian now just needed to kill a Super creature who's not a First Gen.

"This will take a long time," thought Qing Tian since the only two Super creatures that are Second Gen and lower were Golden Growler and his mother.

'Wait! There's that larva Super creature!'

Qing Tian wasn't sure if it was too early for the larva to have been born yet, but it was worth a try.

It would also provide him an opportunity in the future to peacefully hunt the Super Turtle after it gives birth.

'Let's get another Pet-Beast soul...' thought Qing Tian as he looked at a Martial Ring not too far from him.

'Only a couple of months left until the Martial Ring opens again and everyone is allowed to compete and fight. If you're the winner of your shelter, you automatically win a beast soul, but you will put to fight the champions of other shelters. However the reward remains the same, just a Sacred-Blood beast soul.'

Qing Tian looked at the Martial Ring for a couple of seconds before walking away and heading to the exit where the Duan Siblings were waiting for him.
