Chapter 4

A/N: Hello. This is my first JoJo fanfic. Cuz I'm new to the fandom.

The most challenging thing when I write this is the characters. They're so damn hard to write. I can't make them stay in character sometimes so I apologise for any ooc moments.

I'll try my best to write about them.

Giorno turned into the corner. He felt bad about taking all the money but it was just a way to survive. Maybe he shouldn't have taken the credit card. He inspected the card as he stopped walking. "I should return this at least."

Then he headed to a market, he can buy flour now and he can give the rest of the money to Misaka's as a gesture of thank you. Maybe some for himself to grab some food later.

However, he was feeling a bit odd. The old man with the hat, did he know him before? Have they met? Giorno got the same feeling when he met the Japanese student the other day.

He wanted to turn back and ask them, he was so curious. Perhaps it was another clue to his memory loss.

But then again, he had already stolen the money. He bet the men would be furious at the moment. So he dropped the thoughts of seeing them again and continued to walk.

As he was about to walk out of the alleyway, he was suddenly grabbed from behind. Someone dragged him until he fell off the ground, his back hit the hard cement. Giorno winced in pain, rubbing his head. He didn't get to react in time when he was surprised by a familiar face.

Still laying on the ground, Giorno laughed dryly. He didn't expect the old man from earlier to find him so soon. He almost marvelled at his timing because just a minute away and he would've completed his task. Giorno rose from the ground, slowly and composed. He wasn't the least bit scared. His eyes brimmed with confidence as he began to speak, "May I help you?"

Joseph was amazed when Giorno didn't even sweat when he was caught. He was even more astonished that he was tricked by Giorno and he didn't even noticed. He almost acknowledged the boy but he was reminded the fact that Giorno is a stand user.

"Kid, I'm amazed by your talent. But I need that money so I'll be taking it back."

"I'm sorry sir but I can't give them back." Giorno poised himself as he was ready to run.

However, he was stopped by another familiar face. Giorno was trapped when Avdol came from behind him.

"Don't run kid."

Giorno was at disadvantage, or so they thought. The young man didn't even falter. He looked at Joseph straight in the eyes, "Don't think of following me." He said, confusing Avdol and Joseph for a moment.

The next thing they knew, Giorno had released his stand.

Joseph was on guard while Avdol had also released his stand the moment Giorno did.

This action surprised Giorno, he was suspicious of them but he really didn't want to think of the possibility that they also had a stand. He did suspected them to have one because of how fast they found him but that wouldn't stop him from getting away.

Avdol and Joseph lacked information. They didn't know Giorno's stand and how it works but they believed they would pull it off. They were ready for any offense. At the same time, they never did underestimate him.

Giorno immediately attacked Magician's Red.

As Giorno was about to land a punch, Avdol had his stand released more heat as it dodged Golden Experience's fist.

Then, Magician's Red let out a loud shriek as it was about to counter Golden Experience's attack. Avdol shouted, "Red Bind!" The fire that came out from the stand's hand looked like a rope as it bound Giorno's body firmly.

"Nice going Avdol! .. Even though he's just a kid." Joseph cheered but lowered his voice in a whisper for the last sentence.

A drop of sweat ran down Giorno's forehead when he started to feel the rising heat from the flame. He admitted that his opponent was tough and he might not have the chance to defeat them unprepared.

Noted, unprepared.

Just when Avdol thought he had won, he was instantly sent flying to the wall with a strong impact.

"Avdol!"

Blood gushed out from his mouth as he struggled to look at Giorno. Avdol was confused to what had happened. He didn't see any movement but the next thing he knew, he was hurt.

"You hurt this guy, and it was a bad move." Giorno lifted his hand and showed them a moving living being. "Muda da (It's useless)."

Joseph was baffled, his eyes focused on the spot Giorno just pointed and saw a chameleon on his hand. "That's it, the chameleon blended itself with the kid's clothes."

Avdol slowly rose from the ground as he refused to back away, "So your stand's ability is to reflect the attack."

Giorno didn't respond.

"Now that I know your ability, let's fight fairly."

Again, no words from Giorno. Avdol didn't need one to attack. Before he could use Magician's Red, a loud cry from Joseph distracted him from attacking.

"Oi oi what's up with this fly? It keeps bugging me!" Joseph flailed his hand and hit the fly. Similar to Avdol, he was also sent flying backwards. His attack against the fly backfired even though the impact wasn't as strong as how it affected Avdol.

"Mr. Joestar?!"

It was the moment Giorno needed to get away. Just a moment to distract them. He used the chance to sprint and ran away when Avdol lowered his guard.

It was a moment too late but Giorno was a already gone. Avdol sighed when he realised it. He helped Joseph up and folded his arms against his chest as he withdrew Magician's Red.

Joseph rubbed his neck as he winced in pain, "Oh god, that Haruno kid is tough."

"Yes, I agree."

When it seemed like he had ran far enough, Giorno stopped from taking any more steps. He panted and wiped the sweat from his forehead with his barehand.

Taking another route, farther than the one before might be decent now. He really liked the market there ever since he visited it a few days ago. The staffs were friendly and the owner would always give some free veggies to him everytime he went there, saying he owed Misaka's kindness.

Now that he was interfered by some random foreigners who also have stands, he had to find another store or market before going back to Misaka's place. Although he could've just went back and said he forgot, Giorno wanted to make Misaka smile.

She was so happy about making cake for Giorno, he wouldn't want to ruin that. So he had to return with at least, one pack of flour.

Giorno spotted an unfamiliar store, he would go with any store right now, because it was getting late. And he was in a hurry. He saw some messages from Misaka, telling him she was worried. And that was the last thing he would want to hear from Misaka. He hates to worry her.

But to his disappointment, he was again, stumbled into the two men. The stand users which he never asked for their names.

"You two are persistent."

Both with a smirk, they stood before Giorno.

"Do you want the money that badly?" Giorno whispered, barely heard by Joseph.

"Are you giving up?" The corner of Joseph's lips were curved slightly upwards, showing how proud he was of his ability's usefulness. Giorno was also given the warning- he can't run from them.

Regardless of how they expected Giorno to act, they were a bit surprised when the young man lifted both of his hands in surrender. They thought he would fight or at least, run again but Giorno somehow just sigh and stood there unguarded.

"I won't fight you anymore. Both of you are good guys."

Hearing this, Joseph and Avdol was even more confused.
