Avina stared at the monitor with pursed lips and unreadable eyes. She glanced at her phone and then at Yeni on the monitor. Finally, she couldn't hold herself and let out a silent curse.
'Since she's not an option, I'll just discharge myself and go home.'
5025 floated by her side and tilted its head. It stared questioning at the monitor and something in its data stream twitched. 'I get the feeling that something's wrong.'
Avina pushed the button to call the nurse. Glancing at the thoughtful 5025, she said, 'Maybe it's because our sisterly love seems void.'
When the nurse came in, Avina immediately requested to be discharged. The nurse looked at her with wrinkled brows and repeatedly glanced at her patient information. The more she remained silent, the deeper her frown became.
"Are you sure?" she asked. Pointing at the list of daily reminders and medicine, she continued, "You do know the state you're in, right?"
