Passing the Test

Just after Kakashi said start, both Sasuke and Sakura tried to gang up on him but he just fended them easily while reading Icha Icha on one hands while he had his other hand on his pocket.

While this was happening, Alex just stood there and enjoyed the fight.

After some beating from Kakashi, they made some distance from him and went in to the forest nearby to hide and come up with a plan that they didn't have for which they were given 3 days off.

Alex also wanted to join in the fun as well as finish it soon without showing his true skills as it would be troublesome later when he will leave the village.

He went to the place where Sasuke was hiding and quickly detailed him the plan of distraction while he snatches the bell.

He then along with Sasuke went to Sakura and told her the plan as well and quickly dispersed. Sasuke and Sakura went to opposite directions while Alex hid himself perfectly so that Kakashi won't sense him.

After all of them were in position, he quickly sends the signal to them by throwing the kunai at Kakashi without force so that even Sakura who was the weakest among them could see it.

Seeing the signal, they both throw their kunai at Kakashi and dash towards him while Kakashi dodges them quite easily.

After they came near him, they engage him in close combat making him focus on them while Alex creep near Kakashi and shouted

"In page no xx of Icha Icha, the boy..mmm mmm mmm"

Before he could finish, Kakashi quickly uses his free hand to block his mouth instinctively while Sasuke quickly uses this opportunity to snatch the two bells successfully.

Kakashi realizing himself being fooled sigh as it was one of his weaknesses. He had been reading all volumes of Icha Icha and thinking Alex might have read it already and was going to spoil reacted to block his mouth giving opening for enough time for Sasuke to snatch the bells.

Seeing their teamwork and creativity in planning, he had already passed them all but he wanted to test the most important thing for him so he asked

"Since you got the bells, the test is over. I can only pass two of you so choose who wants to pass the exam and who you guys want to fail"

Hearing this Sasuke immediately handed one bell to Alex while keeping one to himself making his choice obvious. Sakura meanwhile was heartbroken seeing Sasuke not even hesitate to throw her out causing her to tear up.

Alex took the bell and handed it to Sakura and said with a smile since he knew what he had to do to pass

"Take it. I will give the test next time so don't worry about it"

Kakashi seeing Alex sacrifice his chance to pass just for his teammates to be the ones to get that chance nodded his head and declared.

"Don't worry Alex, you pass as well. The main aim of this test was to test your teamwork which you guys have shown me clearly." He continued

"As for you Sasuke you didn't even hesitate to throw away one of your teammate who you thought was weaker is a bad of you. I want you to always remember that 'those who break the rules are scum but those who abandon their friends are worse than scum'"

Sasuke just nodded his head but didn't take that in consideration since he knew how cruel the world is since his own brother killed his entire clan along with his mother and father.

Kakashi then shifted his gaze to Sakura and continued "As for you Sakura, You need to be firm and demand your payment as well since they were not the only ones fighting. You fought alongside them and you had a hand on that bell as well so you should demand the fruit of you effort as well not to accept what other decides for you so be firm from now on"

Sakura just nodded her head in determination to become strong while keeping her head in shame for accepting her failure easily.

Seeing as she understood, Kakashi then nodded his head and instructed them to wait for him outside Hokage office to accept their first ever mission same time and walked away reading Icha Icha again.

They nodded their head as well and went towards their home while Alex just sighed since it will be a long day starting tomorrow with all the boring missions he knew will come to them.
