Chapter 55
"I haven't said anything yet," Mr. Ortega seriously answered with his arms still crossed in front of his chest. "I have to talk to him first before I give my word. And if I find him unworthy to be your lover, I'll tell him to end his relationship with you."
Upon hearing his father's words, Dino felt glad that his father was willing to give a chance about their relationship. Another thing that made him happy was that whatever he was nervous about did not happen.
Afterwards, Dino stood up to hug his father before saying, "Thank you, Pa. I'll tell Ivan to come and talk to you then."
"Alright. You may go now," Mr. Ortega said.
Once he got out of his father's room, Dino went back to his room with a smile on his face that could reach even up to his ears. He still could not believe by himself that his father would, of all people, give his relationship with Ivan a chance.
