(Warning: This Story Contains Profanity) Sypnosis: GOD OF HUMANITY. "There's no confrontation that leads to not a single loss of life." Told by a wise old man sitting beside a withered tree. "The gust of wind blows upon North, South, East, and West to describe the upcoming changes." He smoked his cigar, holding his breath. *BLOW* "How far gone can one person handle the weight of the world?" He stared at the sky, looking at the gathering dark clouds. "The wind today is rather cold than warm." He picked up his cane and stood with his back crouched forward. "Shall I tell you a tale? A history most forgotten by the glorified age. A world that was once sunk with chaos and deceit." The old man gazes back at the old tree, touching the charred trunk; he reminisces. "While my life has gone past its prime. I can still share with you the profound experience... which I've gathered for the past thousands of years..." "Listen well... for I won't be here when this story ends."
Thousands of years in the far future, in Year XXXX, in a muddy and mountainous terrain along with a bit of rain and thunderclouds, lay 6 individuals. A goddess with long silver moonlit hair and golden eyes knelt on the cold, flooded ground as she looked upon the individual lying down on her lap, severely wounded.
"Why?"
She questioned, as she slowly directed her gaze towards a God with a similar feature to hers with short, moonlit hair.
"What do you mean why?"
The God answered with a cold and stiff expression as he gazed back towards the Goddess, who was weeping right in front of him, far out of his reach.
Suddenly, the rain poured much more heavily, and the tension only grew far beyond his control.
The Goddess spoke as silent encroaches. Her long moonlit hair flowed down to her face due to the rain.
*DRIP*
"Why did you hide it from me?"
A debate between 2 Gods of One Origin has taken place where no grass, no trees, no man, no gods other than them and few onlookers are present.
"If I had told you.
You would've immediately refused to cooperate and will instead hinder him in this operation."
The Goddess snapped into a fit of rage as she heard his indifferent tone. She gritted her teeth with tears flowing out of her eyes, still holding onto the individual lying down on her lap.
"SO WHAT?! IS THAT THE ONLY WAY?! WE COULD'VE FOUND ANOTHER WAY!
NOT LIKE THIS!..."
Her twin apparel looked at her with his cold eyes.
"You're still as naive as ever. Ever since the moment, we were split into two individuals."
The person lying on her lap slowly opened his eyes. Reaching out his hand towards the Goddess' face.
"Don't cry... This was all done and prepared solely by me... He has nothing to do with this...
Knowing you... This is the best decision I could ever come up to..."
The Goddess rebutted with a low and shaky voice.
"But why...?"
As she questioned, the individual shifted his gaze towards the sky.
"Ever since that day... I thought that... Our lives would just be filled with enjoyable moments, but the situation has changed... Leading up to this situation...
If I hadn't done so... Then "it" would have long detected our presence... I've already changed both of your Divine Prowess to match that of this planet's forces to avoid detection...
Thanks to the cooperation of this world's Gods and Goddesses... We've fully integrated into one of their histories."
The Goddess tearily answered.
"Why go this far...?
You could've escaped by yourself... The mortals of this world aren't even worthy in exchange for your life..."
The individual returned his gaze towards the Goddess, wiping off the tears flowing down her eyes.
"Haa... My cute little sister... Though you were just a single entity, you're both my everything...
If I had run off on my own and left you two... Who would protect you guys in my place?..."
The Goddess wasn't satisfied with his answer.
"But...!"
At death's door, the man gently rubbed her cheeks with a look of fulfilment on his face.
"Thank you... And... I'm sorry..."
With his last dying breath, the man closed his eyes as his hand dropped down to the flooded ground.
In that manner, the Goddess broke out of her sanity.
"Why...
...Why?!"
With his passing, the Goddess with a pair of golden eyes began to run amok, releasing all of her Divinity in a single breath, making the area around them heavy, stopping the droplets of water as if time itself froze.
However, in the heat of the moment, a shadow flashes right behind her.
The person who suddenly appeared behind the unstable Goddess used his hand at her nape with brute strength he rendered her unconscious.
"Guh..."
*PLOP*
Her beautiful silver moonlit hair slowly drops down and the Divinity she suddenly exuded vanished in that instant.
"Thank you, Rey."
The other pair of the unconscious Goddess thanked the man who took measure of the uncontrollable Goddess.
Rey nodded as he stared at the level of the peak of a Perpetual God, mainly known as the highest calibre of a God can ever achieve.
Silently he moved the Goddess away from the deceased man who was lying on her lap. With a tearful voice, he apologized and thanked the deceased.
*SOB...*
"I... No, we... for forever protecting us... We thank you... -------..."
Right after lifting her away, he kept his distance along with the other 2 individuals behind him. The only person who remained was the other half of the God of Humanity himself.
"Merlin."
"At your command, Master"
Merlin, one of history's most powerful sages, wearing a white cloak with his face hidden, appeared right at his side.
"Have all the Young Gods, demi gods and mortals of this planet been evacuated yet?"
"Yes, Master. With the help of the other Gods and Goddesses, we've successfully transferred them somewhere in the vast universe.
The only ones who are left should be your family."
"Can you do it?"
"Master, If it's only transferring 4 people then it's doable. No, I'll make it happen no matter what."
"Good. I'll give you half a minute to send them away."
"As you wish."
Merlin disappeared right after receiving orders.
30 seconds later, a huge overflowing black miasma envelopes the deceased.
"...It's time."
*BOOM!*
A huge surge of black Divinity burst through the sky as if it were an eclipse; everything above turned to nothingness in mere seconds, along with the corpse that was lying down on the cold stone ground.
"Merlin."
"Yes, Master."
"Where are they now?"
"They'll shortly arrive at their destination, Master."
"Good..."
The Perpetual God shone, showing a glimpse of his gold-plated silver armour; his helmet had two pairs of golden wings paired with the strongest armour that comes with the strongest weapon. An ancient double-edged sword which came from his mother planet.
"Pleiades."
A hereditary sword which was passed down to him by his Older Brother from his Father.
"It's been so long ever since then...
Right, Pleiades?"
"Master."
"What is it, Merlin?"
"It seems one of your companions tampered with his own time and went back to approximately 35 seconds ago."
From a distance, a familiar voice kept calling for me.
"Mark!"
The Perpetual God sighed in frustration.
*SIGH*
"Why bother coming back here, Rey?"
Rey jokingly answered scratching his head.
"Hahaha... I'm already too old for an adventure, I might as well accompany you to the end, right?"
"You're a demigod Rey, and demigods have a long lifespan.
Enough fooling around, go back."
At that time, I thought that maybe even after doing all of this, I could've saved them at least, but knowing his stubbornness, I doubted he'd obediently accept, so I tried shooing him away with my own hands, turning my back on him, insisting him to leave.
"Truthfully... It's just... I'm tired of running away, Mark.
I've already had my fill of my story; it wouldn't hurt for me to share it with my children, right? And I bet you need company, not as a servant but as a long-time friend."
He smiled, uttering these words. The words he left were filled with conviction with no trace of hesitation.
"So be it."
The two proudly confronted the beaming dark light along with the other Heroic Spirits and Gods.
"Leonidas, Arthur, Altria, Jeanne, Marie, Jack, Columbus, Drake, Gilgamesh, Every Noble Heroic Spirits."
In unison, all of the Divine Heroic Spirits have appeared, heeding his call, kneeling down in the instance of their arrival.
"Yes, Master."
Right after calling the Heroic Spirits, he then called upon the Gods and Goddesses of this world.
"Zeus, Poseidon, Hades, Gaia, Hestia, Eresh, Izanami, Every other Gods and Goddesses."
In unison, they appeared right on top of the crowding Spirits.
"We're all here, God of Humanity."
It was a sight to behold, seeing how unified they all are after having been in so many conflicts with each other. Finally, they stood as one in the face of imminent threat.
"Remember our vows, we set aside our differences when it comes to total annihilation.
Our goal is to hold it off for as long as we can. Letting those who were transported to continue on our lineage."
"We're all aware, don't worry. As your former enemy, I, Zeus, vow to protect our kind and the mortals of our world until the bitter end.
All of my comrades should also have the same answer as me."
Somewhere, Near the orbiting moon.
A black shadow has blocked the sun and has completely swallowed the moon.
"Rey."
"?"
"What you're about to witness is the "True End" which destroyed my homeland and countless others."
"You mean..."
"Indeed, I told you this story years ago after the end of our exploration."
"Gods Nemesis. Regurodon."
Side by side they've all prepared themselves for the upcoming annihilation.
*DOO--OOM*
With all the power out, the only light which brightens the entire world right now gathers at said mountain.
"Haa... What in the odds? My journey started on a mountain and will end on a mountain."
Rey rebutted to himself.
A moment later, millions of eyes flash through from space, their gaze directly directed towards them.
In the coalition between Gods, Demigods and noble heroic spirits, a battle of pride between them and an invader of the outer universe will now be on full display.
"LET'S GO!"
The God of Humanity rushes through, acting as the coalition's vanguard along with his trusted aides and friends.
In unison, they followed the lead of the leader of the coalition; together, they shouted in unison.
"CHARGE!!"
All of them flew towards the swallowed moon with the use of Mark's shared Divinity; all of those who cannot fly have been given the authority to do so.
'I, Rey Everlyn, the descendant of time, have no regrets in this life...'
(Reversing back the time up to the very first stages.
Back at the very first mountain. Yes, the mountain where it all began. The Epics, Tales, and Adventures our protagonists have gone through.)
The year 2024, July 7th, 7:45 am, at the tallest mountain in the Philippines, located between Davao City and Davao del Sur in the Davao Region, and Cotabato in Soccsksargen called Mount Apo, A man in a grey jacket, carrying a load of items on his back continues to breathe heavily as he climbs the top of said mountain. "Huff... Huff..." He continued to pant as if he were on his last legs.
As the man continued to climb to the top, a strong gust of wind followed which made him lose his balance momentarily almost falling to his death but immediately after the strong gust of wind passed through, he regained his balance once more, with a sigh of relief he said, "Phew... Close call" although Mount Apo is said to be the tallest mountain in the Philippines, it is also a hotspot of an active volcano and tourist were forbidden to pass through due to it being too unstable and might cause a huge tremor at any given time.
Surely, the man wearing a grey jacket knew of this and continued his mountain climbing, ignoring the possible dangers that might befall him.
The man just kept panting and panting as he grabbed hold of the rocks, stepping forth a little higher and closing in on the top. While climbing, he looked below as he grabbed hold tightly of his ice axe. "Damn... I'm getting nauseous just by looking down below..." He said as he continued to kick off again, climbing the tallest mountain in the country.
