Harry POV:

It was an ordinary day for Harry, a young and ordinary 10-year-old boy. He woke up to the same dusty cobwebs in his cupboard, the same bleak breakfast, the same routine of physical torture from his cousin, Dudley, and the same wretched laughs from his Aunt and Uncle Dursley.

But today, there was something different, he was smiling. Young Harry was filled with endless enthusiasm, for what he did not know. He had been in a splendid mood since the morning, but there had been nothing different about his day.

"Why am I happy", he wondered.

"Is it because of -", he tried to recall some reason for his excitement. Suddenly, the doorbell rang, " RIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNGGGG!" "Who the bloody hell is ringing my doorbell so loud!", exclaimed Mr.Dursley and he screamed," Boy Go See What Turned Up at My Door!" Harry bolted, running as fast as could to open the large mahogany door fixed in place with 3 locks. He remembered when his uncle told him, they were to keep him from running away, but Harry always wondered, "Where would I even go?" The neighbors perceived him as a bad child from the badmouthing of his aunt and uncle, and he doesn't know anyone who would help him.
