Tóm tắt

Xin Fei is a revered member of the divination commission. His knowledge of all things involving causality dwarfing anyone on the Xianzhou Loufu, although some consider him second to Fu Xuen - He knows the truth. His blue hair flows like the Vidyadharas celestial sea, his fighting as fluid as them too, as if a leaf in a gentle breeze, no one but the current General has been seen to land a hit on him. ———————- Honkai Star Rail FanFic

Chapter 1Calm before the storm

The suns rays jumped against my eyelids, causing them to flutter open and very quickly shut themselves again, the soft duvet entombing me in its splendour as i wince at the light again - forcing my eyes open trying to remember the night before.

"Fuck" my soft utterance was shrouded in acceptance as the events of last night cascaded against my bandaged forehead.

"Fuck" repeating the word for the sake of repeating it didn't help the growing headache nor the one my future self would have to deal with.

"Fuck me" absently getting out of bed I step over my bit too chubby cat, thankfully not having woken him up in my sleep, if that could be called sleep. When I think of sleep, I usually attach good connotations toward it, like waking up comfy without a massive headache or sleeping peacefully and not waking at every hour due to your lung packing up shop.

"Whatever, I'll just need to bother Fu Xuan and borrow her painkillers" i mutter to myself and justify that no over the counter stuff will help this, this pounding against my skull, as if a tiny guy is going at it over and over and over…

"All right! I get it, please stop tiny guy" I speak to myself as I get in front of the mirror, my slow trudge towed my bathroom taking too long, long enough for me to shout at the little guy going to town at using a sledgehammer against my skull.

"Hehahe what am I saying" my small laugh somewhat subsides the pain, albeit for a moment - and as if to make up for any amount of reprieve I had, if any, my head suddenly starts pounding against itself twice as hard

My small gasps of pain turn into longer controlled motions as I inhale some cheap pills, fuck this I need something stronger

I rummage through the empty cupboards cursing my past self for the lack of medicines, hissing at the pain as I wipe my sweaty forehead, brushing locks of blue out of the way as I reach for my phone, only then remembering it's in my room

My groan would most definitely be heard by neighbours if I had any, dragging my lags toward my room, I silently curse my past self again

"Who buys a house like this, tch" clicking my tongue at the sod who bought this house, I make my way to my room and notice that Mop is awake.

Forsaking my previous mission of a phone i summon all of my energy to walk a little faster toward him.

Mops bleary eyes roll at the daily sight as he contents himself to laying on his stomach, watching the pitiful sight coming toward him

"Mop-Mop!" I cried out as if I hadn't seen him in years, my hands brushed his pristine long hair, as Mops exasperated look pierces my chest - i physically stumble back and kind on the bed, whispering more to myself than the illiterate car

"You used to return my love Mop-Mop, how you've grown!" My melodramatic act was interrupted by a buzzing of a phone.

My hands snakes there way arm round the bed as my initial object was found under one of my pillows. As I unlock the phone I notice a text message from Fu Xuan.

Fu Xuan: Xin? Where are you? You didn't text yesterday and now you're not coming in to work??

(Seen)

Honestly, I don't understand him sometimes, I get that he doesn't want me divining his personal life - that's basically an unspoken rule on the Xianzhou, but this, this is unprofessional.

My small rant aside I look down at the phone to realise it still says read, my irritated mood seems to have been sense as the birds outside my window flew in a hurry

Fu Xuan: No excuse?

Xin Fei: No excuses dw evrything a-ok :) also I don't happn to hv any of those uber strong painkillers no?

As if deciphering a code, Fu Xuan takes several seconds to ponder as her irritated face softens slowly

Fu Xuan: learn to type normally and you can have some, how come you talk normal but you give people early Mara symptoms with this writing

Xin Fei: if it's for you, I'll try… nw cn u get moi sm pills redy

And audible sigh could be head a block over as Fu Xuans irritated mood is back, but not without the hint of a smile. Her hand reaches to a drawer to her right, creaking as it's opened, a jar of medicinal pills can be seen hiding, getting two ready as per his text so politely asked for, Fu Xuan is just glad that Xin Fei is back to normal.

The Synthesis Wizard

In a world where elements lay barren and powerful wizards had abandoned their homeland a millennium ago to explore the multiverse, Sunan found himself reincarnated as a noble scion stripped of his title. This world, once brimming with magic and wonder, had fallen into a desolate state, and wizards had become mere legends. Sunan was acutely aware that after a thousand years, the elements would awaken once more, heralding the return of the wizards and ushering in a new era of prosperity. He understood that his path was clear: he must train diligently to become a wizard himself and survive until this glorious age arrived. “Resources are scarce?” he mused, determination flickering in his eyes. “Then I’ll just have to synthesize them myself.” With that thought, he activated the Synthesis Cube, a device that granted him the ability to combine materials into something new. This Cube was not just a tool; it was a symbol of his potential in this world, reflecting his status as a player in a game he once played. As he set to work, the Cube glowed with possibilities, presenting him with a myriad of options. He had a few basic materials at his disposal, remnants of his previous life and the knowledge he had accumulated from his past experiences in the game. Sunan began experimenting, combining herbs and minerals he had gathered. Each successful synthesis filled him with a sense of accomplishment, inching him closer to his goal of becoming a wizard. Days turned into weeks, and Sunan’s skills improved rapidly. He crafted potions, improved his understanding of magical theories, and honed his mental abilities through intense meditation practices. The Star Ring Meditation, one of the first techniques he mastered, allowed him to tap into the latent mental energy within himself, enhancing his cognitive functions and magical sensitivity. As he progressed, whispers of his endeavors began to circulate among the remaining noble families and the common folk. Some viewed him with suspicion, while others saw potential in the young man who dared to challenge the status quo. Sunan knew he needed allies. He began seeking out individuals who shared his vision—a return to the age of wizards. He discreetly approached the remnants of the nobility, the few who still held some influence, and began to forge connections. His reputation grew cautiously, and with it, the opportunities to gather resources and knowledge. He learned of hidden libraries, ancient texts, and artifacts that could aid in his quest. One fateful day, while exploring a forgotten ruin, he uncovered an ancient tome detailing the rituals of the wizards who had once thrived on this land. The pages contained knowledge that could accelerate his growth, including spells long lost to time. “This is it,” Sunan thought as he carefully transcribed the contents into his own notes. “With this, I can not only learn the spells but also improve my synthesis techniques.” As he delved deeper into the arcane arts, he realized that the key to his ascension lay not just in personal power but in understanding the intricate web of alliances and rivalries that defined noble society. He had to navigate these treacherous waters carefully. In the back of his mind, Sunan always remembered the impending return of the wizards. The time was coming when he would have to reveal his true potential and lead the charge into the new era. With each passing day, he grew stronger, more confident, and increasingly aware of the responsibilities that awaited him. The world was changing, and Sunan was determined to be at the forefront of that change—a wizard in a world that had forgotten what it meant to wield true power.

Persona: The Phantom Masquerade.

After making a bet with the owner of the Velvet Room. The God of Control decides to cheat by changing the soul of the Trickster who is supposed to defeat him. Placing another soul into the protagonist of Persona 5 Royal. Follow Ren Amamiya, the impostor, as he slowly begins to spread his influence. All in an act to bring entertainment to those who are watching his actions. And maybe, in order to do something more, hiding his actions in plain sight to those who observe him. With the assistance of his persona, Tartuffe. he will be able to see through the masks that humanity wears. Gaining a deeper insight into those around him. ~Now, onto the part where the author talks about the story~ To those familiar with Persona 5, my goal for this story is to create a new version of what happens in the game rather than basically rewrite everything. That includes the way the confidants develop, as well as the way the story progresses. For those unfamiliar, I also try to explain everything in a way that you will be able to follow along even if you have never played Persona 5, though I highly recommend the game to anyone who hasn't played or watched a playthrough of it. Yes, it will have the harem and the R18 in the future. However, unlike novels that are 90% lemon, and he gets the girls two chapters after meeting them, the story and romance will progress at an actually reasonable pace. So, the relationships with each person will develop naturally as they do in the game. Lastly, I want to talk about the three pillars of this story, which are the confidants, the Metaverse, and the mix of both. For the last one, I mean chapters in which one of the confidants is developed while also learning more about the Metaverse and the mystery surrounding it. Throughout the story, I will try to weave the three of them as best as I can in order to capture the appeal of the game. Anyways, that's it. Hopefully, you all enjoy the story. --- --- --- Also, I opened a discord https://discord.gg/WTgN9J3YgK. Pretty barebones at the moment cuz it's brand new. But feel free to drop by.
