Di sebuah desa, tepatnya di daerah Jawa Timur, tinggal lah seorang gadis muda nan cantik, dia adalah seorang penari di daerah tersebut. Setiap pria yang melihatnya jatuh hati padanya, lalu datang lah pemuda tampan dari tanah Sunda ke tanah Jawa dan menetap di sana, keduanya pun saling jatuh cinta, hingga akhirnya mereka menikah dan tepat di usia pernikahan mereka yang ke tiga minggu si istri hamil dan si suami di pindah tugaskan ke Jakarta. Si suami pun meninggalkan si istri untuk bekerja dan berjanji akan pulang jika ia libur kerja. Setelah sembilan bulan lamanya si suami memberi kabar pada istrinya kalau dia akan pulang ke rumah dan tepat di malam itu pria yang selama ini tergila-gila padanya mempunyai rencana yaitu menggoda si istri untuk meninggalkan si suami karena jarang di rumah. Tragedi itu pun terjadi pria yang selama ini tergila-gila padanya tidak sengaja menusukan pisau, lalu abdi dalem nya sebut saja mbok Surip di minta oleh si istri untuk membelah perutnya agar anaknya tetap hidup. Setelah anak nya lahir mbok Surip pergi meninggalkan daerah tersebut dan pindah ke daerah lainnya, masih di tanah Jawa. Ketika si suami sudah ingin sampai di rumah, si suami di hadang oleh empat orang dan di bunuh. Ternyata usut punya usut pria yang selama ini tergila-gila padanya sudah merencanakan semuanya termasuk pembunuhan suaminya dan ingin menguras atau menguasai semua harta benda dari si istri bersama dengan empat orang tersebut.
